Inna allatheena kaththaboo bi-ayatinawaistakbaroo AAanha la tufattahulahum abwabu alssama-i walayadkhuloona aljannata hatta yalija aljamalu feesammi alkhiyati wakathalika najzee almujrimeenaان الذين كذبوا باياتنا واستكبروا عنها لاتفتح لهم ابواب السماء ولايدخلون الجنة حتي يلج الجمل في سم الخياط وكذلك نجزي المجرمين
[YA]: To those who reject Our signs and treat them with arrogance, no opening will there be of the gates of heaven, nor will they enter the garden, until the camel can pass through the eye of the needle: Such is Our reward for those in sin.

[RK]:Surely, those who reject our revelations and are too arrogant to uphold them, the gates of the sky will never open for them, nor will they enter Paradise until the camel passes through the needle's eye. We thus requite the guilty.

Wajaoo AAala qameesihibidamin kathibin qala bal sawwalat lakum anfusukumamran fasabrun jameelun waAllahu almustaAAanuAAala ma tasifoonaوجاؤوا علي قميصه بدم كذب قال بل سولت لكم انفسكم امرا فصبر جميل والله المستعان علي ماتصفون
[YA]: They stained his shirt with false blood. He said: "Nay, but your minds have made up a tale (that may pass) with you, (for me) patience is most fitting: Against that which ye assert, it is Allah (alone) Whose help can be sought"..

[RK]:They produced his shirt with fake blood on it. He said, "Indeed, you have conspired with each other to commit a certain scheme. All I can do is resort to a quiet patience. May GOD help me in the face of your conspiracy."

Qala bal sawwalat lakum anfusukumamran fasabrun jameelun AAasa Allahu anya/tiyanee bihim jameeAAan innahu huwa alAAaleemu alhakeemuقال بل سولت لكم انفسكم امرا فصبر جميل عسي الله ان ياتيني بهم جميعا انه هو العليم الحكيم
[YA]: Jacob said: "Nay, but ye have yourselves contrived a story (good enough) for you. So patience is most fitting (for me). Maybe Allah will bring them (back) all to me (in the end). For He is indeed full of knowledge and wisdom."

[RK]:He said, "Indeed, you have conspired to carry out a certain scheme. Quiet patience is my only recourse. May GOD bring them all back to me. He is the Omniscient, Most Wise."

Wama khalaqna alssamawatiwaal-arda wama baynahuma illabialhaqqi wa-inna alssaAAata laatiyatunfaisfahi alssafhaaljameelaوماخلقنا السماوات والارض ومابينهما الا بالحق وان الساعة لاتية فاصفح الصفح الجميل
[YA]: We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, but for just ends. And the Hour is surely coming (when this will be manifest). So overlook (any human faults) with gracious forgiveness.

[RK]:We did not create the heavens and the earth, and everything between them, except for a specific purpose. The end of the world will come, so treat them with benign neglect.

Walakum feeha jamalun heenatureehoona waheena tasrahoonaولكم فيها جمال حين تريحون وحين تسرحون
[YA]: And ye have a sense of pride and beauty in them as ye drive them home in the evening, and as ye lead them forth to pasture in the morning.

[RK]:They also provide you with luxury during your leisure, and when you travel.

Waqala allatheena kafaroo lawlanuzzila AAalayhi alqur-anu jumlatan wahidatan kathalikalinuthabbita bihi fu-adaka warattalnahu tarteelanوقال الذين كفروا لولا نزل عليه القران جملة واحدة كذلك لنثبت به فؤادك ورتلنه ترتيلا
[YA]: Those who reject Faith say: "Why is not the Qur'an revealed to him all at once? Thus (is it revealed), that We may strengthen thy heart thereby, and We have rehearsed it to thee in slow, well-arranged stages, gradually.

[RK]:Those who disbelieved said, "Why did not the Quran come through him all at once?" We have released it to you gradually, in order to fix it in your memory. We have recited it in a specific sequence.

Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyuqul li-azwajika in kuntunna turidna alhayataalddunya wazeenataha fataAAalaynaomattiAAkunna waosarrihkunna sarahan jameelanياايها النبي قل لازواجك ان كنتن تردن الحياة الدنيا وزينتها فتعالين امتعكن واسرحكن سراحا جميلا
[YA]: O Prophet! Say to thy Consorts: "If it be that ye desire the life of this World, and its glitter,- then come! I will provide for your enjoyment and set you free in a handsome manner.

[RK]:O prophet, say to your wives, "If you are seeking this life and its vanities, then let me compensate you and allow you to go amicably.

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooitha nakahtumu almu/minati thumma tallaqtumoohunnamin qabli an tamassoohunna fama lakum AAalayhinna minAAiddatin taAAtaddoonaha famattiAAoohunna wasarrihoohunnasarahan jameelanياايها الذين امنوا اذا نكحتم المؤمنات ثم طلقتموهن من قبل ان تمسوهن فمالكم عليهن من عدة تعتدونها فمتعوهن وسرحوهن سراحا جميلا
[YA]: O ye who believe! When ye marry believing women, and then divorce them before ye have touched them, no period of 'Iddat have ye to count in respect of them: so give them a present. And set them free in a handsome manner.

[RK]:O you who believe, if you married believing women, then divorced them before having intercourse with them, they do not owe you any waiting interim (before marrying another man). You shall compensate them equitably, and let them go amicably.

[YA]: Therefore do thou hold Patience,- a Patience of beautiful (contentment).

[RK]:Therefore, you shall resort to a gracious patience.

[YA]: And have patience with what they say, and leave them with noble (dignity).

[RK]:And remain steadfast in the face of their utterances, and disregard them in a nice manner.

[RK]:As yellow as the color of camels.
