[YA]: Verily Allah will defend (from ill) those who believe: verily, Allah loveth not any that is a traitor to faith, or show ingratitude. [RK]:GOD defends those who believe. GOD does not love any betrayer, unappreciative.
302 | [22:44] Line:2639 |

[YA]: And the Companions of the Madyan People; and Moses was rejected (in the same way). But I granted respite to the Unbelievers, and (only) after that did I punish them: but how (terrible) was my rejection (of them)! [RK]:And the dwellers of Midyan. Moses was also rejected. I led all those people on, then I called them to account; how (devastating) was My requital!
303 | [22:55] Line:2650 |

[YA]: Those who reject Faith will not cease to be in doubt concerning (Revelation) until the Hour (of Judgment) comes suddenly upon them, or there comes to them the Penalty of a Day of Disaster. [RK]:As for those who disbelieve, they will continue to harbor doubts until the Hour comes to them suddenly, or until the retribution of a terrible day comes to them.
304 | [22:57] Line:2652 |
| ||
[YA]: And for those who reject Faith and deny our Signs, there will be a humiliating Punishment. [RK]:While those who disbelieved and rejected our revelations have incurred a shameful retribution.
305 | [22:66] Line:2661 |
| ||
[YA]: It is He Who gave you life, will cause you to die, and will again give you life: Truly man is a most ungrateful creature! [RK]:He is the One who granted you life, then He puts you to death, then He brings you back to life. Surely, the human being is unappreciative.
306 | [22:72] Line:2667 |
| ||
[YA]: When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, thou wilt notice a denial on the faces of the Unbelievers! they nearly attack with violence those who rehearse Our Signs to them. Say, "Shall I tell you of something (far) worse than these Signs? It is the Fire (of Hell)! Allah has promised it to the Unbelievers! and evil is that destination!" [RK]:When our revelations are recited to them, clearly, you recognize wickedness on the faces of those who disbelieve. They almost attack those who recite our revelations to them. Say, "Shall I inform you of something much worse? Hell is promised by GOD for those who disbelieve; what a miserable destiny."

