[YA]: And remember, We delivered you from the people of Pharaoh: They set you hard tasks and punishments, slaughtered your sons and let your women-folk live; therein was a tremendous trial from your Lord. [RK]:Recall that we saved you from Pharaoh's people who inflicted upon you the worst persecution, slaying your sons and sparing your daughters. That was an exacting test from your Lord.

[YA]: And remember We divided the sea for you and saved you and drowned Pharaoh's people within your very sight. [RK]:Recall that we parted the sea for you; we saved you and drowned Pharaoh's people before your eyes.

[YA]: In most of their secret talks there is no good: But if one exhorts to a deed of charity or justice or conciliation between men, (Secrecy is permissible): To him who does this, seeking the good pleasure of Allah, We shall soon give a reward of the highest (value). [RK]:There is nothing good about their private conferences, except for those who advocate charity, or righteous works, or making peace among the people. Anyone who does this, in response to GOD's teachings, we will grant him a great recompense.
4 | [6:63] Line:852 |

[YA]: Say: "Who is it that delivereth you from the dark recesses of land and sea, when ye call upon Him in humility and silent terror: 'If He only delivers us from these (dangers), (we vow) we shall truly show our gratitude'?" [RK]:Say, "Who can save you from the darkness of the land or the sea?" You implore Him loudly and secretly: "If He saves us this time, we will be eternally appreciative."

| ||
[YA]: Say "It is Allah that delivereth you from these and all (other) distresses: and yet ye worship false gods!" [RK]:Say, "GOD does save you this time, and other times as well, then you still set up idols besides Him."
7 | [7:64] Line:1018 |

[YA]: But they rejected him, and We delivered him, and those with him, in the Ark: but We overwhelmed in the flood those who rejected Our signs. They were indeed a blind people! [RK]:They rejected him. Consequently, we saved him and those with him in the ark, and we drowned those who rejected our revelations; they were blind.
8 | [7:72] Line:1026 |
| ||
[YA]: We saved him and those who adhered to him. By Our mercy, and We cut off the roots of those who rejected Our signs and did not believe. [RK]:We then saved him and those with him, by mercy from us, and we annihilated those who rejected our revelations and refused to be believers.
9 | [7:83] Line:1037 |
| ||
[YA]: But we saved him and his family, except his wife: she was of those who legged behind. [RK]:Consequently, we saved him and his family, but not his wife; she was with the doomed.
10 | [7:89] Line:1043 |
| ||
[YA]: "We should indeed invent a lie against Allah, if we returned to your ways after Allah hath rescued us therefrom; nor could we by any manner of means return thereto unless it be as in the will and plan of Allah, Our Lord. Our Lord can reach out to the utmost recesses of things by His knowledge. In the Allah is our trust. our Lord! decide Thou between us and our people in truth, for Thou art the best to decide." [RK]:"We would be blaspheming against GOD if we reverted to your religion after GOD has saved us from it. How could we revert back to it against the will of GOD our Lord? Our Lord's knowledge encompasses all things. We have put our trust in GOD. Our Lord, grant us a decisive victory over our people. You are the best supporter."
11 | [7:141] Line:1095 |
| ||
