Qul aghayra Allahi attakhithuwaliyyan fatiri alssamawati waal-ardiwahuwa yutAAimu wala yutAAamu qul inneeomirtu an akoona awwala man aslama wala takoonanna minaalmushrikeena

قل اغير الله اتخذ وليا فاطر السماوات والارض وهو يطعم ولايطعم قل اني امرت ان اكون اول من اسلم ولاتكونن من المشركين

[YA]: Say: "Shall I take for my protector any other than Allah, the Maker of the heavens and the earth? And He it is that feedeth but is not fed." Say: "Nay! but I am commanded to be the first of those who bow to Allah (in Islam), and be not thou of the company of those who join gods with Allah."

[RK]:Say, "Shall I accept other than GOD as a Lord and Master, when He is the Initiator of the heavens and the earth, and He feeds but is not fed?" Say, "I am commanded to be the most devoted submitter, and, `Do not be an idol worshiper.' "

Innee wajjahtu wajhiya lillathee fataraalssamawati waal-arda haneefanwama ana mina almushrikeena

اني وجهت وجهي للذي فطر السماوات والارض حنيفا وماانا من المشركين

[YA]: "For me, I have set my face, firmly and truly, towards Him Who created the heavens and the earth, and never shall I give partners to Allah."

[RK]:"I have devoted myself absolutely to the One who initiated the heavens and the earth; I will never be an idol worshiper."

Ya qawmi la as-alukum AAalayhiajran in ajriya illa AAala allathee fataraneeafala taAAqiloona

ياقوم لااسالكم عليه اجرا ان اجري الا علي الذي فطرني افلا تعقلون

[YA]: "O my people! I ask of you no reward for this (Message). My reward is from none but Him who created me: Will ye not then understand?

[RK]:O my people, I do not ask you for any wage. My wage comes only from the One who initiated me. Do you not understand?

Rabbi qad ataytanee mina almulkiwaAAallamtanee min ta/weeli al-ahadeethi fatira alssamawatiwaal-ardi anta waliyyee fee alddunyawaal-akhirati tawaffanee musliman waalhiqneebialssaliheena

رب قد اتيتني من الملك وعلمتني من تاويل الاحاديث فاطر السماوات والارض انت ولي في الدنيا والاخرة توفني مسلما والحقني بالصالحين

[YA]: "O my Lord! Thou hast indeed bestowed on me some power, and taught me something of the interpretation of dreams and events,- O Thou Creator of the heavens and the earth! Thou art my Protector in this world and in the Hereafter. Take Thou my soul (at death) as one submitting to Thy will (as a Muslim), and unite me with the righteous."

[RK]:"My Lord, You have given me kingship and taught me the interpretation of dreams. Initiator of the heavens and the earth; You are my Lord and Master in this life and in the Hereafter. Let me die as a submitter, and count me with the righteous."

Qalat rusuluhum afee Allahishakkun fatiri alssamawati waal-ardiyadAAookum liyaghfira lakum min thunoobikumwayu-akhkhirakum ila ajalin musamman qaloo in antumilla basharun mithluna tureedoona an tasuddoonaAAamma kana yaAAbudu abaonafa/toona bisultanin mubeenin

قالت رسلهم افي الله شك فاطر السماوات والارض يدعوكم ليغفر لكم من ذنوبكم ويؤخركم الي اجل مسمي قالوا ان انتم الا بشر مثلنا تريدون ان تصدونا عما كان يعبد اباؤنا فاتونا بسلطان مبين

[YA]: Their messengers said: "Is there a doubt about Allah, The Creator of the heavens and the earth? It is He Who invites you, in order that He may forgive you your sins and give you respite for a term appointed!" They said: "Ah! ye are no more than human, like ourselves! Ye wish to turn us away from the (gods) our fathers used to worship: then bring us some clear authority."

[RK]:Their messengers said, "Do you have doubts about GOD; the Initiator of the heavens and the earth? He invites you only to forgive your sins, and to give you another chance to redeem yourselves." They said, "You are no more than humans like us, who want to repel us from the way our parents used to worship. Show us some profound authority."

Aw khalqan mimma yakburu fee sudoorikumfasayaqooloona man yuAAeeduna quli allathee fatarakumawwala marratin fasayunghidoona ilayka ruoosahumwayaqooloona mata huwa qul AAasa an yakoona qareeban

او خلقا مما يكبر في صدوركم فسيقولون من يعيدنا قل الذي فطركم اول مرة فسينغضون اليك رؤوسهم ويقولون متي هو قل عسي ان يكون قريبا

[YA]: "Or created matter which, in your minds, is hardest (to be raised up),- (Yet shall ye be raised up)!" then will they say: "Who will cause us to return?" Say: "He who created you first!" Then will they wag their heads towards thee, and say, "When will that be?" Say, "May be it will be quite soon!

[RK]:"Even if you turn into any kind of creation that you deem impossible." They will then say, "Who will bring us back?" Say, "The One who created you in the first place." They will then shake their heads and say, "When will that be?" Say, "It may be closer than you think."

Takadu alssamawatuyatafattarna minhu watanshaqqu al-ardu watakhirrualjibalu haddan

تكاد السماوات يتفطرن منه وتنشق الارض وتخر الجبال هدا

[YA]: At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin,

[RK]:The heavens are about to shatter, the earth is about to tear asunder, and the mountains are about to crumble.

Qaloo lan nu/thiraka AAala majaana mina albayyinati waallatheefatarana faiqdi ma anta qadininnama taqdee hathihi alhayataalddunya

قالوا لن نؤثرك علي ماجاءنا من البينات والذي فطرنا فاقض ماانت قاض انما تقضي هذه الحياة الدنيا

[YA]: They said: "Never shall we regard thee as more than the Clear Signs that have come to us, or than Him Who created us! so decree whatever thou desirest to decree: for thou canst only decree (touching) the life of this world.

