[YA]: And the stupor of death will bring Truth (before his eyes): "This was the thing which thou wast trying to escape!" [RK]:Finally, the inevitable coma of death comes; this is what you tried to evade.
252 | [50:21] Line:4651 |
| ||
[YA]: And there will come forth every soul: with each will be an (angel) to drive, and an (angel) to bear witness. [RK]:Every soul comes with a herder and a witness.
253 | [50:33] Line:4663 |

[YA]: "Who feared (Allah) Most Gracious Unseen, and brought a heart turned in devotion (to Him): [RK]:They reverenced the Most Gracious, in their privacy, and came wholeheartedly.
254 | [51:26] Line:4701 |

[YA]: Then he turned quickly to his household, brought out a fatted calf, [RK]:He asked his family to prepare a fat calf.
255 | [53:23] Line:4807 |

[YA]: These are nothing but names which ye have devised,- ye and your fathers,- for which Allah has sent down no authority (whatever). They follow nothing but conjecture and what their own souls desire!- Even though there has already come to them Guidance from their Lord! [RK]:These are but names that you made up, you and your forefathers. GOD never authorized such a blasphemy. They follow conjecture, and personal desire, when the true guidance has come to them herein from their Lord.
256 | [54:4] Line:4850 |
| ||
[YA]: There have already come to them Recitals wherein there is (enough) to check (them), [RK]:Sufficient warnings have been delivered to alert them.
257 | [54:41] Line:4887 |
| ||
[YA]: To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). [RK]:Pharaoh's people were warned.
258 | [57:14] Line:5089 |

[YA]: (Those without) will call out, "Were we not with you?" (The others) will reply, "True! but ye led yourselves into temptation; ye looked forward (to our ruin); ye doubted (Allah's Promise); and (your false) desires deceived you; until there issued the Command of Allah. And the Deceiver deceived you in respect of Allah. [RK]:They will call upon them, "Were we not with you?" They will answer, "Yes, but you cheated your souls, hesitated, doubted, and became misled by wishful thinking, until GOD's judgment came. You were diverted from GOD by illusions.
259 | [58:8] Line:5112 |

[YA]: Turnest thou not thy sight towards those who were forbidden secret counsels yet revert to that which they were forbidden (to do)? And they hold secret counsels among themselves for iniquity and hostility, and disobedience to the Messenger. And when they come to thee, they salute thee, not as Allah salutes thee, (but in crooked ways): And they say to themselves, "Why does not Allah punish us for our words?" Enough for them is Hell: In it will they burn, and evil is that destination! [RK]:Have you noted those who were enjoined from conspiring secretly, then insist on conspiring? They conspire to commit sin, transgression, and disobedience of the messenger. When they come to you, they greet you with a greeting other than that decreed by GOD. They say inside themselves, "GOD will not punish us for our utterances." Their only requital is Gehenna, wherein they burn; what a miserable destiny.
260 | [59:10] Line:5136 |
| ||
[YA]: And those who came after them say: "Our Lord! Forgive us, and our brethren who came before us into the Faith, and leave not, in our hearts, rancour (or sense of injury) against those who have believed. Our Lord! Thou art indeed Full of Kindness, Most Merciful." [RK]:Those who became believers after them say, "Our Lord, forgive us and our brethren who preceded us to the faith, and keep our hearts from harboring any hatred towards those who believed. Our Lord, You are Compassionate, Most Merciful."
261 | [60:1] Line:5151 |
| ||
[YA]: O ye who believe! Take not my enemies and yours as friends (or protectors),- offering them (your) love, even though they have rejected the Truth that has come to you, and have (on the contrary) driven out the Prophet and yourselves (from your homes), (simply) because ye believe in Allah your Lord! If ye have come out to strive in My Way and to seek My Good Pleasure, (take them not as friends), holding secret converse of love (and friendship) with them: for I know full well all that ye conceal and all that ye reveal. And any of you that does this has strayed from the Straight Path. [RK]:O you who believe, you shall not befriend My enemies and your enemies, extending love and friendship to them, even though they have disbelieved in the truth that has come to you. They persecute the messenger, and you, just because you believe in GOD, your Lord. If you mobilize to struggle in My cause, seeking My blessings, how can you secretly love them? I am fully aware of everything you conceal, and everything you declare. Those among you who do this have indeed strayed off the right path.
262 | [60:10] Line:5160 |
| ||
[YA]: O ye who believe! When there come to you believing women refugees, examine (and test) them: Allah knows best as to their Faith: if ye ascertain that they are Believers, then send them not back to the Unbelievers. They are not lawful (wives) for the Unbelievers, nor are the (Unbelievers) lawful (husbands) for them. But pay the Unbelievers what they have spent (on their dower), and there will be no blame on you if ye marry them on payment of their dower to them. But hold not to the guardianship of unbelieving women: ask for what ye have spent on their dowers, and let the (Unbelievers) ask for what they have spent (on the dowers of women who come over to you). Such is the command of Allah: He judges (with justice) between you. And Allah is Full of Knowledge and Wisdom. [RK]:O you who believe, when believing women (abandon the enemy and) ask for asylum with you, you shall test them. GOD is fully aware of their belief. Once you establish that they are believers, you shall not return them to the disbelievers. They are not lawful to remain married to them, nor shall the disbelievers be allowed to marry them. Give back the dowries that the disbelievers have paid. You commit no error by marrying them, so long as you pay them their due dowries. Do not keep disbelieving wives (if they wish to join the enemy). You may ask them for the dowry you had paid, and they may ask for what they paid. This is GOD's rule; He rules among you. GOD is Omniscient, Most Wise.
263 | [60:12] Line:5162 |
| ||
[YA]: O Prophet! When believing women come to thee to take the oath of fealty to thee, that they will not associate in worship any other thing whatever with Allah, that they will not steal, that they will not commit adultery (or fornication), that they will not kill their children, that they will not utter slander, intentionally forging falsehood, and that they will not disobey thee in any just matter,- then do thou receive their fealty, and pray to Allah for the forgiveness (of their sins): for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. [RK]:O you prophet, when the believing women (who abandoned the disbelievers) to seek asylum with you pledge to you that they will not set up any idols besides GOD, nor steal, nor commit adultery, nor kill their children, nor fabricate any falsehood, nor disobey your righteous orders, you shall accept their pledge, and pray to GOD to forgive them. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.
264 | [61:6] Line:5169 |

