[YA]: Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those before them? They were superior to them in strength: they tilled the soil and populated it in greater numbers than these have done: there came to them their messengers with Clear (Signs). (Which they rejected, to their own destruction): It was not Allah Who wronged them, but they wronged their own souls. [RK]:Have they not roamed the earth and noted the consequences for those who preceded them? They used to be more powerful, more prosperous, and more productive on earth. Their messengers went to them with clear signs. Consequently, GOD was not the One who wronged them; they are the ones who wronged their own souls.
52 | [30:42] Line:3451 |
| ||
[YA]: Say: "Travel through the earth and see what was the end of those before (you): Most of them worshipped others besides Allah." [RK]:Say, "Roam the earth and note the consequences for those before you." Most of them were idol worshipers.

[YA]: It is Allah Who sends the Winds, and they raise the Clouds: then does He spread them in the sky as He wills, and break them into fragments, until thou seest rain-drops issue from the midst thereof: then when He has made them reach such of his servants as He wills behold, they do rejoice!- [RK]:GOD is the One who sends the winds, to stir up clouds, to be spread throughout the sky in accordance with His will. He then piles the clouds up, then you see the rain coming down therefrom. When it falls on whomever He chooses from among His servants, they rejoice.
54 | [30:50] Line:3459 |

[YA]: Then contemplate (O man!) the memorials of Allah's Mercy!- how He gives life to the earth after its death: verily the same will give life to the men who are dead: for He has power over all things. [RK]:You shall appreciate GOD's continuous mercy, and how He revives the land that has been dead. He will just as certainly resurrect the dead. He is Omnipotent.
55 | [34:45] Line:3651 |
| ||
[YA]: And their predecessors rejected (the Truth); these have not received a tenth of what We had granted to those: yet when they rejected My messengers, how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)! [RK]:Those before them disbelieved, and even though they did not see one-tenth of (the miracle) we have given to this generation, when they disbelieved My messengers, how severe was My retribution!
56 | [35:26] Line:3686 |
| ||
[YA]: In the end did I punish those who rejected Faith: and how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)! [RK]:Subsequently, I punished those who disbelieved; how terrible was My retribution!
57 | [35:44] Line:3704 |
| ||
[YA]: Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the End of those before them,- though they were superior to them in strength? Nor is Allah to be frustrated by anything whatever in the heavens or on earth: for He is All-Knowing. All-Powerful. [RK]:Have they not roamed the earth and noted the consequences for those who preceded them? They were even stronger than they. Nothing can be hidden from GOD in the heavens, nor on earth. He is Omniscient, Omnipotent.
58 | [37:73] Line:3861 |
| ||
[YA]: Then see what was the end of those who were admonished (but heeded not),- [RK]:Note the consequences for those who have been warned.
59 | [37:154] Line:3942 |
| ||
[YA]: What is the matter with you? How judge ye? [RK]:What is wrong with your logic?
60 | [40:5] Line:4138 |
| ||
[YA]: But (there were people) before them, who denied (the Signs),- the People of Noah, and the Confederates (of Evil) after them; and every People plotted against their prophet, to seize him, and disputed by means of vanities, therewith to condemn the Truth; but it was I that seized them! and how (terrible) was My Requital! [RK]:Disbelieving before them were the people of Noah, and many other opponents after them. Every community persecuted their messenger to neutralize him. And they argued with falsehood, to defeat the truth. Consequently, I punished them; how terrible was My retribution!
61 | [40:21] Line:4154 |
| ||
[YA]: Do they not travel through the earth and see what was the End of those before them? They were even superior to them in strength, and in the traces (they have left) in the land: but Allah did call them to account for their sins, and none had they to defend them against Allah. [RK]:Did they not roam the earth and note the consequences for those before them? They used to be stronger than they, and more productive on earth. But GOD punished them for their sins, and nothing could protect them from GOD.
62 | [40:82] Line:4215 |
| ||
[YA]: Do they not travel through the earth and see what was the End of those before them? They were more numerous than these and superior in strength and in the traces (they have left) in the land: Yet all that they accomplished was of no profit to them. [RK]:Have they not roamed the earth and noted the consequences for those who preceded them? They used to be greater in number, greater in power, and possessed a greater legacy on earth. Yet, all their achievements did not help them in the least.
63 | [43:25] Line:4350 |
| ||
[YA]: So We exacted retribution from them: now see what was the end of those who rejected (Truth)! [RK]:Consequently, we requited them. Note the consequences for the rejectors.
64 | [47:10] Line:4555 |
| ||
[YA]: Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the End of those before them (who did evil)? Allah brought utter destruction on them, and similar (fates await) those who reject Allah. [RK]:Did they not roam the earth and see the consequences for those before them? GOD destroyed their works; all disbelievers will suffer the same fate.
65 | [47:27] Line:4572 |
| ||
[YA]: But how (will it be) when the angels take their souls at death, and smite their faces and their backs? [RK]:How will it be for them when the angels put them to death? They will beat them on their faces and their rear ends.
66 | [50:6] Line:4636 |
| ||
[YA]: Do they not look at the sky above them?- How We have made it and adorned it, and there are no flaws in it? [RK]:Have they not looked at the sky above them, and how we constructed it and adorned it, without a flaw?

69 | [54:21] Line:4867 |
| ||
[YA]: Yea, how (terrible) was My Penalty and My Warning! [RK]:How terrible was My retribution after the warnings!
70 | [54:30] Line:4876 |

[RK]:Have you guaranteed that the One in heaven will not send upon you a violent storm? Will you then appreciate the value of My warning?
72 | [67:18] Line:5259 |
| ||
[YA]: But indeed men before them rejected (My warning): then how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)? [RK]:Others before them have disbelieved; how terrible was My requital!
73 | [68:36] Line:5307 |