[YA]: The chiefs of the Unbelievers among his people said: "He is no more than a man like yourselves: his wish is to assert his superiority over you: if Allah had wished (to send messengers), He could have sent down angels; never did we hear such a thing (as he says), among our ancestors of old." [RK]:The leaders who disbelieved among his people said, "This is no more than a human like you, who wants to gain prominence among you. Had GOD willed, He could have sent down angels. We never heard of anything like this from our ancestors.
309 | [23:33] Line:2706 |
| ||
[YA]: And the chiefs of his people, who disbelieved and denied the Meeting in the Hereafter, and on whom We had bestowed the good things of this life, said: "He is no more than a man like yourselves: he eats of that of which ye eat, and drinks of what ye drink. [RK]:The leaders among his people who disbelieved and rejected the idea of the Hereafter - although we provided for them generously in this life - said, "This is no more than a human being like you. He eats from what you eat, and drinks as you drink.
310 | [23:117] Line:2790 |
| ||
[YA]: If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! [RK]:Anyone who idolizes beside GOD any other god, and without any kind of proof, his reckoning rests with his Lord. The disbelievers never succeed.
311 | [24:39] Line:2830 |
| ||
[YA]: But the Unbelievers,- their deeds are like a mirage in sandy deserts, which the man parched with thirst mistakes for water; until when he comes up to it, he finds it to be nothing: But he finds Allah (ever) with him, and Allah will pay him his account: and Allah is swift in taking account. [RK]:As for those who disbelieve, their works are like a mirage in the desert. A thirsty person thinks that it is water. But when he reaches it, he finds that it is nothing, and he finds GOD there instead, to requite him fully for his works. GOD is the most efficient reckoner.
312 | [24:55] Line:2846 |
| ||
[YA]: Allah has promised, to those among you who believe and work righteous deeds, that He will, of a surety, grant them in the land, inheritance (of power), as He granted it to those before them; that He will establish in authority their religion - the one which He has chosen for them; and that He will change (their state), after the fear in which they (lived), to one of security and peace: 'They will worship Me (alone) and not associate aught with Me. 'If any do reject Faith after this, they are rebellious and wicked. [RK]:GOD promises those among you who believe and lead a righteous life, that He will make them sovereigns on earth, as He did for those before them, and will establish for them the religion He has chosen for them, and will substitute peace and security for them in place of fear. All this because they worship Me alone; they never set up any idols beside Me. Those who disbelieve after this are the truly wicked.
313 | [24:57] Line:2848 |
| ||
[YA]: Never think thou that the Unbelievers are going to frustrate (Allah's Plan) on earth: their abode is the Fire,- and it is indeed an evil refuge! [RK]:Do not think that those who disbelieve will ever get away with it. Their final abode is Hell; what a miserable destiny.
314 | [25:4] Line:2859 |
| ||
[YA]: But the misbelievers say: "Naught is this but a lie which he has forged, and others have helped him at it." In truth it is they who have put forward an iniquity and a falsehood. [RK]:Those who disbelieved said, "This is a fabrication that he produced, with the help of some other people." They have uttered a blasphemy and a falsehood.
315 | [25:26] Line:2881 |
| ||
[YA]: That Day, the dominion as of right and truth, shall be (wholly) for (Allah) Most Merciful: it will be a Day of dire difficulty for the Misbelievers. [RK]:All sovereignty on that day belongs to the Most Gracious. For the disbelievers, it will be a difficult day.
316 | [25:32] Line:2887 |
| ||
[YA]: Those who reject Faith say: "Why is not the Qur'an revealed to him all at once? Thus (is it revealed), that We may strengthen thy heart thereby, and We have rehearsed it to thee in slow, well-arranged stages, gradually. [RK]:Those who disbelieved said, "Why did not the Quran come through him all at once?" We have released it to you gradually, in order to fix it in your memory. We have recited it in a specific sequence.
317 | [25:50] Line:2905 |
| ||
[YA]: And We have distributed the (water) amongst them, in order that they may celebrate (our) praises, but most men are averse (to aught) but (rank) ingratitude. [RK]:We have distributed it among them in exact measure, that they may take heed. But most people insist upon disbelieving.
318 | [25:52] Line:2907 |
| ||
[YA]: Therefore listen not to the Unbelievers, but strive against them with the utmost strenuousness, with the (Qur'an). [RK]:Therefore, do not obey the disbelievers, and strive against them with this, a great striving.
319 | [25:55] Line:2910 |
| ||
[YA]: Yet do they worship, besides Allah, things that can neither profit them nor harm them: and the Misbeliever is a helper (of Evil), against his own Lord! [RK]:Yet, they still set up beside GOD idols that cannot benefit them, nor harm them. Indeed, the disbeliever is an enemy of his Lord.
320 | [26:19] Line:2951 |
| ||
[YA]: "And thou didst a deed of thine which (thou knowest) thou didst, and thou art an ungrateful (wretch)!" [RK]:"Then you committed the crime that you committed, and you were ungrateful."
321 | [27:40] Line:3199 |
| ||
[YA]: Said one who had knowledge of the Book: "I will bring it to thee within the twinkling of an eye!" Then when (Solomon) saw it placed firmly before him, he said: "This is by the Grace of my Lord!- to test me whether I am grateful or ungrateful! and if any is grateful, truly his gratitude is (a gain) for his own soul; but if any is ungrateful, truly my Lord is Free of all Needs, Supreme in Honour !" [RK]:The one who possessed knowledge from the book said, "I can bring it to you in the blink of your eye." When he saw it settled in front of him, he said, "This is a blessing from my Lord, whereby He tests me, to show whether I am appreciative or unappreciative. Whoever is appreciative is appreciative for his own good, and if one turns unappreciative, then my Lord is in no need for him, Most Honorable."
322 | [27:40] Line:3199 |

323 | [27:43] Line:3202 |

[YA]: And he diverted her from the worship of others besides Allah: for she was (sprung) of a people that had no faith. [RK]:She had been diverted by worshipping idols instead of GOD; she belonged to disbelieving people.
324 | [27:67] Line:3226 |
| ||
[YA]: The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? [RK]:Those who disbelieved said, "After we turn into dust, and also our parents, do we get brought out?
325 | [28:48] Line:3300 |
| ||
[YA]: But (now), when the Truth has come to them from Ourselves, they say, "Why are not (Signs) sent to him, like those which were sent to Moses?" Do they not then reject (the Signs) which were formerly sent to Moses? They say: "Two kinds of sorcery, each assisting the other!" And they say: "For us, we reject all (such things)!" [RK]:Now that the truth has come to them from us, they said, "If only we could be given what was given to Moses!" Did they not disbelieve in what was given to Moses in the past? They said, "Both (scriptures) are works of magic that copied one another." They also said, "We are disbelievers in both of them."
326 | [28:48] Line:3300 |

