Wala taqraboo mala alyateemiilla biallatee hiya ahsanu hattayablugha ashuddahu waawfoo bialAAahdi inna alAAahda kanamas-oolanولاتقربوا مال اليتيم الا بالتي هي احسن حتي يبلغ اشده واوفوا بالعهد ان العهد كان مسؤولا
[YA]: Come not nigh to the orphan's property except to improve it, until he attains the age of full strength; and fulfil (every) engagement, for (every) engagement will be enquired into (on the Day of Reckoning).

[RK]:You shall not touch the orphans' money except for their own good, until they reach maturity. You shall fulfill your covenants, for a covenant is a great responsibility.

[YA]: Give full measure when ye measure, and weigh with a balance that is straight: that is the most fitting and the most advantageous in the final determination.

[RK]:You shall give full measure when you trade, and weigh equitably. This is better and more righteous.

Waqul liAAibadee yaqooloo allateehiya ahsanu inna alshshaytana yanzaghubaynahum inna alshshaytana kana lil-insaniAAaduwwan mubeenanوقل لعبادي يقولوا التي هي احسن ان الشيطان ينزغ بينهم ان الشيطان كان للانسان عدوا مبينا
[YA]: Say to My servants that they should (only) say those things that are best: for Satan doth sow dissensions among them: For Satan is to man an avowed enemy.

[RK]:Tell My servants to treat each other in the best possible manner, for the devil will always try to drive a wedge among them. Surely, the devil is man's most ardent enemy.

Quli odAAoo Allaha awi odAAoo alrrahmanaayyan ma tadAAoo falahu al-asmao alhusnawala tajhar bisalatika wala tukhafitbiha waibtaghi bayna thalika sabeelanقل ادعوا الله اوادعوا الرحمن ايا ماتدعوا فله الاسماء الحسني ولاتجهر بصلاتك ولاتخافت بها وابتغ بين ذلك سبيلا
[YA]: Say: "Call upon Allah, or call upon Rahman: by whatever name ye call upon Him, (it is well): for to Him belong the Most Beautiful Names. Neither speak thy Prayer aloud, nor speak it in a low tone, but seek a middle course between."

[RK]:Say, "Call Him GOD, or call Him the Most Gracious; whichever name you use, to Him belongs the best names." You shall not utter your Contact Prayers (Salat) too loudly, nor secretly; use a moderate tone.

Qayyiman liyunthira ba/san shadeedanmin ladunhu wayubashshira almu/mineena allatheenayaAAmaloona alssalihati anna lahum ajran hasananقيما لينذر باسا شديدا من لدنه ويبشر المؤمنين الذين يعملون الصالحات ان لهم اجرا حسنا
[YA]: (He hath made it) Straight (and Clear) in order that He may warn (the godless) of a terrible Punishment from Him, and that He may give Glad Tidings to the Believers who work righteous deeds, that they shall have a goodly Reward,

[RK]:A perfect (scripture) to warn of severe retribution from Him, and to deliver good news to the believers who lead a righteous life, that they have earned a generous recompense.

Inna jaAAalna ma AAalaal-ardi zeenatan laha linabluwahum ayyuhum ahsanuAAamalanانا جعلنا ماعلي الارض زينة لها لنبلوهم ايهم احسن عملا
[YA]: That which is on earth we have made but as a glittering show for the earth, in order that We may test them - as to which of them are best in conduct.

[RK]:We have adorned everything on earth, in order to test them, and thus distinguish those among them who work righteousness.

Inna allatheena amanoowaAAamiloo alssalihati inna lanudeeAAu ajra man ahsana AAamalanان الذين امنوا وعملوا الصالحات انا لانضيع اجر من احسن عملا
[YA]: As to those who believe and work righteousness, verily We shall not suffer to perish the reward of any who do a (single) righteous deed.

[RK]:As for those who believe and lead a righteous life, we never fail to recompense those who work righteousness.

