Sirata allatheena anAAamta AAalayhim ghayri almaghdoobi AAalayhim wala alddalleenaصراط الذين انعمت عليهم غير المغضوب عليهم ولاالضالين
[YA]: The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray.

[RK]:the path of those whom You blessed; not of those who have deserved wrath, nor of the strayers.

Ola-ika allatheena ishtarawooalddalalata bialhuda famarabihat tijaratuhum wama kanoomuhtadeenaاولئك الذين اشتروا الضلالة بالهدي فما ربحت تجارتهم وماكانوا مهتدين
[YA]: These are they who have bartered Guidance for error: But their traffic is profitless, and they have lost true direction,

[RK]:It is they who bought the straying, at the expense of guidance. Such trade never prospers, nor do they receive any guidance.

Inna Allaha la yastahyeean yadriba mathalan ma baAAoodatan famafawqaha faamma allatheena amanoofayaAAlamoona annahu alhaqqu min rabbihim waammaallatheena kafaroo fayaqooloona matha aradaAllahu bihatha mathalan yudillu bihikatheeran wayahdee bihi katheeran wama yudillu bihiilla alfasiqeenaان الله لايستحيي ان يضرب مثلا ما بعوضة فما فوقها فاما الذين امنوا فيعلمون انه الحق من ربهم واما الذين كفروا فيقولون ماذا اراد الله بهذا مثلا يضل به كثيرا ويهدي به كثيرا ومايضل به الا الفاسقين
[YA]: Allah disdains not to use the similitude of things, lowest as well as highest. Those who believe know that it is truth from their Lord; but those who reject Faith say: "What means Allah by this similitude?" By it He causes many to stray, and many He leads into the right path; but He causes not to stray, except those who forsake (the path),-

[RK]:GOD does not shy away from citing any kind of allegory, from the tiny mosquito and greater. As for those who believe, they know that it is the truth from their Lord. As for those who disbelieve, they say, "What did GOD mean by such an allegory?" He misleads many thereby, and guides many thereby. But He never misleads thereby except the wicked,

Am tureedoona an tas-aloo rasoolakum kamasu-ila moosa min qablu waman yatabaddali alkufra bial-eemanifaqad dalla sawaa alssabeeliام تريدون ان تسئلوا رسولكم كما سئل موسي من قبل ومن يتبدل الكفر بالايمان فقد ضل سواء السبيل
[YA]: Would ye question your Messenger as Moses was questioned of old? but whoever changeth from Faith to Unbelief, Hath strayed without doubt from the even way.

[RK]:Do you wish to demand of your messenger what was demanded of Moses in the past? Anyone who chooses disbelief, instead of belief, has truly strayed off the right path.

Ola-ika allatheena ishtarawooalddalalata bialhuda waalAAathababialmaghfirati fama asbarahum AAala alnnariاولئك الذين اشتروا الضلالة بالهدي والعذاب بالمغفرة فما اصبرهم علي النار
[YA]: They are the ones who buy Error in place of Guidance and Torment in place of Forgiveness. Ah! what boldness (They show) for the Fire!

[RK]:It is they who chose the straying instead of guidance, and the retribution instead of forgiveness. Consequently, they will have to endure Hell.

Laysa AAalaykum junahun an tabtaghoofadlan min rabbikum fa-itha afadtum minAAarafatin faothkuroo Allaha AAindaalmashAAari alharami waothkuroohu kamahadakum wa-in kuntum min qablihi lamina alddalleenaليس عليكم جناح ان تبتغوا فضلا من ربكم فاذا افضتم من عرفات فاذكروا الله عند المشعر الحرام واذكروه كما هداكم وان كنتم من قبله لمن الضالين
[YA]: It is no crime in you if ye seek of the bounty of your Lord (during pilgrimage). Then when ye pour down from (Mount) Arafat, celebrate the praises of Allah at the Sacred Monument, and celebrate His praises as He has directed you, even though, before this, ye went astray.

[RK]:You commit no error by seeking provisions from your Lord (through commerce). When you file from `Arafaat, you shall commemorate GOD at the Sacred Location (of Muzdalifah). You shall commemorate Him for guiding you; before this, you had gone astray.

