Inna allatheena kafaroo wathalamoolam yakuni Allahu liyaghfira lahum walaliyahdiyahum tareeqanان الذين كفروا وظلموا لم يكن الله ليغفر لهم ولاليهديهم طريقا
[YA]: Those who reject Faith and do wrong,- Allah will not forgive them nor guide them to any way-

[RK]:Those who disbelieve and transgress, GOD will not forgive them, nor will He guide them in any way;

Illa tareeqa jahannama khalideenafeeha abadan wakana thalika AAala Allahiyaseeranالا طريق جهنم خالدين فيها ابدا وكان ذلك علي الله يسيرا
[YA]: Except the way of Hell, to dwell therein for ever. And this to Allah is easy.

[RK]:except the way to Hell, wherein they abide forever. This is easy for GOD to do.

Qaloo in hathani lasahiraniyureedani an yukhrijakum min ardikum bisihrihimawayathhaba bitareeqatikumu almuthlaقالوا ان هذان لساحران يريدان ان يخرجاكم من ارضكم بسحرهما ويذهبا بطريقتكم المثلي
[YA]: They said: "These two are certainly (expert) magicians: their object is to drive you out from your land with their magic, and to do away with your most cherished institutions.

[RK]:They said, "These two are no more than magicians who wish to take you out of your land with their magic, and to destroy your ideal way of life.

Walaqad awhayna ilamoosa an asri biAAibadee faidriblahum tareeqan fee albahri yabasan la takhafudarakan wala takhshaولقد اوحينا الي موسي ان اسر بعبادي فاضرب لهم طريقا في البحر يبسا لاتخاف دركا ولاتخشي
[YA]: We sent an inspiration to Moses: "Travel by night with My servants, and strike a dry path for them through the sea, without fear of being overtaken (by Pharaoh) and without (any other) fear."

[RK]:We inspired Moses: "Lead My servants out, and strike for them a dry road across the sea. You shall not fear that you may get caught, nor shall you worry."

Nahnu aAAlamu bima yaqooloonaith yaqoolu amthaluhum tareeqatan in labithtum illayawmanنحن اعلم بما يقولون اذ يقول امثلهم طريقة ان لبثتم الا يوما
[YA]: We know best what they will say, when their leader most eminent in conduct will say: "Ye tarried not longer than a day!"

[RK]:We are fully aware of their utterances. The most accurate among them will say, "You stayed no more than a day."

Walaqad khalaqna fawqakum sabAAa tara-iqawama kunna AAani alkhalqi ghafileenaولقد خلقنا فوقكم سبع طرائق وماكنا عن الخلق غافلين
[YA]: And We have made, above you, seven tracts; and We are never unmindful of (our) Creation.

[RK]:We created above you seven universes in layers, and we are never unaware of a single creature in them.

Qaloo ya qawmana innasamiAAna kitaban onzila min baAAdi moosa musaddiqanlima bayna yadayhi yahdee ila alhaqqi wa-ilatareeqin mustaqeeminقالوا ياقومنا انا سمعنا كتابا انزل من بعد موسي مصدقا لما بين يديه يهدي الي الحق والي طريق مستقيم
[YA]: They said, "O our people! We have heard a Book revealed after Moses, confirming what came before it: it guides (men) to the Truth and to a Straight Path.

[RK]:They said, "O our people, we have heard a book that was revealed after Moses, and confirms the previous scriptures. It guides to the truth; to the right path.

Waanna minna alssalihoonawaminna doona thalika kunna tara-iqaqidadanوانامنا الصالحون ومنا دون ذلك كنا طرائق قددا
[YA]: 'There are among us some that are righteous, and some the contrary: we follow divergent paths.

[RK]:" `Some of us are righteous, and some are less than righteous; we follow various paths.

Waallawi istaqamoo AAala alttareeqatilaasqaynahum maan ghadaqanوالو استقاموا علي الطريقة لاسقيناهم ماء غدقا
[YA]: (And Allah's Message is): "If they (the Pagans) had (only) remained on the (right) Way, We should certainly have bestowed on them Rain in abundance.

[RK]:If they remain on the right path, we will bless them with abundant water.

[YA]: By the Sky and the Night-Visitant (therein);-

[RK]:By the sky and Al-Taareq.

Wama adraka ma alttariquوماادراك ماالطارق
[YA]: And what will explain to thee what the Night-Visitant is?-

[RK]:Do you know what Al-Taareq is?
