[YA]: (We sent them) with Clear Signs and Books of dark prophecies; and We have sent down unto thee (also) the Message; that thou mayest explain clearly to men what is sent for them, and that they may give thought. [RK]:We provided them with the proofs and the scriptures. And we sent down to you this message, to proclaim for the people everything that is sent down to them, perhaps they will reflect.
102 | [16:90] Line:1991 |
| ||
[YA]: Allah commands justice, the doing of good, and liberality to kith and kin, and He forbids all shameful deeds, and injustice and rebellion: He instructs you, that ye may receive admonition. [RK]:GOD advocates justice, charity, and regarding the relatives. And He forbids evil, vice, and transgression. He enlightens you, that you may take heed.
103 | [16:97] Line:1998 |
| ||
[YA]: Whoever works righteousness, man or woman, and has Faith, verily, to him will We give a new Life, a life that is good and pure and We will bestow on such their reward according to the best of their actions. [RK]:Anyone who works righteousness, male or female, while believing, we will surely grant them a happy life in this world, and we will surely pay them their full recompense (on the Day of Judgment) for their righteous works.
104 | [17:41] Line:2070 |
| ||
[YA]: We have explained (things) in various (ways) in this Qur'an, in order that they may receive admonition, but it only increases their flight (from the Truth)! [RK]:We have cited in this Quran (all kinds of examples), that they may take heed. But it only augments their aversion.
105 | [17:46] Line:2075 |
| ||
[YA]: And We put coverings over their hearts (and minds) lest they should understand the Qur'an, and deafness into their ears: when thou dost commemorate thy Lord and Him alone in the Qur'an, they turn on their backs, fleeing (from the Truth). [RK]:We place shields around their minds, to prevent them from understanding it, and deafness in their ears. And when you preach your Lord, using the Quran alone, they run away in aversion.
106 | [18:24] Line:2164 |
| ||
[YA]: Without adding, "So please Allah!" and call thy Lord to mind when thou forgettest, and say, "I hope that my Lord will guide me ever closer (even) than this to the right road." [RK]:without saying, "GOD willing." If you forget to do this, you must immediately remember your Lord and say, "May my Lord guide me to do better next time."
107 | [18:28] Line:2168 |
| ||
[YA]: And keep thy soul content with those who call on their Lord morning and evening, seeking His Face; and let not thine eyes pass beyond them, seeking the pomp and glitter of this Life; no obey any whose heart We have permitted to neglect the remembrance of Us, one who follows his own desires, whose case has gone beyond all bounds. [RK]:You shall force yourself to be with those who worship their Lord day and night, seeking Him alone. Do not turn your eyes away from them, seeking the vanities of this world. Nor shall you obey one whose heart we rendered oblivious to our message; one who pursues his own desires, and whose priorities are confused.
108 | [18:57] Line:2197 |
| ||
[YA]: And who doth more wrong than one who is reminded of the Signs of his Lord, but turns away from them, forgetting the (deeds) which his hands have sent forth? Verily We have set veils over their hearts lest they should understand this, and over their ears, deafness, if thou callest them to guidance, even then will they never accept guidance. [RK]:Who are more evil than those who are reminded of their Lord's proofs, then disregard them, without realizing what they are doing. Consequently, we place shields on their hearts to prevent them from understanding it (the Quran), and deafness in their ears. Thus, no matter what you do to guide them, they can never ever be guided.
109 | [18:63] Line:2203 |
| ||
[YA]: He replied: "Sawest thou (what happened) when we betook ourselves to the rock? I did indeed forget (about) the Fish: none but Satan made me forget to tell (you) about it: it took its course through the sea in a marvellous way!" [RK]:He said, "Remember when we sat by the rock back there? I paid no attention to the fish. It was the devil who made me forget it, and it found its way back to the river, strangely."
110 | [18:70] Line:2210 |
| ||
[YA]: The other said: "If then thou wouldst follow me, ask me no questions about anything until I myself speak to thee concerning it." [RK]:He said, "If you follow me, then you shall not ask me about anything, unless I choose to tell you about it."
111 | [18:83] Line:2223 |

