Wajaahu qawmuhu yuhraAAoona ilayhiwamin qablu kanoo yaAAmaloona alssayyi-ati qalaya qawmi haola-i banatee hunna atharulakum faittaqoo Allaha wala tukhzooni fee dayfeealaysa minkum rajulun rasheedunوجاءه قومه يهرعون اليه ومن قبل كانوا يعملون السيئات قال ياقوم هؤلاء بناتي هن اطهر لكم فاتقوا الله ولاتخزون في ضيفي اليس منكم رجل رشيد
[YA]: And his people came rushing towards him, and they had been long in the habit of practising abominations. He said: "O my people! Here are my daughters: they are purer for you (if ye marry)! Now fear Allah, and cover me not with shame about my guests! Is there not among you a single right-minded man?"

[RK]:His people came rushing; they had grown accustomed to their sinful acts. He said, "O my people, it would be purer for you, if you take my daughters instead. You shall reverence GOD; do not embarrass me with my guests. Have you not one reasonable man among you?"

[YA]: Tell them about the guests of Abraham.

[RK]:Inform them about Abraham's guests.

[YA]: Lut said: "These are my guests: disgrace me not:

[RK]:He said, "These are my guests; do not embarrass me.

Faintalaqa hattaitha ataya ahla qaryatin istatAAamaahlaha faabaw an yudayyifoohuma fawajadafeeha jidaran yureedu an yanqadda faaqamahuqala law shi/ta laittakhathta AAalayhi ajranفانطلقا حتي اذا اتيا اهل قرية استطعما اهلها فابوا ان يضيفوهما فوجدا فيها جدارا يريد ان ينقض فاقامه قال لو شئت لاتخذت عليه اجرا
[YA]: Then they proceeded: until, when they came to the inhabitants of a town, they asked them for food, but they refused them hospitality. They found there a wall on the point of falling down, but he set it up straight. (Moses) said: "If thou hadst wished, surely thou couldst have exacted some recompense for it!"

[RK]:So they went. When they reached a certain community, they asked the people for food, but they refused to host them. Soon, they found a wall about to collapse, and he fixed it. He said, "You could have demanded a wage for that!"

[YA]: Has the story reached thee, of the honoured guests of Abraham?

[RK]:Have you noted the history of Abraham's honorable guests?

Walaqad rawadoohu AAan dayfihifatamasna aAAyunahum fathooqoo AAathabeewanuthuriولقد راودوه عن ضيفه فطمسنا اعينهم فذوقوا عذابي ونذر
[YA]: And they even sought to snatch away his guests from him, but We blinded their eyes. (They heard:) "Now taste ye My Wrath and My Warning."

[RK]:They negotiated with him about his guests; we blinded them. Suffer My retribution; you have been warned.