[RK]:They said, "We will not prefer you over the clear proofs that came to us, and over the One who created us. Therefore, issue whatever judgment you wish to issue. You can only rule in this lowly life.

Qala bal rabbukum rabbu alssamawatiwaal-ardi allathee fatarahunna waanaAAala thalikum mina alshshahideena

قال بل ربكم رب السماوات والارض الذي فطرهن وانا علي ذلكم من الشاهدين

[YA]: He said, "Nay, your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, He Who created them (from nothing): and I am a witness to this (Truth).

[RK]:He said, "Your only Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, who created them. This is the testimony to which I bear witness.

Faaqim wajhaka lilddeeni haneefanfitrata Allahi allatee fatara alnnasaAAalayha la tabdeela likhalqi Allahi thalikaalddeenu alqayyimu walakinna akthara alnnasila yaAAlamoona

فاقم وجهك للدين حنيفا فطرة الله التي فطر الناس عليها لاتبديل لخلق الله ذلك الدين القيم ولكن اكثر الناس لايعلمون

[YA]: So set thou thy face steadily and truly to the Faith: (establish) Allah's handiwork according to the pattern on which He has made mankind: no change (let there be) in the work (wrought) by Allah: that is the standard Religion: but most among mankind understand not.

[RK]:Therefore, you shall devote yourself to the religion of strict monotheism. Such is the natural instinct placed into the people by GOD. Such creation of GOD will never change. This is the perfect religion, but most people do not know.

الحمد لله فاطر السماوات والارض جاعل الملائكة رسلا اولي اجنحة مثني وثلاث ورباع يزيد في الخلق مايشاء ان الله علي كل شئ قدير

[YA]: Praise be to Allah, Who created (out of nothing) the heavens and the earth, Who made the angels, messengers with wings,- two, or three, or four (pairs): He adds to Creation as He pleases: for Allah has power over all things.

[RK]:Praise be to GOD, Initiator of the heavens and the earth, and appointer of the angels to be messengers with wings - two, three, and four (wings). He increases the creation as He wills. GOD is Omnipotent.

Wama liya la aAAbudu allatheefataranee wa-ilayhi turjaAAoona

ومالي لااعبد الذي فطرني واليه ترجعون

[YA]: "It would not be reasonable in me if I did not serve Him Who created me, and to Whom ye shall (all) be brought back.

[RK]:"Why should I not worship the One who initiated me, and to Him is your ultimate return?

Quli allahumma fatira alssamawatiwaal-ardi AAalima alghaybi waalshshahadatianta tahkumu bayna AAibadika fee ma kanoofeehi yakhtalifoona

قل اللهم فاطر السماوات والارض عالم الغيب والشهادة انت تحكم بين عبادك في ماكانوا فيه يختلفون

[YA]: Say: "O Allah! Creator of the heavens and the earth! Knower of all that is hidden and open! it is Thou that wilt judge between Thy Servants in those matters about which they have differed."

[RK]:Proclaim: "Our god, Initiator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of all secrets and declarations, You are the only One who judges among Your servants regarding their disputes."

Takadu alssamawatuyatafattarna min fawqihinna waalmala-ikatuyusabbihoona bihamdi rabbihim wayastaghfiroonaliman fee al-ardi ala inna Allaha huwaalghafooru alrraheemu

تكاد السماوات يتفطرن من فوقهن والملائكة يسبحون بحمد ربهم ويستغفرون لمن في الارض الا ان الله هو الغفور الرحيم

[YA]: The heavens are almost rent asunder from above them (by Him Glory): and the angels celebrate the Praises of their Lord, and pray for forgiveness for (all) beings on earth: Behold! Verily Allah is He, the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

[RK]:The heavens above them almost shatter, out of reverence for Him, and the angels praise and glorify their Lord, and they ask forgiveness for those on earth. Absolutely, GOD is the Forgiver, Most Merciful.

Fatiru alssamawatiwaal-ardi jaAAala lakum min anfusikum azwajanwamina al-anAAami azwajan yathraokum feehilaysa kamithlihi shay-on wahuwa alssameeAAu albaseeru

فاطر السماوات والارض جعل لكم من انفسكم ازواجا ومن الانعام ازواجا يذرؤكم فيه ليس كمثله شئ وهو السميع البصير

[YA]: (He is) the Creator of the heavens and the earth: He has made for you pairs from among yourselves, and pairs among cattle: by this means does He multiply you: there is nothing whatever like unto Him, and He is the One that hears and sees (all things).

[RK]:Initiator of the heavens and the earth. He created for you from among yourselves spouses - and also for the animals. He thus provides you with the means to multiply. There is nothing that equals Him. He is the Hearer, the Seer.

الا الذي فطرني فانه سيهدين

[YA]: "(I worship) only Him Who made me, and He will certainly guide me."

[RK]:"Only the One who initiated me can guide me."

Allathee khalaqa sabAAa samawatintibaqan ma tara fee khalqi alrrahmanimin tafawutin fairjiAAi albasara hal taramin futoorin

الذي خلق سبع سموات طباقا ماتري في خلق الرحمن من تفاوت فارجع البصر هل تري من فطور

[YA]: He Who created the seven heavens one above another: No want of proportion wilt thou see in the Creation of (Allah) Most Gracious. So turn thy vision again: seest thou any flaw?

[RK]:He created seven universes in layers. You do not see any imperfection in the creation by the Most Gracious. Keep looking; do you see any flaw?

اذا السماء انفطرت

[YA]: When the Sky is cleft asunder;

[RK]:When the heaven is shattered.
