Ma qataAAtum min leenatin awtaraktumooha qa-imatan AAala osoolihafabi-ithni Allahi waliyukhziya alfasiqeena

ماقطعتم من لينة او تركتموها قائمة علي اصولها فباذن الله وليخزي الفاسقين

[YA]: Whether ye cut down (O ye Muslim!) The tender palm-trees, or ye left them standing on their roots, it was by leave of Allah, and in order that He might cover with shame the rebellious transgresses.

[RK]:Whether you chop a tree or leave it standing on its trunk is in accordance with GOD's will. He will surely humiliate the wicked.

Wala takoonoo kaallatheenanasoo Allaha faansahum anfusahum ola-ikahumu alfasiqoona

ولاتكونوا كالذين نسوا الله فانساهم انفسهم اولئك هم الفاسقون

[YA]: And be ye not like those who forgot Allah; and He made them forget their own souls! Such are the rebellious transgressors!

[RK]:Do not be like those who forgot GOD, so He made them forget themselves. These are the wicked.

Wa-ith qala moosaliqawmihi ya qawmi lima tu/thoonanee waqadtaAAlamoona annee rasoolu Allahi ilaykum falamma zaghooazagha Allahu quloobahum waAllahu layahdee alqawma alfasiqeena

واذ قال موسي لقومه ياقوم لم تؤذونني وقد تعلمون اني رسول الله اليكم فلما زاغوا ازاغ الله قلوبهم والله لايهدي القوم الفاسقين

[YA]: And remember, Moses said to his people: "O my people! why do ye vex and insult me, though ye know that I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you?" Then when they went wrong, Allah let their hearts go wrong. For Allah guides not those who are rebellious transgressors.

[RK]:Recall that Moses said to his people, "O my people, why do you hurt me, even though you know that I am GOD's messenger to you?" When they deviated, GOD diverted their hearts. For GOD does not guide the wicked people.

Sawaon AAalayhim astaghfarta lahum amlam tastaghfir lahum lan yaghfira Allahu lahum inna Allahala yahdee alqawma alfasiqeena

سواء عليهم استغفرت لهم ام لم تستغفر لهم لن يغفر الله لهم ان الله لايهدي القوم الفاسقين

[YA]: It is equal to them whether thou pray for their forgiveness or not. Allah will not forgive them. Truly Allah guides not rebellious transgressors.

[RK]:It is the same for them, whether you pray for their forgiveness, or not pray for their forgiveness; GOD will not forgive them. For GOD does not guide the wicked people.
