Qul aminoo bihi aw latu/minoo inna allatheena ootoo alAAilma min qablihi ithayutla AAalayhim yakhirroona lil-athqanisujjadanقل امنوا به او لاتؤمنوا ان الذين اوتوا العلم من قبله اذا يتلي عليهم يخرون للاذقان سجدا
[YA]: Say: "Whether ye believe in it or not, it is true that those who were given knowledge beforehand, when it is recited to them, fall down on their faces in humble prostration,

[RK]:Proclaim, "Believe in it, or do not believe in it." Those who possess knowledge from the previous scriptures, when it is recited to them, they fall down to their chins, prostrating.

Wayakhirroona lil-athqaniyabkoona wayazeeduhum khushooAAanويخرون للاذقان يبكون ويزيدهم خشوعا
[YA]: They fall down on their faces in tears, and it increases their (earnest) humility.

[RK]:They fall down on their chins, prostrating and weeping, for it augments their reverence.

Inna jaAAalna fee aAAnaqihimaghlalan fahiya ila al-athqani fahummuqmahoonaانا جعلنا في اعناقهم اغلالا فهي الي الاذقان فهم مقمحون
[YA]: We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up (and they cannot see).

[RK]:For we place around their necks shackles, up to their chins. Consequently, they become locked in their disbelief.
