[YA]: He said: "We will certainly strengthen thy arm through thy brother, and invest you both with authority, so they shall not be able to touch you: with Our Sign shall ye triumph,- you two as well as those who follow you." [RK]:He said, "We will strengthen you with your brother, and we will provide you both with manifest authority. Thus, they will not be able to touch either one of you. With our miracles, the two of you, together with those who follow you, will be the victors." | ||||

[YA]: Nor canst thou lead back the blind from their straying: only those wilt thou make to hear, who believe in Our signs and submit (their wills in Islam). [RK]:Nor can you guide the blind out of their straying. You can only be heard by those who believe in our revelations, and decide to become submitters. | ||||

[YA]: They will say, "Glory to Thee! our (tie) is with Thee - as Protector - not with them. Nay, but they worshipped the Jinns: most of them believed in them." [RK]:They will answer, "Be You glorified. You are our Lord and Master, not them. Instead, they were worshipping the jinns; most of them were believers therein." | ||||

[YA]: Nor are alike those that are living and those that are dead. Allah can make any that He wills to hear; but thou canst not make those to hear who are (buried) in graves. [RK]:Nor are the living and the dead; GOD causes whomever He wills to hear. You cannot make hearers out of those in the graves. | ||||

[YA]: He said, "O my Lord! Forgive me, and grant me a kingdom which, (it may be), suits not another after me: for Thou art the Grantor of Bounties (without measure). [RK]:He said, "My Lord, forgive me, and grant me a kingship never attained by anyone else. You are the Grantor." | ||||

[YA]: Is, then, one against whom the decree of Punishment is justly due (equal to one who eschews Evil)? Wouldst thou, then, deliver one (who is) in the Fire? [RK]:With regard to those who have deserved the retribution, can you save those who are already in Hell? | ||||

[YA]: Verily We have revealed the Book to thee in Truth, for (instructing) mankind. He, then, that receives guidance benefits his own soul: but he that strays injures his own soul. Nor art thou set over them to dispose of their affairs. [RK]:We have revealed the scripture through you for the people, truthfully. Then, whoever is guided is guided for his own good, and whoever goes astray goes astray to his own detriment. You are not their advocate. | ||||

[YA]: Say: "O Allah! Creator of the heavens and the earth! Knower of all that is hidden and open! it is Thou that wilt judge between Thy Servants in those matters about which they have differed." [RK]:Proclaim: "Our god, Initiator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of all secrets and declarations, You are the only One who judges among Your servants regarding their disputes." | ||||

[YA]: "And grant, our Lord! that they enter the Gardens of Eternity, which Thou hast promised to them, and to the righteous among their fathers, their wives, and their posterity! For Thou art (He), the Exalted in Might, Full of Wisdom. [RK]:"Our Lord, and admit them into the gardens of Eden that You promised for them and for the righteous among their parents, spouses, and children. You are the Almighty, Most Wise. | ||||

[YA]: And those who take as protectors others besides Him,- Allah doth watch over them; and thou art not the disposer of their affairs. [RK]:Those who set up other lords beside Him, GOD is the One in charge of them; you are not their advocate. | ||||

[YA]: Canst thou then make the deaf to hear, or give direction to the blind or to such as (wander) in manifest error? [RK]:Can you make the deaf hear; can you make the blind see, or those who are far astray? | ||||

[YA]: "Taste thou (this)! Truly wast thou mighty, full of honour! [RK]:"Taste this; you were so powerful, so honorable." | ||||

[YA]: We know best what they say; and thou art not one to overawe them by force. So admonish with the Qur'an such as fear My Warning! [RK]:We are fully aware of everything they utter, while you have no power over them. Therefore, remind with this Quran, those who reverence My warnings. | ||||

[YA]: So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. [RK]:You may disregard them; you cannot be blamed. | ||||

[YA]: Therefore proclaim thou the praises (of thy Lord): for by the Grace of thy Lord, thou art no (vulgar) soothsayer, nor art thou one possessed. [RK]:You shall remind the people. With your Lord's blessing's upon you, you are neither a soothsayer, nor crazy. | ||||

[YA]: "Our Lord! Make us not a (test and) trial for the Unbelievers, but forgive us, our Lord! for Thou art the Exalted in Might, the Wise." [RK]:"Our Lord, let us not be oppressed by those who disbelieved, and forgive us. You are the Almighty, Most Wise." | ||||
