ام خلقوا من غير شئ ام هم الخالقون

[YA]: Were they created of nothing, or were they themselves the creators?

[RK]:Were they created from nothing? Are they the creators?

Am lahum ilahun ghayru Allahisubhana Allahi AAamma yushrikoona

ام لهم اله غير الله سبحان الله عما يشركون

[YA]: Or have they a god other than Allah? Exalted is Allah far above the things they associate with Him!

[RK]:Do they have another god beside GOD? GOD be glorified, far above having partners.

فلولا ان كنتم غير مدينين

[YA]: Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,-

[RK]:If it is true that you do not owe any accounting -

[YA]: Nay, verily for thee is a Reward unfailing:

[YA]: For their Lord's displeasure is the opposite of Peace and Tranquillity;-

Illa AAala azwajihim awma malakat aymanuhum fa-innahum ghayru maloomeena

الا علي ازواجهم او ماملكت ايمانهم فانهم غير ملومين

[YA]: Except with their wives and the (captives) whom their right hands possess,- for (then) they are not to be blamed,

[RK]:(They have relations) only with their spouses, or what is legally theirs -

علي الكافرين غير يسير

[YA]: Far from easy for those without Faith.

[RK]:For the disbelievers, not easy.

Illa allatheena amanoowaAAamiloo alssalihati lahum ajrun ghayrumamnoonin

الا الذين امنوا وعملوا الصالحات لهم اجر غير ممنون

[YA]: Except to those who believe and work righteous deeds: For them is a Reward that will never fail.

[RK]:As for those who believed and led a righteous life, they receive a recompense that is well-deserved.

Illa allatheena amanoowaAAamiloo alssalihati falahum ajrun ghayrumamnoonin

الا الذين امنوا وعملوا الصالحات فلهم اجر غير ممنون

[YA]: Except such as believe and do righteous deeds: For they shall have a reward unfailing.

[RK]:Except those who believe and lead a righteous life; they receive a reward that is well deserved.
