FaisdaAA bima tu/maruwaaAArid AAani almushrikeenaفاصدع بماتؤمر واعرض عن المشركين
[YA]: Therefore expound openly what thou art commanded, and turn away from those who join false gods with Allah.

[RK]:Therefore, carry out the orders given to you, and disregard the idol worshipers.

Faaqim wajhaka lilddeeni alqayyimimin qabli an ya/tiya yawmun la maradda lahu mina Allahiyawma-ithin yassaddaAAoonaفاقم وجهك للدين القيم من قبل ان ياتي يوم لامرد له من الله يومئذ يصدعون
[YA]: But set thou thy face to the right Religion before there come from Allah the Day which there is no chance of averting: on that Day shall men be divided (in two).

[RK]:Therefore, you shall devote yourself completely to this perfect religion, before a day comes which is made inevitable by GOD. On that day, they will be shocked.

La yusaddaAAoona AAanhawala yunzifoonaلايصدعون عنها ولاينزفون
[YA]: No after-ache will they receive therefrom, nor will they suffer intoxication:

[RK]:They never run out, nor do they get bored.

Law anzalna hatha alqur-anaAAala jabalin laraaytahu khashiAAan mutasaddiAAanmin khashyati Allahi watilka al-amthalu nadribuhalilnnasi laAAallahum yatafakkaroonaلو انزلنا هذا القران علي جبل لرايته خاشعا متصدعا من خشية الله وتلك الامثال نضربها للناس لعلهم يتفكرون
[YA]: Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, verily, thou wouldst have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of Allah. Such are the similitudes which We propound to men, that they may reflect.

[RK]:If we revealed this Quran to a mountain, you would see it trembling, crumbling, out of reverence for GOD. We cite these examples for the people, that they may reflect.

Waal-ardi thati alssadAAiوالارض ذات الصدع
[YA]: And by the Earth which opens out (for the gushing of springs or the sprouting of vegetation),-

[RK]:By the earth that cracks (to grow plants).
