[YA]: They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!"

[RK]:They said, "The good news we give you is true; do not despair."

Qala waman yaqnatu min rahmatirabbihi illa alddalloonaقال ومن يقنط من رحمة ربه الا الضالون
[YA]: He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?"

[RK]:He said, "None despairs of his Lord's mercy, except the strayers."

Waitha athaqna alnnasarahmatan farihoo biha wa-in tusibhumsayyi-atun bima qaddamat aydeehim itha hum yaqnatoonaواذا اذقنا الناس رحمة فرحوا بها وان تصبهم سيئة بما قدمت ايديهم اذا هم يقنطون
[YA]: When We give men a taste of Mercy, they exult thereat: and when some evil afflicts them because of what their (own) hands have sent forth, behold, they are in despair!

[RK]:When we bestow mercy upon the people, they rejoice therein. But when adversity befalls them, as a consequence of their own works, they become despondent.

Qul ya AAibadiya allatheenaasrafoo AAala anfusihim la taqnatoo min rahmatiAllahi inna Allaha yaghfiru alththunoobajameeAAan innahu huwa alghafooru alrraheemuقل ياعبادي الذين اسرفوا علي انفسهم لاتقنطوا من رحمة الله ان الله يغفر الذنوب جميعا انه هو الغفور الرحيم
[YA]: Say: "O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

[RK]:Proclaim: "O My servants who exceeded the limits, never despair of GOD's mercy. For GOD forgives all sins. He is the Forgiver, Most Merciful."

La yas-amu al-insanu min duAAa-ialkhayri wa-in massahu alshsharru fayaoosun qanootunلايسام الانسان من دعاء الخير وان مسه الشر فيؤوس قنوط
[YA]: Man does not weary of asking for good (things), but if ill touches him, he gives up all hope (and) is lost in despair.

[RK]:The human being never tires of imploring for good things. And when adversity befalls him, he turns despondent, desperate.

Wahuwa allathee yunazzilu alghaythamin baAAdi ma qanatoo wayanshuru rahmatahuwahuwa alwaliyyu alhameeduوهو الذي ينزل الغيث من بعد ماقنطوا وينشر رحمته وهو الولي الحميد
[YA]: He is the One that sends down rain (even) after (men) have given up all hope, and scatters His Mercy (far and wide). And He is the Protector, Worthy of all Praise.

[RK]:He is the One who sends down the rain after they had despaired, and spreads His mercy. He is the only Master, Most Praiseworthy.
