Wawaritha sulaymanu dawoodawaqala ya ayyuha alnnasuAAullimna mantiqa alttayri waooteenamin kulli shay-in inna hatha lahuwa alfadlualmubeenuوورث سليمان داود وقال ياايها الناس علمنا منطق الطير واوتينا من كل شئ ان هذا لهو الفضل المبين
[YA]: And Solomon was David's heir. He said: "O ye people! We have been taught the speech of birds, and on us has been bestowed (a little) of all things: this is indeed Grace manifest (from Allah.)"

[RK]:Solomon was David's heir. He said, "O people, we have been endowed with understanding the language of the birds, and all kinds of things have been bestowed upon us. This is indeed a real blessing."

Wahushira lisulaymanajunooduhu mina aljinni waal-insi waalttayrifahum yoozaAAoonaوحشر لسليمان جنوده من الجن والانس والطير فهم يوزعون
[YA]: And before Solomon were marshalled his hosts,- of Jinns and men and birds, and they were all kept in order and ranks.

[RK]:Mobilized in the service of Solomon were his obedient soldiers of jinns and humans, as well as the birds; all at his disposal.

Watafaqqada alttayra faqalama liya la ara alhudhuda am kana minaalgha-ibeenaوتفقد الطير فقال مالي لااري الهدهد ام كان من الغائبين
[YA]: And he took a muster of the Birds; and he said: "Why is it I see not the Hoopoe? Or is he among the absentees?

[RK]:He inspected the birds, and noted: "Why do I not see the hoopoe? Why is he missing?

Walaqad atayna dawoodaminna fadlan ya jibalu awwibeemaAAahu waalttayra waalanna lahu alhadeedaولقد اتينا داود منا فضلا ياجبال اوبي معه والطير والنا له الحديد
[YA]: We bestowed Grace aforetime on David from ourselves: "O ye Mountains! Sing ye back the Praises of Allah with him! and ye birds (also)! And We made the iron soft for him;-

[RK]:We endowed David with blessings from us: "O mountains, submit with him, and you too, O birds." We softened the iron for him.

Laqad kana lisaba-in fee maskanihim ayatunjannatani AAan yameenin washimalin kuloo min rizqirabbikum waoshkuroo lahu baldatun tayyibatunwarabbun ghafoorunلقد كان لسبا في مسكنهم اية جنتان عن يمين وشمال كلوا من رزق ربكم واشكروا له بلدة طيبة ورب غفور
[YA]: There was, for Saba, aforetime, a Sign in their home-land - two Gardens to the right and to the left. "Eat of the Sustenance (provided) by your Lord, and be grateful to Him: a territory fair and happy, and a Lord Oft-Forgiving!

[RK]:Sheba's homeland used to be a marvel, with two gardens on the right and the left. Eat from your Lord's provisions, and be appreciative of Him - good land, and a forgiving Lord.

Man kana yureedu alAAizzata falillahialAAizzatu jameeAAan ilayhi yasAAadu alkalimu alttayyibuwaalAAamalu alssalihu yarfaAAuhu waallatheenayamkuroona alssayyi-ati lahum AAathabunshadeedun wamakru ola-ika huwa yabooruمن كان يريد العزة فلله العزة جميعا اليه يصعد الكلم الطيب والعمل الصالح يرفعه والذين يمكرون السيئات لهم عذاب شديد ومكر اولئك هو يبور
[YA]: If any do seek for glory and power,- to Allah belong all glory and power. To Him mount up (all) Words of Purity: It is He Who exalts each Deed of Righteousness. Those that lay Plots of Evil,- for them is a Penalty terrible; and the plotting of such will be void (of result).

[RK]:Anyone seeking dignity should know that to GOD belongs all dignity. To Him ascends the good words, and He exalts the righteous works. As for those who scheme evil works, they incur severe retribution; the scheming of such people is destined to fail.

[YA]: And the birds gathered (in assemblies): all with him did turn (to Allah).

[RK]:Also the birds were committed to serve him; all were obedient to him.

Waseeqa allatheena ittaqaw rabbahumila aljannati zumaran hatta itha jaoohawafutihat abwabuha waqala lahumkhazanatuha salamun AAalaykum tibtum faodkhuloohakhalideenaوسيق الذين اتقوا ربهم الي الجنة زمرا حتي اذا جاؤوها وفتحت ابوابها وقال لهم خزنتها سلام عليكم طبتم فادخلوها خالدين
[YA]: And those who feared their Lord will be led to the Garden in crowds: until behold, they arrive there; its gates will be opened; and its keepers will say: "Peace be upon you! well have ye done! enter ye here, to dwell therein."

