Thalika min anba-i alghaybinooheehi ilayka wama kunta ladayhim ithyulqoona aqlamahum ayyuhum yakfulu maryama wamakunta ladayhim ith yakhtasimoonaذلك من انباء الغيب نوحيه اليك وماكنت لديهم اذ يلقون اقلامهم ايهم يكفل مريم وماكنت لديهم اذ يختصمون
[YA]: This is part of the tidings of the things unseen, which We reveal unto thee (O Messenger!) by inspiration: Thou wast not with them when they cast lots with arrows, as to which of them should be charged with the care of Mary: Nor wast thou with them when they disputed (the point).

[RK]:This is news from the past that we reveal to you. You were not there when they drew their raffles to select Mary's guardian. You were not present when they argued with one another.

Walaw annama fee al-ardi minshajaratin aqlamun waalbahru yamudduhu minbaAAdihi sabAAatu abhurin ma nafidat kalimatuAllahi inna Allaha AAazeezun hakeemunولو ان ما في الارض من شجرة اقلام والبحر يمده من بعده سبعة ابحر مانفدت كلمات الله ان الله عزيز حكيم
[YA]: And if all the trees on earth were pens and the ocean (were ink), with seven oceans behind it to add to its (supply), yet would not the words of Allah be exhausted (in the writing): for Allah is Exalted in Power, full of Wisdom.

[RK]:If all the trees on earth were made into pens, and the ocean supplied the ink, augmented by seven more oceans, the words of GOD would not run out. GOD is Almighty, Most Wise.

[YA]: Nun. By the Pen and the (Record) which (men) write,-

[RK]:NuN, the pen, and what they (the people) write.

[YA]: He Who taught (the use of) the pen,-

[RK]:Teaches by means of the pen.