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooitha tadayantum bidaynin ila ajalin musammanfaoktuboohu walyaktub baynakum katibun bialAAadliwala ya/ba katibun an yaktuba kamaAAallamahu Allahu falyaktub walyumlili allatheeAAalayhi alhaqqu walyattaqi Allaha rabbahu walayabkhas minhu shay-an fa-in kana allathee AAalayhialhaqqu safeehan aw daAAeefan aw la yastateeAAuan yumilla huwa falyumlil waliyyuhu bialAAadli waistashhidooshaheedayni min rijalikum fa-in lam yakoonarajulayni farajulun waimraatani mimman tardawnamina alshshuhada-i an tadilla ihdahumafatuthakkira ihdahuma al-okhrawala ya/ba alshshuhadao itha maduAAoo wala tas-amoo an taktuboohu sagheeran awkabeeran ila ajalihi thalikum aqsatu AAindaAllahi waaqwamu lilshshahadati waadnaalla tartaboo illa an takoona tijaratanhadiratan tudeeroonaha baynakum falaysa AAalaykumjunahun alla taktubooha waashhidoo ithatabayaAAtum wala yudarra katibun walashaheedun wa-in tafAAaloo fa-innahu fusooqun bikum waittaqooAllaha wayuAAallimukumu Allahu waAllahubikulli shay-in AAaleemunياايها الذين امنوا اذا تداينتم بدين الي اجل مسمي فاكتبوه وليكتب بينكم كاتب بالعدل ولاياب كاتب ان يكتب كما علمه الله فليكتب وليملل الذي عليه الحق وليتق الله ربه ولايبخس منه شيئا فان كان الذي عليه الحق سفيها او ضعيفا او لايستطيع ان يمل هو فليملل وليه بالعدل واستشهدوا شهيدين من رجالكم فان لم يكونا رجلين فرجل وامراتان ممن ترضون من الشهداء ان تضل احداهما فتذكر احداهما الاخري ولاياب الشهداء اذا مادعوا ولاتساموا ان تكتبوه صغيرا او كبيرا الي اجله ذلكم اقسط عند الله واقوم للشهادة وادني الا ترتابوا الا ان تكون تجارة حاضرة تديرونها بينكم فليس عليكم جناح الا تكتبوها واشهدوا اذا تبايعتم ولايضار كاتب ولاشهيد وان تفعلوا فانه فسوق بكم واتقوا الله ويعلمكم الله والله بكل شئ عليم
[YA]: O ye who believe! When ye deal with each other, in transactions involving future obligations in a fixed period of time, reduce them to writing Let a scribe write down faithfully as between the parties: let not the scribe refuse to write: as Allah Has taught him, so let him write. Let him who incurs the liability dictate, but let him fear His Lord Allah, and not diminish aught of what he owes. If they party liable is mentally deficient, or weak, or unable Himself to dictate, Let his guardian dictate faithfully, and get two witnesses, out of your own men, and if there are not two men, then a man and two women, such as ye choose, for witnesses, so that if one of them errs, the other can remind her. The witnesses should not refuse when they are called on (For evidence). Disdain not to reduce to writing (your contract) for a future period, whether it be small or big: it is juster in the sight of Allah, More suitable as evidence, and more convenient to prevent doubts among yourselves but if it be a transaction which ye carry out on the spot among yourselves, there is no blame on you if ye reduce it not to writing. But take witness whenever ye make a commercial contract; and let neither scribe nor witness suffer harm. If ye do (such harm), it would be wickedness in you. So fear Allah; For it is Good that teaches you. And Allah is well acquainted with all things. If ye are on a journey, and cannot find a scribe, a pledge with possession (may serve the purpose). And if one of you deposits a thing on trust with another, let the trustee (faithfully) discharge his trust, and let him Fear his Lord conceal not evidence; for whoever conceals it, - his heart is tainted with sin. And Allah knoweth all that ye do.