[YA]: And remember We rescued you from Pharaoh's people, who afflicted you with the worst of penalties, who slew your male children and saved alive your females: in that was a momentous trial from your Lord. [RK]:Recall that we delivered you from Pharaoh's people, who inflicted the worst persecution upon you, killing your sons and sparing your daughters. That was an exacting trial for you from your Lord.
12 | [7:165] Line:1119 |
| ||
[YA]: When they disregarded the warnings that had been given them, We rescued those who forbade Evil; but We visited the wrong-doers with a grievous punishment because they were given to transgression. [RK]:When they disregarded what they were reminded of, we saved those who prohibited evil, and afflicted the wrongdoers with a terrible retribution for their wickedness.
13 | [9:78] Line:1313 |
| ||
[YA]: Know they not that Allah doth know their secret (thoughts) and their secret counsels, and that Allah knoweth well all things unseen? [RK]:Do they not realize that GOD knows their secrets, and their conspiracies, and that GOD is the Knower of all secrets?
14 | [10:22] Line:1386 |
| ||
[YA]: He it is Who enableth you to traverse through land and sea; so that ye even board ships;- they sail with them with a favourable wind, and they rejoice thereat; then comes a stormy wind and the waves come to them from all sides, and they think they are being overwhelmed: they cry unto Allah, sincerely offering (their) duty unto Him saying, "If thou dost deliver us from this, we shall truly show our gratitude!" [RK]:He is the One who moves you across the land and sea. You get onto the ships, and they sail smoothly in a nice breeze. Then, while rejoicing therein, violent wind blows, and the waves surround them from every side. This is when they implore GOD, sincerely devoting their prayers to Him alone: "If You only save us this time, we will be eternally appreciative."
15 | [10:23] Line:1387 |
| ||
[YA]: But when he delivereth them, behold! they transgress insolently through the earth in defiance of right! O mankind! your insolence is against your own souls,- an enjoyment of the life of the present: in the end, to Us is your return, and We shall show you the truth of all that ye did. [RK]:But as soon as He saves them, they transgress on earth, and oppose the truth. O people, your transgression is only to the detriment of your own souls. You remain preoccupied with this worldly life, then to us is your ultimate return, then we inform you of everything you had done.
16 | [10:73] Line:1437 |
| ||
[YA]: They rejected Him, but We delivered him, and those with him, in the Ark, and We made them inherit (the earth), while We overwhelmed in the flood those who rejected Our Signs. Then see what was the end of those who were warned (but heeded not)! [RK]:They rejected him and, consequently, we saved him and those who joined him in the ark; we made them the inheritors. And we drowned those who rejected our revelations. Note the consequences; they have been warned.
17 | [10:86] Line:1450 |
| ||
[YA]: "And deliver us by Thy Mercy from those who reject (Thee)." [RK]:"Deliver us, with Your mercy, from the disbelieving people."
18 | [10:92] Line:1456 |
| ||
[YA]: "This day shall We save thee in the body, that thou mayest be a sign to those who come after thee! but verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Signs!" [RK]:"Today, we will preserve your body, to set you up as a lesson for future generations." Unfortunately, many people are totally oblivious to our signs.
19 | [10:103] Line:1467 |
| ||
[YA]: In the end We deliver Our messengers and those who believe: Thus is it fitting on Our part that We should deliver those who believe! [RK]:We ultimately save our messengers and those who believe. It is our immutable law that we save the believers.
20 | [10:103] Line:1467 |