Ola-ika lahum jannatu AAadnintajree min tahtihimu al-anharu yuhallawnafeeha min asawira min thahabin wayalbasoonathiyaban khudran min sundusin wa-istabraqinmuttaki-eena feeha AAala al-ara-iki niAAma alththawabuwahasunat murtafaqanاولئك لهم جنات عدن تجري من تحتهم الانهار يحلون فيها من اساور من ذهب ويلبسون ثيابا خضرا من سندس واستبرق متكئين فيها علي الارائك نعم الثواب وحسنت مرتفقا
[YA]: For them will be Gardens of Eternity; beneath them rivers will flow; they will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold, and they will wear green garments of fine silk and heavy brocade: They will recline therein on raised thrones. How good the recompense! How beautiful a couch to recline on!

[RK]:They have deserved gardens of Eden wherein rivers flow. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold, and will wear clothes of green silk and velvet, and will rest on comfortable furnishings. What a wonderful reward; what a wonderful abode!

Hatta itha balaghamaghriba alshshamsi wajadaha taghrubu fee AAaynin hami-atinwawajada AAindaha qawman qulna ya thaalqarnayni imma an tuAAaththiba wa-imma antattakhitha feehim husnanحتي اذا بلغ مغرب الشمس وجدها تغرب في عين حمئة ووجد عندها قوما قلنا ياذا القرنين اما ان تعذب واما ان تتخذ فيهم حسنا
[YA]: Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it set in a spring of murky water: Near it he found a People: We said: "O Zul-qarnain! (thou hast authority,) either to punish them, or to treat them with kindness."

[RK]:When he reached the far west, he found the sun setting in a vast ocean, and found people there. We said, "O Zul-Qarnain, you can rule as you wish; either punish, or be kind to them."

Waamma man amana waAAamila salihanfalahu jazaan alhusna wasanaqoolu lahu minamrina yusranواما من امن وعمل صالحا فله جزاء الحسني وسنقول له من امرنا يسرا
[YA]: "But whoever believes, and works righteousness,- he shall have a goodly reward, and easy will be his task as We order it by our Command."

[RK]:"As for those who believe and lead a righteous life, they receive a good reward; we will treat them kindly."

[YA]: "Those whose efforts have been wasted in this life, while they thought that they were acquiring good by their works?"

[RK]:"They are the ones whose works in this life are totally astray, but they think that they are doing good."

Wa-itha tutla AAalayhim ayatunabayyinatin qala allatheena kafaroo lillatheenaamanoo ayyu alfareeqayni khayrun maqaman waahsanunadiyyanواذا تتلي عليهم اياتنا بينات قال الذين كفروا للذين امنوا اي الفريقين خير مقاما واحسن نديا
[YA]: When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?"

[RK]:When our revelations are recited to them, clearly, those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Which of us is more prosperous? Which of us is in the majority?"

Wakam ahlakna qablahum min qarnin humahsanu athathan wari/yanوكم اهلكنا قبلهم من قرن هم احسن اثاثا ورئيا
[YA]: But how many (countless) generations before them have we destroyed, who were even better in equipment and in glitter to the eye?

[RK]:Many a generation have we annihilated before them; they were more powerful, and more prosperous.

[YA]: Allah! there is no god but He! To Him belong the most Beautiful Names.

[RK]:GOD: there is no other god besides Him. To Him belong the most beautiful names.

[YA]: So Moses returned to his people in a state of indignation and sorrow. He said: "O my people! did not your Lord make a handsome promise to you? Did then the promise seem to you long (in coming)? Or did ye desire that Wrath should descend from your Lord on you, and so ye broke your promise to me?"

[RK]:Moses returned to his people, angry and disappointed, saying, "O my people, did your Lord not promise you a good promise? Could you not wait? Did you want to incur wrath from your Lord? Is this why you broke your agreement with me?"

[YA]: Those for whom the good (record) from Us has gone before, will be removed far therefrom.

[RK]:As for those who deserved our magnificent rewards, they will be protected from it.