[RK]:O you who believe, when you transact a loan for any period, you shall write it down. An impartial scribe shall do the writing. No scribe shall refuse to perform this service, according to GOD's teachings. He shall write, while the debtor dictates the terms. He shall observe GOD his Lord and never cheat. If the debtor is mentally incapable, or helpless, or cannot dictate, his guardian shall dictate equitably. Two men shall serve as witnesses; if not two men, then a man and two women whose testimony is acceptable to all. Thus, if one woman becomes biased, the other will remind her. It is the obligation of the witnesses to testify when called upon to do so. Do not tire of writing the details, no matter how long, including the time of repayment. This is equitable in the sight of GOD, assures better witnessing, and eliminates any doubts you may have. Business transactions that you execute on the spot need not be recorded, but have them witnessed. No scribe or witness shall be harmed on account of his services. If you harm them, it would be wickedness on your part. You shall observe GOD, and GOD will teach you. GOD is Omniscient.

[YA]: It is the wish of a section of the People of the Book to lead you astray. But they shall lead astray (Not you), but themselves, and they do not perceive!

[RK]:Some followers of the scripture wish to lead you astray, but they only lead themselves astray, without perceiving.

[YA]: It is the wish of a section of the People of the Book to lead you astray. But they shall lead astray (Not you), but themselves, and they do not perceive!

[RK]:Some followers of the scripture wish to lead you astray, but they only lead themselves astray, without perceiving.

Inna allatheena kafaroo baAAda eemanihimthumma izdadoo kufran lan tuqbala tawbatuhum waola-ikahumu alddalloonaان الذين كفروا بعد ايمانهم ثم ازدادوا كفرا لن تقبل توبتهم واولئك هم الضالون
[YA]: But those who reject Faith after they accepted it, and then go on adding to their defiance of Faith,- never will their repentance be accepted; for they are those who have (of set purpose) gone astray.

[RK]:Those who disbelieve after believing, then plunge deeper into disbelief, their repentance will not be accepted from them; they are the real strayers.

Laqad manna Allahu AAalaalmu/mineena ith baAAatha feehim rasoolan min anfusihimyatloo AAalayhim ayatihi wayuzakkeehimwayuAAallimuhumu alkitaba waalhikmata wa-inkanoo min qablu lafee dalalin mubeeninلقد من الله علي المؤمنين اذ بعث فيهم رسولا من انفسهم يتلو عليهم اياته ويزكيهم ويعلمهم الكتاب والحكمة وان كانوا من قبل لفي ضلال مبين
[YA]: Allah did confer a great favour on the believers when He sent among them a messenger from among themselves, rehearsing unto them the Signs of Allah, sanctifying them, and instructing them in Scripture and Wisdom, while, before that, they had been in manifest error.

[RK]:GOD has blessed the believers by raising in their midst a messenger from among them, to recite for them His revelations, and to purify them, and to teach them the scripture and wisdom. Before this, they had gone totally astray.

[YA]: Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who were given a portion of the Book? they traffic in error, and wish that ye should lose the right path.

[RK]:Have you noted those who received a portion of the scripture, and how they choose to stray, and wish that you stray from the path?

[YA]: Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who were given a portion of the Book? they traffic in error, and wish that ye should lose the right path.

[RK]:Have you noted those who received a portion of the scripture, and how they choose to stray, and wish that you stray from the path?

Alam tara ila allatheenayazAAumoona annahum amanoo bima onzila ilayka wamaonzila min qablika yureedoona an yatahakamoo ila alttaghootiwaqad omiroo an yakfuroo bihi wayureedu alshshaytanuan yudillahum dalalan baAAeedanالم تر الي الذين يزعمون انهم امنوا بما انزل اليك وماانزل من قبلك يريدون ان يتحاكموا الي الطاغوت وقد امروا ان يكفروا به ويريد الشيطان ان يضلهم ضلالا بعيدا
[YA]: Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who declare that they believe in the revelations that have come to thee and to those before thee? Their (real) wish is to resort together for judgment (in their disputes) to the Evil One, though they were ordered to reject him. But Satan's wish is to lead them astray far away (from the right).

[RK]:Have you noted those who claim that they believe in what was revealed to you, and in what was revealed before you, then uphold the unjust laws of their idols? They were commanded to reject such laws. Indeed, it is the devil's wish to lead them far astray.

[YA]: Why should ye be divided into two parties about the Hypocrites? Allah hath upset them for their (evil) deeds. Would ye guide those whom Allah hath thrown out of the Way? For those whom Allah hath thrown out of the Way, never shalt thou find the Way.