112 | [18:101] Line:2241 |
| ||

| ||

127 | [20:113] Line:2461 |

129 | [21:2] Line:2485 |
| ||
[YA]: Never comes (aught) to them of a renewed Message from their Lord, but they listen to it as in jest,- [RK]:When a proof comes to them from their Lord, that is new, they listen to it heedlessly.
130 | [21:7] Line:2490 |
| ||
[YA]: Before thee, also, the messengers We sent were but men, to whom We granted inspiration: If ye realise this not, ask of those who possess the Message. [RK]:We did not send before you except men whom we inspired. Ask those who know the scripture, if you do not know.
131 | [21:10] Line:2493 |
| ||
[YA]: We have revealed for you (O men!) a book in which is a Message for you: will ye not then understand? [RK]:We have sent down to you a scripture containing your message. Do you not understand?
132 | [21:24] Line:2507 |
| ||
[YA]: Or have they taken for worship (other) gods besides him? Say, "Bring your convincing proof: this is the Message of those with me and the Message of those before me." But most of them know not the Truth, and so turn away. [RK]:Have they found other gods beside Him? Say, "Show me your proof. This is the message to my generation, consummating all previous messages." Indeed, most of them do not recognize the truth; this is why they are so hostile.

134 | [21:36] Line:2519 |

[YA]: When the Unbelievers see thee, they treat thee not except with ridicule. "Is this," (they say), "the one who talks of your gods?" and they blaspheme at the mention of (Allah) Most Gracious! [RK]:When those who disbelieve see you, they ridicule you: "Is this the one who challenges your gods?" Meanwhile, they remain totally heedless of the message from the Most Gracious.
135 | [21:36] Line:2519 |

136 | [21:42] Line:2525 |
| ||
[YA]: Say: "Who can keep you safe by night and by day from (the Wrath of) (Allah) Most Gracious?" Yet they turn away from the mention of their Lord. 138 | [21:50] Line:2533 |
| ||
[YA]: And this is a blessed Message which We have sent down: will ye then reject it? [RK]:This too is a blessed reminder that we sent down. Are you denying it?

[YA]: They said, "We heard a youth talk of them: He is called Abraham." [RK]:They said, "We heard a youth threaten them; he is called Abraham."
140 | [21:84] Line:2567 |
| ||
[YA]: So We listened to him: We removed the distress that was on him, and We restored his people to him, and doubled their number,- as a Grace from Ourselves, and a thing for commemoration, for all who serve Us. [RK]:We responded to him, relieved his adversity, and restored his family for him, even twice as much. That was a mercy from us, and a reminder for the worshipers.
141 | [21:89] Line:2572 |
| ||
[YA]: And (remember) Zakariya, when he cried to his Lord: "O my Lord! leave me not without offspring, though thou art the best of inheritors." [RK]:And Zachariah implored his Lord: "My Lord, do not keep me without an heir, though You are the best inheritor."

144 | [22:34] Line:2629 |

Your god is one and the same god; you shall all submit to Him. Give good news to the obedient.
145 | [22:35] Line:2630 |
| ||
[YA]: To those whose hearts when Allah is mentioned, are filled with fear, who show patient perseverance over their afflictions, keep up regular prayer, and spend (in charity) out of what We have bestowed upon them. [RK]:They are the ones whose hearts tremble upon mentioning GOD, they steadfastly persevere during adversity, they observe the Contact Prayers (Salat), and from our provisions to them, they give to charity.
146 | [22:36] Line:2631 |
| ||
[YA]: The sacrificial camels we have made for you as among the symbols from Allah: in them is (much) good for you: then pronounce the name of Allah over them as they line up (for sacrifice): when they are down on their sides (after slaughter), eat ye thereof, and feed such as (beg not but) live in contentment, and such as beg with due humility: thus have We made animals subject to you, that ye may be grateful. [RK]:The animal offerings are among the rites decreed by GOD for your own good. You shall mention GOD's name on them while they are standing in line. Once they are offered for sacrifice, you shall eat therefrom and feed the poor and the needy. This is why we subdued them for you, that you may show your appreciation.
147 | [22:40] Line:2635 |
| ||
[YA]: (They are) those who have been expelled from their homes in defiance of right,- (for no cause) except that they say, "our Lord is Allah". Did not Allah check one set of people by means of another, there would surely have been pulled down monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques, in which the name of Allah is commemorated in abundant measure. Allah will certainly aid those who aid his (cause);- for verily Allah is full of Strength, Exalted in Might, (able to enforce His Will). [RK]:They were evicted from their homes unjustly, for no reason other than saying, "Our Lord is GOD." If it were not for GOD's supporting of some people against others, monasteries, churches, synagogues, and masjids - where the name of GOD is commemorated frequently - would have been destroyed. Absolutely, GOD supports those who support Him. GOD is Powerful, Almighty.
148 | [23:71] Line:2744 |
| ||
[YA]: If the Truth had been in accord with their desires, truly the heavens and the earth, and all beings therein would have been in confusion and corruption! We have given them their proof, but they are disregarding their proof.
