Walan tarda AAanka alyahoodu walaalnnasara hatta tattabiAAamillatahum qul inna huda Allahi huwa alhudawala-ini ittabaAAta ahwaahum baAAda allathee jaakamina alAAilmi ma laka mina Allahi min waliyyin walanaseerin

ولن ترضي عنك اليهود ولاالنصاري حتي تتبع ملتهم قل ان هدي الله هو الهدي ولئن اتبعت اهواءهم بعد الذي جاءك من العلم مالك من الله من ولي ولانصير

[YA]: Never will the Jews or the Christians be satisfied with thee unless thou follow their form of religion. Say: "The Guidance of Allah,-that is the (only) Guidance." Wert thou to follow their desires after the knowledge which hath reached thee, then wouldst thou find neither Protector nor helper against Allah.

[RK]:Neither the Jews, nor the Christians, will accept you, unless you follow their religion. Say, "GOD's guidance is the true guidance." If you acquiesce to their wishes, despite the knowledge you have received, you will find no ally or supporter to help you against GOD.

Qad nara taqalluba wajhika fee alssama-ifalanuwalliyannaka qiblatan tardaha fawalli wajhakashatra almasjidi alharami wahaythu makuntum fawalloo wujoohakum shatrahu wa-inna allatheenaootoo alkitaba layaAAlamoona annahu alhaqqu minrabbihim wama Allahu bighafilin AAammayaAAmaloona

قد نري تقلب وجهك في السماء فلنولينك قبلة ترضاها فول وجهك شطر المسجد الحرام وحيث ماكنتم فولوا وجوهكم شطره وان الذين اوتوا الكتاب ليعلمون انه الحق من ربهم وما الله بغافل عما يعملون

[YA]: We see the turning of thy face (for guidance to the heavens: now Shall We turn thee to a Qibla that shall please thee. Turn then Thy face in the direction of the sacred Mosque: Wherever ye are, turn your faces in that direction. The people of the Book know well that that is the truth from their Lord. Nor is Allah unmindful of what they do.

[RK]:We have seen you turning your face about the sky (searching for the right direction). We now assign a Qiblah that is pleasing to you. Henceforth, you shall turn your face towards the Sacred Masjid. Wherever you may be, all of you shall turn your faces towards it. Those who received the previous scripture know that this is the truth from their Lord. GOD is never unaware of anything they do.

Qul aonabbi-okum bikhayrin min thalikumlillatheena ittaqaw AAinda rabbihim jannatun tajreemin tahtiha al-anharu khalideena feehawaazwajun mutahharatun waridwanunmina Allahi waAllahu baseerun bialAAibadi

قل اؤنبئكم بخير من ذلكم للذين اتقوا عند ربهم جنات تجري من تحتها الانهار خالدين فيها وازواج مطهرة ورضوان من الله والله بصير بالعباد

[YA]: Say: Shall I give you glad tidings of things Far better than those? For the righteous are Gardens in nearness to their Lord, with rivers flowing beneath; therein is their eternal home; with companions pure (and holy); and the good pleasure of Allah. For in Allah's sight are (all) His servants,-

[RK]:Say, "Let me inform you of a much better deal: for those who lead a righteous life, reserved at their Lord, are gardens with flowing streams, and pure spouses, and joy in GOD's blessings." GOD is Seer of His worshipers.

Waalmuhsanatu mina alnnisa-iilla ma malakat aymanukum kitaba AllahiAAalaykum waohilla lakum ma waraa thalikuman tabtaghoo bi-amwalikum muhsineena ghayra musafiheenafama istamtaAAtum bihi minhunna faatoohunnaojoorahunna fareedatan wala junaha AAalaykumfeema taradaytum bihi min baAAdi alfareedatiinna Allaha kana AAaleeman hakeeman