[RK]:Why should you divide yourselves into two groups regarding hypocrites (among you)? GOD is the one who condemned them because of their own behavior. Do you want to guide those who are sent astray by GOD? Whomever GOD sends astray, you can never find a way to guide them.

[YA]: Why should ye be divided into two parties about the Hypocrites? Allah hath upset them for their (evil) deeds. Would ye guide those whom Allah hath thrown out of the Way? For those whom Allah hath thrown out of the Way, never shalt thou find the Way.

[RK]:Why should you divide yourselves into two groups regarding hypocrites (among you)? GOD is the one who condemned them because of their own behavior. Do you want to guide those who are sent astray by GOD? Whomever GOD sends astray, you can never find a way to guide them.

Walawla fadlu AllahiAAalayka warahmatuhu lahammat ta-ifatun minhum anyudillooka wama yudilloona illaanfusahum wama yadurroonaka min shay-in waanzalaAllahu AAalayka alkitaba waalhikmatawaAAallamaka ma lam takun taAAlamu wakana fadluAllahi AAalayka AAatheemanولولا فضل الله عليك ورحمته لهمت طائفة منهم ان يضلوك ومايضلون الا انفسهم ومايضرونك من شئ وانزل الله عليك الكتاب والحكمة وعلمك مالم تكن تعلم وكان فضل الله عليك عظيما
[YA]: But for the Grace of Allah to thee and his Mercy, a party of them would certainly have plotted to lead thee astray. But (in fact) they will only Lead their own souls astray, and to thee they can do no harm in the least. For Allah hath sent down to thee the Book and wisdom and taught thee what thou Knewest not (before): And great is the Grace of Allah unto thee.

[RK]:If it were not for GOD's grace towards you, and His mercy, some of them would have misled you. They only mislead themselves, and they can never harm you in the least. GOD has sent down to you the scripture and wisdom, and He has taught you what you never knew. Indeed, GOD's blessings upon you have been great.

[YA]: Allah forgiveth not (The sin of) joining other gods with Him; but He forgiveth whom He pleaseth other sins than this: one who joins other gods with Allah, Hath strayed far, far away (from the right).

[RK]:GOD does not forgive idol worship (if maintained until death), and He forgives lesser offenses for whomever He wills. Anyone who idolizes any idol beside GOD has strayed far astray.

Walaodillannahum walaomanniyannahumwalaamurannahum falayubattikunna athana al-anAAamiwalaamurannahum falayughayyirunna khalqa Allahiwaman yattakhithi alshshaytana waliyyan mindooni Allahi faqad khasira khusranan mubeenanولاضلنهم ولامنينهم ولامرنهم فليبتكن اذان الانعام ولامرنهم فليغيرن خلق الله ومن يتخذ الشيطان وليا من دون الله فقد خسر خسرانا مبينا
[YA]: "I will mislead them, and I will create in them false desires; I will order them to slit the ears of cattle, and to deface the (fair) nature created by Allah." Whoever, forsaking Allah, takes satan for a friend, hath of a surety suffered a loss that is manifest.

[RK]:"I will mislead them, I will entice them, I will command them to (forbid the eating of certain meats by) marking the ears of livestock, and I will command them to distort the creation of GOD." Anyone who accepts the devil as a lord, instead of GOD, has incurred a profound loss.

[YA]: O ye who believe! Believe in Allah and His Messenger, and the scripture which He hath sent to His Messenger and the scripture which He sent to those before (him). Any who denieth Allah, His angels, His Books, His Messengers, and the Day of Judgment, hath gone far, far astray.

[RK]:O you who believe, you shall believe in GOD and His messenger, and the scripture He has revealed through His messenger, and the scripture He has revealed before that. Anyone who refuses to believe in GOD, and His angels, and His scriptures, and His messengers, and the Last Day, has indeed strayed far astray.

