[YA]: I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me. [RK]:I did not create the jinns and the humans except to worship Me alone. | ||||

[YA]: O ye assembly of Jinns and men! If it be ye can pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, pass ye! not without authority shall ye be able to pass! [RK]:O you jinns and humans, if you can penetrate the outer limits of the heavens and the earth, go ahead and penetrate. You cannot penetrate without authorization. | ||||

[YA]: On that Day no question will be asked of man or Jinn as to his sin. [RK]:On that day, no human, nor a jinn, will be asked about his sins. | ||||

[YA]: In them will be (Maidens), chaste, restraining their glances, whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- [RK]:Their beautiful mates were never touched by any human or jinn. | ||||

[RK]:They are like the devil: he says to the human being, "Disbelieve," then as soon as he disbelieves, he says, "I disown you. I fear GOD, Lord of the universe." | ||||

[YA]: Truly man was created very impatient;- [RK]:Indeed, the human being is anxious. | ||||

[YA]: 'But we do think that no man or spirit should say aught that untrue against Allah. [RK]:" `We thought that neither the humans, nor the jinns, could possibly utter lies about GOD. | ||||

[YA]: 'True, there were persons among mankind who took shelter with persons among the Jinns, but they increased them in folly. [RK]:" `Human beings used to seek power through jinn beings, but they only afflicted them with a lot of adversity. | ||||

[YA]: Does man think that We cannot assemble his bones? [RK]:Does the human being think that we will not reconstruct his bones? | ||||

[YA]: But man wishes to do wrong (even) in the time in front of him. [RK]:But the human being tends to believe only what he sees in front of him. | ||||

[YA]: That Day will Man say: "Where is the refuge?" [RK]:The human being will say on that day, "Where is the escape?" | ||||

[YA]: That Day will Man be told (all) that he put forward, and all that he put back. [RK]:The human being will be informed, on that day, of everything he did to advance himself, and everything he did to regress himself. | ||||

[YA]: Nay, man will be evidence against himself, [RK]:The human being will be his own judge. | ||||

[YA]: Does man think that he will be left uncontrolled, (without purpose)? [RK]:Does the human being think that he will go to nothing? | ||||

[YA]: Has there not been over Man a long period of Time, when he was nothing - (not even) mentioned? [RK]:Is it not a fact that there was a time when the human being was nothing to be mentioned? | ||||

[YA]: Verily We created Man from a drop of mingled sperm, in order to try him: So We gave him (the gifts), of Hearing and Sight. [RK]:We created the human from a liquid mixture, from two parents, in order to test him. Thus, we made him a hearer and a seer. | ||||

[YA]: The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, [RK]:That is the day when the human will remember everything he did. | ||||

[YA]: O thou man! Verily thou art ever toiling on towards thy Lord- painfully toiling,- but thou shalt meet Him. [RK]:O humans, you are irreversibly heading for a meeting with your Lord. | ||||

[YA]: Now let man but think from what he is created! [RK]:Let the human reflect on his creation. | ||||

[YA]: Now, as for man, when his Lord trieth him, giving him honour and gifts, then saith he, (puffed up), "My Lord hath honoured me." [RK]:When the human being is tested by his Lord, through blessings and joy, he says, "My Lord is generous towards me." | ||||

[YA]: And Hell, that Day, is brought (face to face),- on that Day will man remember, but how will that remembrance profit him? [RK]:On that day, Gehenna will be brought forth. On that day, the human being will remember - but what a remembrance - it will be too late. | ||||

[YA]: Verily We have created man into toil and struggle. [RK]:We created the human being to work hard (to redeem himself). | ||||