327 | [28:82] Line:3334 |
| ||
[YA]: And those who had envied his position the day before began to say on the morrow: "Ah! it is indeed Allah Who enlarges the provision or restricts it, to any of His servants He pleases! had it not been that Allah was gracious to us, He could have caused the earth to swallow us up! Ah! those who reject Allah will assuredly never prosper." [RK]:Those who were envious of him the day before said, "Now we realize that GOD is the One who provides for whomever He chooses from among His servants, and withholds. If it were not for GOD's grace towards us, He could have caused the earth to swallow us too. We now realize that the disbelievers never succeed."
328 | [28:86] Line:3338 |
| ||
[YA]: And thou hadst not expected that the Book would be sent to thee except as a Mercy from thy Lord: Therefore lend not thou support in any way to those who reject (Allah's Message). [RK]:You never expected this scripture to come your way; but this is a mercy from your Lord. Therefore, you shall not side with the disbelievers.
329 | [29:7] Line:3347 |
| ||
[YA]: Those who believe and work righteous deeds,- from them shall We blot out all evil (that may be) in them, and We shall reward them according to the best of their deeds. [RK]:Those who believe and lead a righteous life, we will certainly remit their sins, and will certainly reward them generously for their righteous works.
330 | [29:12] Line:3352 |
| ||
[YA]: And the Unbelievers say to those who believe: "Follow our path, and we will bear (the consequences) of your faults." Never in the least will they bear their faults: in fact they are liars! [RK]:Those who disbelieved said to those who believed, "If you follow our way, we will be responsible for your sins." Not true; they cannot bear any of their sins. They are liars.
331 | [29:23] Line:3363 |
| ||
[YA]: Those who reject the Signs of Allah and the Meeting with Him (in the Hereafter),- it is they who shall despair of My Mercy: it is they who will (suffer) a most grievous Penalty. [RK]:Those who disbelieve in GOD's revelations, and in meeting Him, have despaired from My mercy. They have incurred a painful retribution.
332 | [29:25] Line:3365 |
| ||
[YA]: And he said: "For you, ye have taken (for worship) idols besides Allah, out of mutual love and regard between yourselves in this life; but on the Day of Judgment ye shall disown each other and curse each other: and your abode will be the Fire, and ye shall have none to help." [RK]:He said, "You worship beside GOD powerless idols due to peer pressure, just to preserve some friendship among you in this worldly life. But then, on the Day of Resurrection, you will disown one another, and curse one another. Your destiny is Hell, wherein you cannot help one another."
333 | [29:47] Line:3387 |
| ||
[YA]: And thus (it is) that We have sent down the Book to thee. So the People of the Book believe therein, as also do some of these (pagan Arabs): and none but Unbelievers reject our signs. [RK]:We have revealed to you this scripture, and those whom we blessed with the previous scripture will believe in it. Also, some of your people will believe in it. Indeed, those who disregard our revelations are the real disbelievers.
334 | [29:52] Line:3392 |
| ||
[YA]: Say: "Enough is Allah for a witness between me and you: He knows what is in the heavens and on earth. And it is those who believe in vanities and reject Allah, that will perish (in the end). [RK]:Say, "GOD suffices as a witness between me and you. He knows everything in the heavens and the earth. Surely, those who believe in falsehood and disbelieve in GOD are the real losers."
335 | [29:54] Line:3394 |
| ||
[YA]: They ask thee to hasten on the Punishment: but, of a surety, Hell will encompass the Rejecters of Faith!- [RK]:They challenge you to bring retribution! Hell already surrounds the disbelievers.
336 | [29:66] Line:3406 |
| ||
[YA]: Disdaining ungratefully Our gifts, and giving themselves up to (worldly) enjoyment! But soon will they know. [RK]:Let them disbelieve in what we have given them, and let them enjoy temporarily; they will surely find out.
337 | [29:67] Line:3407 |
| ||
[YA]: Do they not then see that We have made a sanctuary secure, and that men are being snatched away from all around them? Then, do they believe in that which is vain, and reject the Grace of Allah? [RK]:Have they not seen that we have established a Sacred Sanctuary that we made secure, while all around them the people are in constant danger? Would they still believe in falsehood, and reject GOD's blessings?
338 | [29:68] Line:3408 |
| ||
[YA]: And who does more wrong than he who invents a lie against Allah or rejects the Truth when it reaches him? Is there not a home in Hell for those who reject Faith? [RK]:Who is more evil than one who fabricates lies and attributes them to GOD, or rejects the truth when it comes to him? Is Hell not a just retribution for the disbelievers?
339 | [30:8] Line:3417 |
| ||
[YA]: Do they not reflect in their own minds? Not but for just ends and for a term appointed, did Allah create the heavens and the earth, and all between them: yet are there truly many among men who deny the meeting with their Lord (at the Resurrection)! [RK]:Why do they not reflect on themselves? GOD did not create the heavens and the earth, and everything between them, except for a specific purpose, and for a specific life span. However, most people, with regard to meeting their Lord, are disbelievers.
340 | [30:13] Line:3422 |
| ||
[YA]: No intercessor will they have among their "Partners" and they will (themselves) reject their "Partners". [RK]:Their idols will have no power to intercede on their behalf; on the contrary, they will disown their idols.
341 | [30:16] Line:3425 |
| ||
[YA]: And those who have rejected Faith and falsely denied our Signs and the meeting of the Hereafter,- such shall be brought forth to Punishment. [RK]:As for those who disbelieve, and reject our revelations and the meeting of the Hereafter, they will last in the retribution forever.
342 | [30:34] Line:3443 |
| ||
[YA]: (As if) to show their ingratitude for the (favours) We have bestowed on them! Then enjoy (your brief day); but soon will ye know (your folly). [RK]:Let them be unappreciative of what we have given them. Enjoy temporarily; you will surely find out.
343 | [30:44] Line:3453 |
| ||
[YA]: Those who reject Faith will suffer from that rejection: and those who work righteousness will spread their couch (of repose) for themselves (in heaven): [RK]:Whoever disbelieves, disbelieves to the detriment of his own soul, while those who lead a righteous life, do so to strengthen and develop their own souls.
344 | [30:44] Line:3453 |