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooaminoo biAllahi warasoolihi waalkitabiallathee nazzala AAala rasoolihi waalkitabiallathee anzala min qablu waman yakfur biAllahiwamala-ikatihi wakutubihi warusulihi waalyawmi al-akhirifaqad dalla dalalan baAAeedanياايها الذين امنوا امنوا بالله ورسوله والكتاب الذي نزل علي رسوله والكتاب الذي انزل من قبل ومن يكفر بالله وملائكته وكتبه ورسله واليوم الاخر فقد ضل ضلالا بعيدا
[YA]: O ye who believe! Believe in Allah and His Messenger, and the scripture which He hath sent to His Messenger and the scripture which He sent to those before (him). Any who denieth Allah, His angels, His Books, His Messengers, and the Day of Judgment, hath gone far, far astray.

[RK]:O you who believe, you shall believe in GOD and His messenger, and the scripture He has revealed through His messenger, and the scripture He has revealed before that. Anyone who refuses to believe in GOD, and His angels, and His scriptures, and His messengers, and the Last Day, has indeed strayed far astray.

Muthabthabeena bayna thalikala ila haola-i wala ilahaola-i waman yudlili Allahu falantajida lahu sabeelanمذبذبين بين ذلك لاالي هؤلاء ولاالي هؤلاء ومن يضلل الله فلن تجد له سبيلا
[YA]: (They are) distracted in mind even in the midst of it,- being (sincerely) for neither one group nor for another whom Allah leaves straying,- never wilt thou find for him the way.

[RK]:They waver in between, neither belonging to this group, nor that group. Whomever GOD sends astray, you will never find a way to guide him.

[YA]: Those who reject Faith and keep off (men) from the way of Allah, have verily strayed far, far away from the Path.

[RK]:Surely, those who disbelieve and repel from the way of GOD have strayed far astray.

[YA]: They ask thee for a legal decision. Say: Allah directs (thus) about those who leave no descendants or ascendants as heirs. If it is a man that dies, leaving a sister but no child, she shall have half the inheritance: If (such a deceased was) a woman, who left no child, Her brother takes her inheritance: If there are two sisters, they shall have two-thirds of the inheritance (between them): if there are brothers and sisters, (they share), the male having twice the share of the female. Thus doth Allah make clear to you (His law), lest ye err. And Allah hath knowledge of all things.

[RK]:They consult you; say, "GOD advises you concerning the single person. If one dies and leaves no children, and he had a sister, she gets half the inheritance. If she dies first, he inherits from her, if she left no children. If there were two sisters, they get two-thirds of the inheritance. If the siblings are men and women, the male gets twice the share of the female." GOD thus clarifies for you, lest you go astray. GOD is fully aware of all things.

Walaqad akhatha Allahu meethaqabanee isra-eela wabaAAathna minhumu ithnay AAasharanaqeeban waqala Allahu innee maAAakum la-inaqamtumu alssalata waataytumu alzzakatawaamantum birusulee waAAazzartumoohum waaqradtumuAllaha qardan hasanan laokaffiranna AAankumsayyi-atikum walaodkhilannakum jannatin tajree mintahtiha al-anharu faman kafara baAAda thalikaminkum faqad dalla sawaa alssabeeliولقد اخذ الله ميثاق بني اسرائيل وبعثنا منهم اثني عشر نقيبا وقال الله اني معكم لئن اقمتم الصلاة واتيتم الزكاة وامنتم برسلي وعزرتموهم واقرضتم الله قرضا حسنا لاكفرن عنكم سيئاتكم ولادخلنكم جنات تجري من تحتها الانهار فمن كفر بعد ذلك منكم فقد ضل سواء السبيل
[YA]: Allah did aforetime take a covenant from the Children of Israel, and we appointed twelve captains among them. And Allah said: "I am with you: if ye (but) establish regular prayers, practise regular charity, believe in my messengers, honour and assist them, and loan to Allah a beautiful loan, verily I will wipe out from you your evils, and admit you to gardens with rivers flowing beneath; but if any of you, after this, resisteth faith, he hath truly wandered from the path or rectitude."

[RK]:GOD had taken a covenant from the Children of Israel, and we raised among them twelve patriarchs. And GOD said, "I am with you, so long as you observe the Contact Prayers (Salat), give the obligatory charity (Zakat), and believe in My messengers and respect them, and continue to lend GOD a loan of righteousness. I will then remit your sins, and admit you into gardens with flowing streams. Anyone who disbelieves after this, has indeed strayed off the right path."