والمحصنات من النساء الا ماملكت ايمانكم كتاب الله عليكم واحل لكم ماوراء ذلكم ان تبتغوا باموالكم محصنين غير مسافحين فمااستمتعم به منهن فاتوهن اجورهن فريضة ولاجناح عليكم فيما تراضيتم به من بعد الفريضة ان الله كان عليما حكيما

[YA]: Also (prohibited are) women already married, except those whom your right hands possess: Thus hath Allah ordained (Prohibitions) against you: Except for these, all others are lawful, provided ye seek (them in marriage) with gifts from your property,- desiring chastity, not lust, seeing that ye derive benefit from them, give them their dowers (at least) as prescribed; but if, after a dower is prescribed, agree Mutually (to vary it), there is no blame on you, and Allah is All-knowing, All-wise.

[RK]:Also prohibited are the women who are already married, unless they flee their disbelieving husbands who are at war with you. These are GOD's commandments to you. All other categories are permitted for you in marriage, so long as you pay them their due dowries. You shall maintain your morality, by not committing adultery. Thus, whoever you like among them, you shall pay them the dowry decreed for them. You commit no error by mutually agreeing to any adjustments to the dowry. GOD is Omniscient, Most Wise.

Yastakhfoona mina alnnasi walayastakhfoona mina Allahi wahuwa maAAahum ithyubayyitoona ma la yarda mina alqawli wakanaAllahu bima yaAAmaloona muheetan

يستخفون من الناس ولايستخفون من الله وهو معهم اذ يبيتون مالايرضي من القول وكان الله بما يعملون محيطا

[YA]: They may hide (Their crimes) from men, but they cannot hide (Them) from Allah, seeing that He is in their midst when they plot by night, in words that He cannot approve: And Allah Doth compass round all that they do.

[RK]:They hide from the people, and do not care to hide from GOD, though He is with them as they harbor ideas He dislikes. GOD is fully aware of everything they do.

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tuhilloo shaAAa-ira Allahi walaalshshahra alharama wala alhadya walaalqala-ida wala ammeena albayta alharamayabtaghoona fadlan min rabbihim waridwananwa-itha halaltum faistadoo walayajrimannakum shanaanu qawmin an saddookum AAanialmasjidi alharami an taAAtadoo wataAAawanooAAala albirri waalttaqwa wala taAAawanooAAala al-ithmi waalAAudwani waittaqooAllaha inna Allaha shadeedu alAAiqabi

ياايها الذين امنوا لاتحلوا شعائر الله ولاالشهر الحرام ولاالهدي ولا القلائد ولاامين البيت الحرام يبتغون فضلا من ربهم ورضوانا واذا حللتم فاصطادوا ولايجرمنكم شنان قوم ان صدوكم عن المسجد الحرام ان تعتدوا وتعاونوا علي البر والتقوي ولاتعاونوا علي الاثم والعدوان واتقوا الله ان الله شديد العقاب

[YA]: O ye who believe! Violate not the sanctity of the symbols of Allah, nor of the sacred month, nor of the animals brought for sacrifice, nor the garlands that mark out such animals, nor the people resorting to the sacred house, seeking of the bounty and good pleasure of their Lord. But when ye are clear of the sacred precincts and of pilgrim garb, ye may hunt and let not the hatred of some people in (once) shutting you out of the Sacred Mosque lead you to transgression (and hostility on your part). Help ye one another in righteousness and piety, but help ye not one another in sin and rancour: fear Allah: for Allah is strict in punishment.

[RK]:O you who believe, do not violate the rites instituted by GOD, nor the Sacred Months, nor the animals to be offered, nor the garlands marking them, nor the people who head for the Sacred Shrine (Ka`bah) seeking blessings from their Lord and approval. Once you complete the pilgrimage, you may hunt. Do not be provoked into aggression by your hatred of people who once prevented you from going to the Sacred Masjid. You shall cooperate in matters of righteousness and piety; do not cooperate in matters that are sinful and evil. You shall observe GOD. GOD is strict in enforcing retribution.

