ويقولون متي هذا الوعد ان كنتم صادقين

[YA]: They ask: When will this promise be (fulfilled)? - If ye are telling the truth.

[RK]:They challenge: "When will that prophecy come to pass, if you are truthful?"

Am lahum shurakao falya/too bishuraka-ihimin kanoo sadiqeena

ام لهم شركاء فلياتوا بشركائهم ان كانوا صادقين

[YA]: Or have they some "Partners" (in Allahhead)? Then let them produce their "partners", if they are truthful!

[RK]:Do they have idols? Let their idols help them, if they are truthful.

Waallatheena yusaddiqoonabiyawmi alddeeni

والذين يصدقون بيوم الدين

[YA]: And those who hold to the truth of the Day of Judgment;

[RK]:They believe in the Day of Judgment.

Fala saddaqa wala salla

فلا صدق ولاصلي

[YA]: So he gave nothing in charity, nor did he pray!-

[RK]:For he observed neither the charity, nor the contact prayers (Salat).

وصدق بالحسني

[YA]: And (in all sincerity) testifies to the best,-

[RK]:And upholds the scripture.