Qul hal onabbi-okum bisharrin min thalikamathoobatan AAinda Allahi man laAAanahu Allahuwaghadiba AAalayhi wajaAAala minhumu alqiradata waalkhanazeerawaAAabada alttaghooti ola-ika sharrun makananwaadallu AAan sawa-i alssabeeliقل هل انبئكم بشر من ذلك مثوبة عند الله من لعنه الله وغضب عليه وجعل منهم القردة والخنازير وعبدالطاغوت اولئك شر مكانا واضل عن سواء السبيل
[YA]: Say: "Shall I point out to you something much worse than this, (as judged) by the treatment it received from Allah? those who incurred the curse of Allah and His wrath, those of whom some He transformed into apes and swine, those who worshipped evil;- these are (many times) worse in rank, and far more astray from the even path!"

[RK]:Say, "Let me tell you who are worse in the sight of GOD: those who are condemned by GOD after incurring His wrath until He made them (as despicable as) monkeys and pigs, and the idol worshipers. These are far worse, and farther from the right path."

[YA]: O ye who believe! Guard your own souls: If ye follow (right) guidance, no hurt can come to you from those who stray. the goal of you all is to Allah: it is He that will show you the truth of all that ye do.

[RK]:O you who believe, you should worry only about your own necks. If the others go astray, they cannot hurt you, as long as you are guided. To GOD is your ultimate destiny, all of you, then He will inform you of everything you had done.

[YA]: Behold! how they lie against their own souls! But the (lie) which they invented will leave them in the lurch.

[RK]:Note how they lied to themselves, and how the idols they had invented have abandoned them.

[YA]: Those who reject our signs are deaf and dumb,- in the midst of darkness profound: whom Allah willeth, He leaveth to wander: whom He willeth, He placeth on the way that is straight.

[RK]:Those who reject our proofs are deaf and dumb, in total darkness. Whomever GOD wills, He sends astray, and whomever He wills, He leads in a straight path.

[YA]: Say: "I am forbidden to worship those - others than Allah - whom ye call upon." Say: "I will not follow your wain desires: If I did, I would stray from the path, and be not of the company of those who receive guidance."

[RK]:Say, "I am forbidden from worshipping what you worship besides GOD." Say, "I will not follow your opinions. Otherwise, I will go astray, and not be guided."

[YA]: Lo! Abraham said to his father Azar: "Takest thou idols for gods? For I see thee and thy people in manifest error."

[RK]:Recall that Abraham said to his father Azar, "How could you worship statues as gods? I see that you and your people have gone far astray."

[YA]: When he saw the moon rising in splendour, he said: "This is my Lord." But when the moon set, He said: "unless my Lord guide me, I shall surely be among those who go astray."

[RK]:When he saw the moon rising, he said, "Maybe this is my Lord!" When it disappeared, he said, "Unless my Lord guides me, I will be with the strayers."

Walaqad ji/tumoona furadakama khalaqnakum awwala marratin wataraktum makhawwalnakum waraa thuhoorikum wamanara maAAakum shufaAAaakumu allatheenazaAAamtum annahum feekum shurakao laqad taqattaAAabaynakum wadalla AAankum ma kuntum tazAAumoonaولقد جئتمونا فرادي كما خلقناكم اول مرة وتركتم ماخولناكم وراء ظهوركم ومانري معكم شفعاءكم الذين زعمتم انهم فيكم شركاء لقد تقطع بينكم وضل عنكم ماكنتم تزعمون
[YA]: "And behold! ye come to us bare and alone as We created you for the first time: ye have left behind you all (the favours) which We bestowed on you: We see not with you your intercessors whom ye thought to be partners in your affairs: so now all relations between you have been cut off, and your (pet) fancies have left you in the lurch!"

[RK]:"You have come back to us as individuals, just as we created you the first time, and you have left behind what we provided for you. We do not see with you the intercessors that you idolized and claimed that they will help you. All ties among you have been severed; the idols you set up have abandoned you."