[YA]: In the end We deliver Our messengers and those who believe: Thus is it fitting on Our part that We should deliver those who believe! [RK]:We ultimately save our messengers and those who believe. It is our immutable law that we save the believers.
21 | [11:58] Line:1531 |
| ||
[YA]: So when Our decree issued, We saved Hud and those who believed with him, by (special) Grace from Ourselves: We saved them from a severe penalty. [RK]:When our judgment came, we saved Hood and those who believed with him, by mercy from us. We saved them from a terrible retribution.
22 | [11:58] Line:1531 |

[YA]: So when Our decree issued, We saved Hud and those who believed with him, by (special) Grace from Ourselves: We saved them from a severe penalty. [RK]:When our judgment came, we saved Hood and those who believed with him, by mercy from us. We saved them from a terrible retribution.
23 | [11:66] Line:1539 |
| ||
[YA]: When Our Decree issued, We saved Salih and those who believed with him, by (special) Grace from Ourselves - and from the Ignominy of that day. For thy Lord - He is the Strong One, and able to enforce His Will. [RK]:When our judgment came, we saved Saaleh and those who believed with him by mercy from us, from the humiliation of that day. Your Lord is the Most Powerful, the Almighty.
24 | [11:94] Line:1567 |
| ||
[YA]: When Our decree issued, We saved Shu'aib and those who believed with him, by (special) mercy from Ourselves: But the (mighty) blast did seize the wrong-doers, and they lay prostrate in their homes by the morning,- [RK]:When our judgment came, we saved Shu`aib and those who believed with him, by mercy from us. As for the evil ones, they were struck by a disaster that left them dead in their homes.
25 | [11:116] Line:1589 |
| ||
[YA]: Why were there not, among the generations before you, persons possessed of balanced good sense, prohibiting (men) from mischief in the earth - except a few among them whom We saved (from harm)? But the wrong-doers pursued the enjoyment of the good things of life which were given them, and persisted in sin. [RK]:If only some of those among the previous generations possessed enough intelligence to forbid evil! Only a few of them deserved to be saved by us. As for the transgressors, they were preoccupied with their material luxuries; they were guilty.
26 | [12:42] Line:1638 |
| ||
[YA]: And of the two, to that one whom he consider about to be saved, he said: "Mention me to thy lord." But Satan made him forget to mention him to his lord: and (Joseph) lingered in prison a few (more) years. [RK]:He then said to the one to be saved "Remember me at your lord." Thus, the devil caused him to forget his Lord, and, consequently, he remained in prison a few more years.
27 | [12:45] Line:1641 |
| ||
[YA]: But the man who had been released, one of the two (who had been in prison) and who now bethought him after (so long) a space of time, said: "I will tell you the truth of its interpretation: send ye me (therefore)." [RK]:The one who was saved (from the prison) said, now that he finally remembered, "I can tell you its interpretation, so send me (to Joseph)."
28 | [12:80] Line:1676 |
| ||
[YA]: Now when they saw no hope of his (yielding), they held a conference in private. The leader among them said: "Know ye not that your father did take an oath from you in Allah's name, and how, before this, ye did fail in your duty with Joseph? Therefore will I not leave this land until my father permits me, or Allah commands me; and He is the best to command. [RK]:When they despaired of changing his mind, they conferred together. Their eldest said, "Do you realize that your father has taken a solemn pledge from you before GOD? In the past you lost Joseph. I am not leaving this place until my father gives me permission, or until GOD judges for me; He is the best Judge.
29 | [12:110] Line:1706 |
| ||
[YA]: (Respite will be granted) until, when the messengers give up hope (of their people) and (come to) think that they were treated as liars, there reaches them Our help, and those whom We will are delivered into safety. But never will be warded off our punishment from those who are in sin. [RK]:Just when the messengers despair, and think that they had been rejected, our victory comes to them. We then save whomever we choose, while our retribution for the guilty people is unavoidable.
30 | [14:6] Line:1756 |
| ||
[YA]: Remember! Moses said to his people: "Call to mind the favour of Allah to you when He delivered you from the people of Pharaoh: they set you hard tasks and punishments, slaughtered your sons, and let your women-folk live: therein was a tremendous trial from your Lord." [RK]:Recall that Moses said to his people, "Remember GOD's blessings upon you. He saved you from Pharaoh's people who inflicted the worst persecution upon you, slaughtering your sons and sparing your daughters. That was an exacting trial from your Lord."
31 | [15:59] Line:1861 |
| ||
[YA]: "Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All - [RK]:"As for Lot's family, we will save them all.
32 | [17:47] Line:2076 |
| ||
[YA]: We know best why it is they listen, when they listen to thee; and when they meet in private conference, behold, the wicked say, "Ye follow none other than a man bewitched!" [RK]:We are fully aware of what they hear, when they listen to you, and when they conspire secretly - the disbelievers say, "You are following a crazy man."