[RK]:Those who reverenced their Lord will be led to Paradise in throngs. When they get to it, and its gates are opened, its guards will say, "Peace be upon you; you have won. Therefore, you abide herein forever."

Allahu allathee jaAAala lakumual-arda qararan waalssamaa binaanwasawwarakum faahsana suwarakum warazaqakummina alttayyibati thalikumu Allahurabbukum fatabaraka Allahu rabbu alAAalameenaالله الذي جعل لكم الارض قرارا والسماء بناء وصوركم فاحسن صوركم ورزقكم من الطيبات ذلكم الله ربكم فتبارك الله رب العالمين
[YA]: It is Allah Who has made for you the earth as a resting place, and the sky as a canopy, and has given you shape- and made your shapes beautiful,- and has provided for you Sustenance, of things pure and good;- such is Allah your Lord. So Glory to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds!

[RK]:GOD is the One who rendered the earth habitable for you, and the sky a formidable structure, and He designed you, and designed you well. He is the One who provides you with good provisions. Such is GOD your Lord; Most Exalted is GOD, Lord of the universe.

Walaqad atayna banee isra-eelaalkitaba waalhukma waalnnubuwwatawarazaqnahum mina alttayyibati wafaddalnahumAAala alAAalameenaولقد اتينا بني اسرائيل الكتاب والحكم والنبوة ورزقناهم من الطيبات وفضلناهم علي العالمين
[YA]: We did aforetime grant to the Children of Israel the Book the Power of Command, and Prophethood; We gave them, for Sustenance, things good and pure; and We favoured them above the nations.

[RK]:We have given the Children of Israel the scripture, wisdom, and prophethood, and provided them with good provisions; we bestowed upon them more blessings than any other people.

Wayawma yuAAradu allatheenakafaroo AAala alnnari athhabtum tayyibatikumfee hayatikumu alddunya waistamtaAAtumbiha faalyawma tujzawna AAathaba alhooni bimakuntum tastakbiroona fee al-ardi bighayri alhaqqiwabima kuntum tafsuqoonaويوم يعرض الذين كفروا علي النار اذهبتم طيباتكم في حياتكم الدنيا واستمتعتم بها فاليوم تجزون عذاب الهون بما كنتم تستكبرون في الارض بغير الحق وبما كنتم تفسقون
[YA]: And on the Day that the Unbelievers will be placed before the Fire, (It will be said to them): "Ye received your good things in the life of the world, and ye took your pleasure out of them: but today shall ye be recompensed with a Penalty of humiliation: for that ye were arrogant on earth without just cause, and that ye (ever) transgressed."

[RK]:The day will come when those who disbelieved will be introduced to the hellfire: "You have wasted the good chances given to you during your worldly life, and you rejoiced in them. Consequently, today you incur a shameful retribution as a requital for the arrogance you committed on earth without any basis, and for your evil works."

Yaghfir lakum thunoobakumwayudkhilkum jannatin tajree min tahtihaal-anharu wamasakina tayyibatan fee jannatiAAadnin thalika alfawzu alAAatheemuيغفر لكم ذنوبكم ويدخلكم جنات تجري من تحتها الانهار ومساكن طيبة في جنات عدن ذلك الفوز العظيم
[YA]: He will forgive you your sins, and admit you to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, and to beautiful mansions in Gardens of Eternity: that is indeed the Supreme Achievement.

[RK]:In return, He forgives your sins, and admits you into gardens with flowing streams, with beautiful mansions in the gardens of Eden. This is the greatest triumph.

Awa lam yaraw ila alttayrifawqahum saffatin wayaqbidna mayumsikuhunna illa alrrahmanu innahubikulli shay-in baseerunاولم يروا الي الطير فوقهم صافات ويقبضن مايمسكهن الا الرحمن انه بكل شي بصير
[YA]: Do they not observe the birds above them, spreading their wings and folding them in? None can uphold them except (Allah) Most Gracious: Truly (Allah) Most Gracious: Truly it is He that watches over all things.

[RK]:Have they not seen the birds above them lined up in columns and spreading their wings? The Most Gracious is the One who holds them in the air. He is Seer of all things.