345 | [30:45] Line:3454 |
| ||
[YA]: That He may reward those who believe and work righteous deeds, out of his Bounty. For He loves not those who reject Faith. [RK]:For He will generously recompense those who believe and lead a righteous life from His bounties. He does not love the disbelievers.
346 | [30:51] Line:3460 |
| ||
[YA]: And if We (but) send a Wind from which they see (their tilth) turn yellow,- behold, they become, thereafter, Ungrateful (Unbelievers)! [RK]:Had we sent upon them instead a yellow sandstorm, they would have continued to disbelieve.
347 | [30:58] Line:3467 |
| ||
[YA]: verily We have propounded for men, in this Qur'an every kind of Parable: But if thou bring to them any Sign, the Unbelievers are sure to say, "Ye do nothing but talk vanities." [RK]:Thus, we have cited for the people in this Quran all kinds of examples. Yet, no matter what kind of proof you present to the disbelievers, they say, "You are falsifiers."
348 | [31:12] Line:3481 |
| ||
[YA]: we bestowed (in the past) Wisdom on Luqman: "Show (thy) gratitude to Allah." Any who is (so) grateful does so to the profit of his own soul: but if any is ungrateful, verily Allah is free of all wants, Worthy of all praise. [RK]:We have endowed Luqmaan with wisdom: "You shall be appreciative of GOD." Whoever is appreciative is appreciative for his own good. As for those who turn unappreciative, GOD is in no need, Praiseworthy.
349 | [31:23] Line:3492 |
| ||
[YA]: But if any reject Faith, let not his rejection grieve thee: to Us is their return, and We shall tell them the truth of their deeds: for Allah knows well all that is in (men's) hearts. [RK]:As for those who disbelieve, do not be saddened by their disbelief. To us is their ultimate return, then we will inform them of everything they had done. GOD is fully aware of the innermost thoughts.
