[YA]: We have not instructed the (Prophet) in Poetry, nor is it meet for him: this is no less than a Message and a Qur'an making things clear: [RK]:What we taught him (the messenger) was not poetry, nor is he (a poet). This is but a formidable proof, and a profound Quran.
52 | [38:1] Line:3971 |
| ||
[YA]: Sad: By the Qur'an, Full of Admonition: (This is the Truth). [RK]:S. (Saad), and the Quran that contains the proof.

[YA]: The Unbelievers say: "Listen not to this Qur'an, but talk at random in the midst of its (reading), that ye may gain the upper hand!" [RK]:Those who disbelieved said, "Do not listen to this Quran and distort it, that you may win."
57 | [41:44] Line:4262 |
| ||
[YA]: Had We sent this as a Qur'an (in the language) other than Arabic, they would have said: "Why are not its verses explained in detail? What! (a Book) not in Arabic and (a Messenger an Arab?" Say: "It is a Guide and a Healing to those who believe; and for those who believe not, there is a deafness in their ears, and it is blindness in their (eyes): They are (as it were) being called from a place far distant!" [RK]:If we made it a non-Arabic Quran they would have said, "Why did it come down in that language?" Whether it is Arabic or non-Arabic, say, "For those who believe, it is a guide and healing. As for those who disbelieve, they will be deaf and blind to it, as if they are being addressed from faraway."
58 | [42:7] Line:4279 |

[YA]: Thus have We sent by inspiration to thee an Arabic Qur'an: that thou mayest warn the Mother of Cities and all around her,- and warn (them) of the Day of Assembly, of which there is no doubt: (when) some will be in the Garden, and some in the Blazing Fire. [RK]:We thus reveal to you an Arabic Quran to warn the central community and all around it, and to warn about the Day of Summoning that is inevitable. Some will end up in Heaven, and some in Hell.
59 | [43:3] Line:4328 |
| ||
[YA]: We have made it a Qur'an in Arabic, that ye may be able to understand (and learn wisdom). [RK]:We have rendered it an Arabic Quran, that you may understand.
60 | [43:31] Line:4356 |
| ||
[YA]: Also, they say: "Why is not this Qur'an sent down to some leading man in either of the two (chief) cities?" [RK]:They said, "If only this Quran was sent down through another man from the two communities (Mecca or Yathrib) who is prominent!"
61 | [46:29] Line:4539 |
| ||
[YA]: Behold, We turned towards thee a company of Jinns (quietly) listening to the Qur'an: when they stood in the presence thereof, they said, "Listen in silence!" When the (reading) was finished, they returned to their people, to warn (them of their sins). [RK]:Recall that we directed a number of jinns to you, in order to let them hear the Quran. When they got there, they said, "Listen." As soon as it was over, they rushed to their people, warning.
62 | [47:24] Line:4569 |
| ||
[YA]: Do they not then earnestly seek to understand the Qur'an, or are their hearts locked up by them? [RK]:Why do they not study the Quran carefully? Do they have locks on their minds?
63 | [50:1] Line:4631 |

[YA]: Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art Allah's Messenger). [RK]:Q., and the glorious Quran.
64 | [50:45] Line:4675 |
| ||
[YA]: We know best what they say; and thou art not one to overawe them by force. So admonish with the Qur'an such as fear My Warning! [RK]:We are fully aware of everything they utter, while you have no power over them. Therefore, remind with this Quran, those who reverence My warnings.
65 | [54:17] Line:4863 |
| ||
[YA]: And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition? [RK]:We made the Quran easy to learn. Does any of you wish to learn?
66 | [54:22] Line:4868 |
| ||
[YA]: But We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition? [RK]:We made the Quran easy to learn. Does any of you wish to learn?

71 | [59:21] Line:5147 |

[YA]: Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, verily, thou wouldst have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of Allah. Such are the similitudes which We propound to men, that they may reflect. [RK]:If we revealed this Quran to a mountain, you would see it trembling, crumbling, out of reverence for GOD. We cite these examples for the people, that they may reflect.

[YA]: Thy Lord doth know that thou standest forth (to prayer) nigh two-thirds of the night, or half the night, or a third of the night, and so doth a party of those with thee. But Allah doth appoint night and day in due measure He knoweth that ye are unable to keep count thereof. So He hath turned to you (in mercy): read ye, therefore, of the Qur'an as much as may be easy for you. He knoweth that there may be (some) among you in ill-health; others travelling through the land, seeking of Allah's bounty; yet others fighting in Allah's Cause, read ye, therefore, as much of the Qur'an as may be easy (for you); and establish regular Prayer and give regular Charity; and loan to Allah a Beautiful Loan. And whatever good ye send forth for your souls ye shall find it in Allah's Presence,- yea, better and greater, in Reward and seek ye the Grace of Allah: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. [RK]:Your Lord knows that you meditate during two-thirds of the night, or half of it, or one-third of it, and so do some of those who believed with you. GOD has designed the night and the day, and He knows that you cannot always do this. He has pardoned you. Instead, you shall read what you can of the Quran. He knows that some of you may be ill, others may be traveling in pursuit of GOD's provisions, and others may be striving in the cause of GOD. You shall read what you can of it, and observe the contact prayers (Salat), give the obligatory charity (Zakat), and lend GOD a loan of righteousness. Whatever good you send ahead on behalf of your souls, you will find it at GOD far better and generously rewarded. And implore GOD for forgiveness. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.