Wa-in tutiAA akthara man fee al-ardiyudillooka AAan sabeeli Allahi in yattabiAAoona illaalththanna wa-in hum illa yakhrusoonaوان تطع اكثر من في الارض يضلوك عن سبيل الله ان يتبعون الا الظن وان هم الا يخرصون
[YA]: Wert thou to follow the common run of those on earth, they will lead thee away from the way of Allah. They follow nothing but conjecture: they do nothing but lie.

[RK]:If you obey the majority of people on earth, they will divert you from the path of GOD. They follow only conjecture; they only guess.

Inna rabbaka huwa aAAlamu man yadilluAAan sabeelihi wahuwa aAAlamu bialmuhtadeenaان ربك هو اعلم من يضل عن سبيله وهو اعلم بالمهتدين
[YA]: Thy Lord knoweth best who strayeth from His way: He knoweth best who they are that receive His guidance.

[RK]:Your Lord is fully aware of those who stray off His path, and He is fully aware of those who are guided.

Wama lakum alla ta/kuloo mimmathukira ismu Allahi AAalayhi waqad fassalalakum ma harrama AAalaykum illa ma idturirtumilayhi wa-inna katheeran layudilloona bi-ahwa-ihimbighayri AAilmin inna rabbaka huwa aAAlamu bialmuAAtadeenaومالكم الا تاكلوا مما ذكر اسم الله عليه وقد فصل لكم ماحرم عليكم الا مااضطررتم اليه وان كثيرا ليضلون باهوائهم بغير علم ان ربك هو اعلم بالمعتدين
[YA]: Why should ye not eat of (meats) on which Allah's name hath been pronounced, when He hath explained to you in detail what is forbidden to you - except under compulsion of necessity? But many do mislead (men) by their appetites unchecked by knowledge. Thy Lord knoweth best those who transgress.

[RK]:Why should you not eat from that upon which GOD's name has been mentioned? He has detailed for you what is prohibited for you, unless you are forced. Indeed, many people mislead others with their personal opinions, without knowledge. Your Lord is fully aware of the transgressors.

Faman yuridi Allahu an yahdiyahuyashrah sadrahu lil-islami waman yurid an yudillahuyajAAal sadrahu dayyiqan harajan kaannamayassaAAAAadu fee alssama-i kathalikayajAAalu Allahu alrrijsa AAala allatheenala yu/minoonaفمن يرد الله ان يهديه يشرح صدره للاسلام ومن يرد ان يضله يجعل صدره ضيقا حرجا كانما يصعد في السماء كذلك يجعل الله الرجس علي الذين لايؤمنون
[YA]: Those whom Allah (in His plan) willeth to guide,- He openeth their breast to Islam; those whom He willeth to leave straying,- He maketh their breast close and constricted, as if they had to climb up to the skies: thus doth Allah (heap) the penalty on those who refuse to believe.

[RK]:Whomever GOD wills to guide, He renders his chest wide open to Submission. And whomever He wills to send astray, He renders his chest intolerant and straitened, like one who climbs towards the sky. GOD thus places a curse upon those who refuse to believe.

Qad khasira allatheena qataloo awladahumsafahan bighayri AAilmin waharramoo ma razaqahumuAllahu iftiraan AAala Allahi qad dalloowama kanoo muhtadeenaقد خسر الذين قتلوا اولادهم سفها بغير علم وحرموا مارزقهم الله افتراء علي الله قد ضلوا وماكانوا مهتدين
[YA]: Lost are those who slay their children, from folly, without knowledge, and forbid food which Allah hath provided for them, inventing (lies) against Allah. They have indeed gone astray and heeded no guidance.

[RK]:Losers indeed are those who killed their children foolishly, due to their lack of knowledge, and prohibited what GOD has provided for them, and followed innovations attributed to GOD. They have gone astray; they are not guided.

Wamina al-ibili ithnayni wamina albaqariithnayni qul alththakarayni harramaami alonthayayni amma ishtamalat AAalayhi arhamualonthayayni am kuntum shuhadaa ith wassakumuAllahu bihatha faman athlamu mimmaniiftara AAala Allahi kathiban liyudillaalnnasa bighayri AAilmin inna Allaha layahdee alqawma alththalimeenaومن الابل اثنين ومن البقر اثنين قل ءالذكرين حرم ام الانثيين امااشتملت عليه ارحام الانثيين ام كنتم شهداء اذ وصاكم الله بهذا فمن اظلم ممن افتري علي الله كذبا ليضل الناس بغير علم ان الله لايهدي القوم الظالمين
[YA]: Of camels a pair, and oxen a pair; say, hath He forbidden the two males, or the two females, or (the young) which the wombs of the two females enclose? - Were ye present when Allah ordered you such a thing? But who doth more wrong than one who invents a lie against Allah, to lead astray men without knowledge? For Allah guideth not people who do wrong.