Lan yanala Allaha luhoomuhawala dimaoha walakin yanaluhualttaqwa minkum kathalika sakhkharahalakum litukabbiroo Allaha AAala ma hadakumwabashshiri almuhsineenaلن ينال الله لحومها ولادماؤها ولكن يناله التقوي منكم كذلك سخرها لكم لتكبروا الله علي ماهداكم وبشر المحسنين
[YA]: It is not their meat nor their blood, that reaches Allah: it is your piety that reaches Him: He has thus made them subject to you, that ye may glorify Allah for His Guidance to you and proclaim the good news to all who do right.

[RK]:Neither their meat, nor their blood reaches GOD. What reaches Him is your righteousness. He has subdued them for you, that you may show your appreciation by glorifying GOD for guiding you. Give good news to the charitable.

Waallatheena hajaroofee sabeeli Allahi thumma qutiloo aw matoolayarzuqannahumu Allahu rizqan hasanan wa-inna Allahalahuwa khayru alrraziqeenaوالذين هاجروا في سبيل الله ثم قتلوا او ماتوا ليرزقنهم الله رزقا حسنا وان الله لهو خيرالرازقين
[YA]: Those who leave their homes in the cause of Allah, and are then slain or die,- On them will Allah bestow verily a goodly Provision: Truly Allah is He Who bestows the best provision.

[RK]:Those who emigrate for the sake of GOD, then get killed, or die, GOD will surely shower them with good provisions. GOD is certainly the best Provider.

Thumma khalaqna alnnutfataAAalaqatan fakhalaqna alAAalaqata mudghatanfakhalaqna almudghata AAithamanfakasawna alAAithama lahmanthumma ansha/nahu khalqan akhara fatabarakaAllahu ahsanu alkhaliqeenaثم خلقنا النطفة علقة فخلقنا العلقة مضغة فخلقنا المضغة عظاما فكسونا العظام لحما ثم انشاناه خلقا اخر فتبارك الله احسن الخالقين
[YA]: Then We made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; then of that clot We made a (foetus) lump; then we made out of that lump bones and clothed the bones with flesh; then we developed out of it another creature. So blessed be Allah, the best to create!

[RK]:Then we developed the drop into a hanging (embryo), then developed the hanging (embryo) into a bite-size (fetus), then created the bite-size (fetus) into bones, then covered the bones with flesh. We thus produce a new creature. Most blessed is GOD, the best Creator.

[YA]: Repel evil with that which is best: We are well acquainted with the things they say.

[RK]:Therefore, counter their evil works with goodness; we are fully aware of their claims.

[YA]: That Allah may reward them according to the best of their deeds, and add even more for them out of His Grace: for Allah doth provide for those whom He will, without measure.

[RK]:GOD will certainly reward them for their good works, and will shower them with His grace. GOD provides for whomever He wills without limits.

[YA]: The Companions of the Garden will be well, that Day, in their abode, and have the fairest of places for repose.

[RK]:The dwellers of Paradise are far better on that day; they will hear better news.

[YA]: And no question do they bring to thee but We reveal to thee the truth and the best explanation (thereof).

[RK]:Whatever argument they come up with, we provide you with the truth, and a better understanding.

[YA]: Unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds, for Allah will change the evil of such persons into good, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful,

[RK]:Exempted are those who repent, believe, and lead a righteous life. GOD transforms their sins into credits. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

[YA]: Dwelling therein;- how beautiful an abode and place of rest!

[RK]:Eternally they abide therein; what a beautiful destiny; what a beautiful abode.

[RK]:"Except those who commit a transgression, then substitute righteousness after sinning; I am Forgiving, Most Merciful.

[YA]: He said: "O my people! why ask ye to hasten on the evil in preference to the good? If only ye ask Allah for forgiveness, ye may hope to receive mercy.

[RK]:He said, "O my people, why do you hasten to commit evil instead of good works? If only you implore GOD for forgiveness, you may attain mercy."

Man jaa bialhasanatifalahu khayrun minha wahum min fazaAAin yawma-ithinaminoonaمن جاء بالحسنة فله خير منها وهم من فزع يومئذ امنون
[YA]: If any do good, good will (accrue) to them therefrom; and they will be secure from terror that Day.

[RK]:Those who bring good works (in their records) will receive far better rewards, and they will be perfectly secure from the horrors of that day.