33 | [17:67] Line:2096 |
| ||
[YA]: When distress seizes you at sea, those that ye call upon - besides Himself - leave you in the lurch! but when He brings you back safe to land, ye turn away (from Him). Most ungrateful is man! [RK]:If you are afflicted in the middle of the sea, you forget your idols and sincerely implore Him alone. But as soon as He saves you to the shore, you revert. Indeed, the human being is unappreciative.
34 | [19:52] Line:2302 |
| ||
[YA]: And we called him from the right side of Mount (Sinai), and made him draw near to Us, for mystic (converse). [RK]:We called him from the right side of Mount Sinai. We brought him close, to confer with him.
35 | [19:72] Line:2322 |
| ||
[YA]: But We shall save those who guarded against evil, and We shall leave the wrong-doers therein, (humbled) to their knees. [RK]:Then we rescue the righteous, and leave the transgressors in it, humiliated.
36 | [20:40] Line:2388 |
| ||
[YA]: "Behold! thy sister goeth forth and saith, 'shall I show you one who will nurse and rear the (child)?' So We brought thee back to thy mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve. Then thou didst slay a man, but We saved thee from trouble, and We tried thee in various ways. Then didst thou tarry a number of years with the people of Midian. Then didst thou come hither as ordained, O Moses! [RK]:"Your sister walked to them and said, `I can tell you about a nursing mother who can take good care of him.' We thus returned you to your mother, that she may be happy and stop worrying. And when you killed a person, we saved you from the grievous consequences; indeed we tested you thoroughly. You stayed years with the people of Midyan, and now you have come back in accordance with a precise plan.
37 | [20:62] Line:2410 |
| ||
[YA]: So they disputed, one with another, over their affair, but they kept their talk secret. [RK]:They disputed among themselves, as they conferred privately.
38 | [20:80] Line:2428 |
| ||
[YA]: O ye Children of Israel! We delivered you from your enemy, and We made a Covenant with you on the right side of Mount (Sinai), and We sent down to you Manna and quails: [RK]:O Children of Israel, we delivered you from your enemy, summoned you to the right side of Mount Sinai, and we sent down to you manna and quails.
39 | [21:3] Line:2486 |
| ||
[YA]: Their hearts toying as with trifles. The wrong-doers conceal their private counsels, (saying), "Is this (one) more than a man like yourselves? Will ye go to witchcraft with your eyes open?" [RK]:Their minds are heedless. And the transgressors confer secretly: "Is he not just a human being like you? Would you accept the magic that is presented to you?"
40 | [21:9] Line:2492 |
| ||
[YA]: In the end We fulfilled to them Our Promise, and We saved them and those whom We pleased, but We destroyed those who transgressed beyond bounds. [RK]:We fulfilled our promise to them; we saved them together with whomever we willed, and annihilated the transgressors.
41 | [21:71] Line:2554 |
| ||
[YA]: But We delivered him and (his nephew) Lut (and directed them) to the land which We have blessed for the nations. [RK]:We saved him, and we saved Lot, to the land that we blessed for all the people.
42 | [21:74] Line:2557 |
| ||
[YA]: And to Lut, too, We gave Judgment and Knowledge, and We saved him from the town which practised abominations: truly they were a people given to Evil, a rebellious people. [RK]:As for Lot, we granted him wisdom and knowledge, and we saved him from the community that practiced abominations; they were wicked and evil people.
43 | [21:76] Line:2559 |
| ||
[YA]: (Remember) Noah, when he cried (to Us) aforetime: We listened to his (prayer) and delivered him and his family from great distress. [RK]:And, before that, Noah called and we responded to him. We saved him and his family from the great disaster.
44 | [21:88] Line:2571 |
| ||
[YA]: So We listened to him: and delivered him from distress: and thus do We deliver those who have faith. [RK]:We responded to him, and saved him from the crisis; we thus save the believers.
45 | [21:88] Line:2571 |
| ||
[YA]: So We listened to him: and delivered him from distress: and thus do We deliver those who have faith. [RK]:We responded to him, and saved him from the crisis; we thus save the believers.
46 | [23:28] Line:2701 |
| ||
[YA]: And when thou hast embarked on the Ark - thou and those with thee,- say: "Praise be to Allah, Who has saved us from the people who do wrong." [RK]:"Once you are settled, together with those who are with you, on the watercraft, you shall say, `Praise GOD for saving us from the evil people.'
47 | [26:65] Line:2997 |
| ||
[YA]: We delivered Moses and all who were with him; [RK]:We thus saved Moses and all those who were with him.
48 | [26:118] Line:3050 |
| ||
[YA]: "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." [RK]:"Grant me victory against them, and deliver me and my company of believers."
49 | [26:119] Line:3051 |
| ||
[YA]: So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). [RK]:We delivered him and those who accompanied him in the loaded ark.
50 | [26:169] Line:3101 |
| ||
[YA]: "O my Lord! deliver me and my family from such things as they do!" [RK]:"My Lord, save me and my family from their works."