[RK]:Regarding the two kinds of camels, and the two kinds of cattle, say, "Is it the two males that He prohibited, or the two females, or the contents of the wombs of the two females? Were you witnesses when GOD decreed such prohibitions for you? Who is more evil than those who invent such lies and attribute them to GOD? They thus mislead the people without knowledge. GOD does not guide such evil people."

Fareeqan hada wafareeqan haqqaAAalayhimu alddalalatu innahumu ittakhathooalshshayateena awliyaa min dooni Allahiwayahsaboona annahum muhtadoonaفريقا هدي وفريقا حق عليهم الضلالة انهم اتخذوا الشياطين اولياء من دون الله ويحسبون انهم مهتدون
[YA]: Some He hath guided: Others have (by their choice) deserved the loss of their way; in that they took the evil ones, in preference to Allah, for their friends and protectors, and think that they receive guidance.

[RK]:Some He guided, while others are committed to straying. They have taken the devils as their masters, instead of GOD, yet they believe that they are guided.

Faman athlamu mimmani iftaraAAala Allahi kathiban aw kaththababi-ayatihi ola-ika yanaluhum naseebuhummina alkitabi hatta itha jaat-humrusuluna yatawaffawnahum qaloo ayna makuntum tadAAoona min dooni Allahi qaloo dallooAAanna washahidoo AAala anfusihim annahum kanookafireenaفمن اظلم ممن افتري علي الله كذبا او كذب باياته اولئك ينالهم نصيبهم من الكتاب حتي اذا جاءتهم رسلنا يتوفونهم قالوا اين ماكنتم تدعون من دون الله قالوا ضلوا عنا وشهدوا علي انفسهم انهم كانوا كافرين
[YA]: Who is more unjust than one who invents a lie against Allah or rejects His Signs? For such, their portion appointed must reach them from the Book (of decrees): until, when our messengers (of death) arrive and take their souls, they say: "Where are the things that ye used to invoke besides Allah?" They will reply, "They have left us in the lurch," And they will bear witness against themselves, that they had rejected Allah.

[RK]:Who is more evil than those who invent lies about GOD, or reject His revelations? These will get their share, in accordance with the scripture, then, when our messengers come to terminate their lives, they will say, "Where are the idols you used to implore beside GOD?" They will say, "They have abandoned us." They will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.

Qala odkhuloo fee omamin qad khalatmin qablikum mina aljinni waal-insi fee alnnarikullama dakhalat ommatun laAAanat okhtaha hattaitha iddarakoo feeha jameeAAan qalatokhrahum li-oolahum rabbana haola-iadalloona faatihim AAathaban diAAfanmina alnnari qala likullin diAAfunwalakin la taAAlamoonaقال ادخلوا في امم قد خلت من قبلكم من الجن والانس في النار كلما دخلت امة لعنت اختها حتي اذا اداركوا فيها جميعا قالت اخراهم لاولاهم ربنا هؤلاء اضلونا فاتهم عذابا ضعفا من النار قال لكل ضعف ولكن لاتعلمون
[YA]: He will say: "Enter ye in the company of the peoples who passed away before you - men and jinns, - into the Fire." Every time a new people enters, it curses its sister-people (that went before), until they follow each other, all into the Fire. Saith the last about the first: "Our Lord! it is these that misled us: so give them a double penalty in the Fire." He will say: "Doubled for all" : but this ye do not understand.

[RK]:He will say, "Enter with the previous communities of jinns and humans into Hell." Every time a group enters, they will curse their ancestral group. Once they are all in it, the latest one will say of the previous one, "Our Lord, these are the ones who misled us. Give them double the retribution of Hell." He will say, "Each receives double, but you do not know."