[YA]: And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: "O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me, and giving Glad Tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad." But when he came to them with Clear Signs, they said, "this is evident sorcery!" [RK]:Recall that Jesus, son of Mary, said, "O Children of Israel, I am GOD's messenger to you, confirming the Torah and bringing good news of a messenger to come after me whose name will be even more praised (Ahmad)." Then, when he showed them the clear proofs, they said, "This is profound magic."
265 | [63:1] Line:5189 |
| ||
[YA]: When the Hypocrites come to thee, they say, "We bear witness that thou art indeed the Messenger of Allah." Yea, Allah knoweth that thou art indeed His Messenger, and Allah beareth witness that the Hypocrites are indeed liars. [RK]:When the hypocrites come to you they say, "We bear witness that you are the messenger of GOD." GOD knows that you are His messenger, and GOD bears witness that the hypocrites are liars.
266 | [63:11] Line:5199 |
| ||
[YA]: But to no soul will Allah grant respite when the time appointed (for it) has come; and Allah is well acquainted with (all) that ye do. [RK]:GOD never delays the appointed time of death for any soul. GOD is fully Cognizant of everything you do.
267 | [67:9] Line:5250 |
| ||
[YA]: They will say: "Yes indeed; a Warner did come to us, but we rejected him and said, 'Allah never sent down any (Message): ye are nothing but an egregious delusion!'" [RK]:They would answer, "Yes indeed; a warner did come to us, but we disbelieved and said, `GOD did not reveal anything. You are totally astray.' "
268 | [69:9] Line:5332 |
| ||
[YA]: And Pharaoh, and those before him, and the Cities Overthrown, committed habitual Sin. [RK]:Pharaoh, others before him, and the sinners (of Sodom) were wicked.
269 | [71:4] Line:5423 |
| ||
[YA]: "So He may forgive you your sins and give you respite for a stated Term: for when the Term given by Allah is accomplished, it cannot be put forward: if ye only knew." [RK]:"He will then forgive you your sins and respite you for a predetermined period. Most assuredly, GOD's appointment can never be delayed, once it is due, if you only knew."
270 | [79:34] Line:5746 |
| ||
[YA]: Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- [RK]:Then, when the great blow comes.
271 | [80:2] Line:5760 |
| ||
[YA]: Because there came to him the blind man (interrupting). [RK]:When the blind man came to him.
272 | [80:8] Line:5766 |
| ||
[YA]: But as to him who came to thee striving earnestly, [RK]:The one who came to you eagerly.
273 | [80:33] Line:5791 |
| ||
[YA]: At length, when there comes the Deafening Noise,- [RK]:Then, when the blow comes to pass.
274 | [89:22] Line:6015 |
| ||
[YA]: And thy Lord cometh, and His angels, rank upon rank, [RK]:And your Lord comes, together with the angels in row after row.
275 | [98:4] Line:6134 |
| ||
[YA]: Nor did the People of the Book make schisms, until after there came to them Clear Evidence. [RK]:In fact, those who received the scripture did not dispute until the proof was given to them.
276 | [110:1] Line:6214 |
| ||
[YA]: When comes the Help of Allah, and Victory, [RK]:When triumph comes from GOD, and victory.
