فانشانا لكم به جنات من نخيل واعناب لكم فيها فواكه كثيرة ومنها تاكلون

[YA]: With it We grow for you gardens of date-palms and vines: in them have ye abundant fruits: and of them ye eat (and have enjoyment),-

[RK]:With it, we produce for you orchards of date palms, grapes, all kinds of fruits, and various foods.

ان اصحاب الجنة اليوم في شغل فاكهون

[YA]: Verily the Companions of the Garden shall that Day have joy in all that they do;

[RK]:The dwellers of Paradise will be, on that day, happily busy.

لهم فيها فاكهة ولهم مايدعون

[YA]: (Every) fruit (enjoyment) will be there for them; they shall have whatever they call for;

[RK]:They will have fruits therein; they will have anything they wish.

فواكه وهم مكرمون

[YA]: Fruits (Delights); and they (shall enjoy) honour and dignity,

[RK]:All kinds of fruits. They will be honored.

[YA]: Is it not that they say, from their own invention,

[RK]:Indeed, they grossly blaspheme when they say -

متكئين فيها يدعون فيها بفاكهة كثيرة وشراب

[YA]: Therein will they recline (at ease): Therein can they call (at pleasure) for fruit in abundance, and (delicious) drink;

[RK]:Relaxing therein, they will be given many kinds of fruits and drinks.

لكم فيها فاكهة كثيرة منها تاكلون

[YA]: Ye shall have therein abundance of fruit, from which ye shall have satisfaction.

[RK]:You will have in it all kinds of fruits, from which you eat.

ونعمة كانوا فيها فاكهين

[YA]: And wealth (and conveniences of life), wherein they had taken such delight!

[RK]:Blessings that they enjoyed.

يدعون فيها بكل فاكهة امنين

[YA]: There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security;

[RK]:They enjoy in it all kinds of fruits, in perfect peace.

Falawla nasarahumu allatheenaittakhathoo min dooni Allahi qurbanan alihatanbal dalloo AAanhum wathalika ifkuhum wama kanooyaftaroona

فلولا نصرهم الذين اتخذوا من دون الله قربانا الهة بل ضلوا عنهم وذلك افكهم وماكانوا يفترون

[YA]: Why then was no help forthcoming to them from those whom they worshipped as gods, besides Allah, as a means of access (to Allah)? Nay, they left them in the lurch: but that was their falsehood and their invention.

[RK]:Why then did the idols they set up to bring them closer to GOD fail to help them? Instead, they abandoned them. Such were the false gods they idolized; such were the innovations they fabricated.

Fakiheena bima atahumrabbuhum wawaqahum rabbuhum AAathaba aljaheemi

فاكهين بما اتاهم ربهم ووقاهم ربهم عذاب الجحيم

[YA]: Enjoying the (Bliss) which their Lord hath bestowed on them, and their Lord shall deliver them from the Penalty of the Fire.

[RK]:They enjoy what their Lord has reserved for them; their Lord has spared them the retribution of Hell.

Waamdadnahum bifakihatin walahminmimma yashtahoona

وامددناهم بفاكهة ولحم ممايشتهون

[YA]: And We shall bestow on them, of fruit and meat, anything they shall desire.

[RK]:We will supply them with fruits and meats that they love.

Feeha fakihatun waalnnakhluthatu al-akmami

فيها فاكهة والنخل ذات الاكمام

[YA]: Therein is fruit and date-palms, producing spathes (enclosing dates);

[RK]:In it there are fruits, and date palms with their hanging fruit.

فيهما من كل فاكهة زوجان

[YA]: In them will be Fruits of every kind, two and two.

[RK]:Of every fruit in them, two kinds.

[YA]: In them will be Fruits, and dates and pomegranates:

[RK]:In them are fruits, date palms, and pomegranate.

وفاكهة مما يتخيرون

[YA]: And with fruits, any that they may select:

[RK]:Fruits of their choice.

[RK]:Many fruits.

لو نشاء لجعلناه حطاما فظلتم تفكهون

[YA]: Were it Our Will, We could crumble it to dry powder, and ye would be left in wonderment,

[RK]:If we will, we can turn it into hay. Then you will lament:

وفواكه مما يشتهون

[YA]: And (they shall have) fruits,- all they desire.

[RK]:And fruits that they desire.

[YA]: And fruits and fodder,-

[RK]:Fruits and vegetables.

Wa-itha inqalaboo ila ahlihimuinqalaboo fakiheena

واذا انقلبوا الي اهلهم انقلبوا فكهين

[YA]: And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting;

[RK]:When they got together with their people, they used to joke.