Hurrimat AAalaykumu almaytatu waalddamuwalahmu alkhinzeeri wama ohilla lighayri Allahibihi waalmunkhaniqatu waalmawqoothatu waalmutaraddiyatuwaalnnateehatu wama akala alssabuAAuilla ma thakkaytum wama thubihaAAala alnnusubi waan tastaqsimoo bial-azlamithalikum fisqun alyawma ya-isa allatheena kafaroomin deenikum fala takhshawhum waikhshawni alyawmaakmaltu lakum deenakum waatmamtu AAalaykum niAAmatee waradeetulakumu al-islama deenan famani idturra fee makhmasatinghayra mutajanifin li-ithmin fa-inna Allahaghafoorun raheemun

حرمت عليكم الميتة والدم ولحم الخنزير ومااهل لغير الله به والمنخنقة والموقوذة والمتردية والنطيحة ومااكل السبع الا ماذكيتم وماذبح علي النصب وان تستقسموا بالازلام ذلك فسق اليوم يئس الذين كفروا من دينكم فلا تخشوهم واخشون اليوم اكملت لكم دينكم واتممت عليكم نعمتي ورضيت لكم الاسلام دينا فمن اضطر في مخمصة غير متجانف لاثم فان الله غفور رحيم

[YA]: Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah; that which hath been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by being gored to death; that which hath been (partly) eaten by a wild animal; unless ye are able to slaughter it (in due form); that which is sacrificed on stone (altars); (forbidden) also is the division (of meat) by raffling with arrows: that is impiety. This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion: yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if any is forced by hunger, with no inclination to transgression, Allah is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

[RK]:Prohibited for you are animals that die of themselves, blood, the meat of pigs, and animals dedicated to other than GOD. (Animals that die of themselves include those) strangled, struck with an object, fallen from a height, gored, attacked by a wild animal - unless you save your animal before it dies - and animals sacrificed on altars. Also prohibited is dividing the meat through a game of chance; this is an abomination. Today, the disbelievers have given up concerning (the eradication of) your religion; do not fear them and fear Me instead. Today, I have completed your religion, perfected My blessing upon you, and I have decreed Submission as the religion for you. If one is forced by famine (to eat prohibited food), without being deliberately sinful, then GOD is Forgiver, Merciful.

Qala Allahu hathayawmu yanfaAAu alssadiqeena sidquhum lahumjannatun tajree min tahtiha al-anharukhalideena feeha abadan radiya AllahuAAanhum waradoo AAanhu thalika alfawzu alAAatheemu

قال الله هذا يوم ينفع الصادقين صدقهم لهم جنات تجري من تحتها الانهار خالدين فيها ابدا رضي الله عنهم ورضوا عنه ذلك الفوز العظيم

[YA]: Allah will say: "This is a day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: theirs are gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,- their eternal Home: Allah well-pleased with them, and they with Allah: That is the great salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires).

[RK]:GOD will proclaim, "This is a day when the truthful will be saved by their truthfulness." They have deserved gardens with flowing streams. They abide therein forever. GOD is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him. This is the greatest triumph.

يبشرهم ربهم برحمة منه ورضوان وجنات لهم فيها نعيم مقيم

[YA]: Their Lord doth give them glad tidings of a Mercy from Himself, of His good pleasure, and of gardens for them, wherein are delights that endure:

[RK]:Their Lord gives them good news: mercy and approval from Him, and gardens where they rejoice in everlasting bliss.

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooma lakum itha qeela lakumu infiroo fee sabeeli Allahiiththaqaltum ila al-ardi aradeetum bialhayatialddunya mina al-akhirati fama mataAAualhayati alddunya fee al-akhiratiilla qaleelun

ياايها الذين امنوا مالكم اذا قيل لكم انفروا في سبيل الله اثاقلتم الي الارض ارضيتم بالحياة الدنيا من الاخرة فما متاع الحياة الدنيا في الاخرة الا قليل

[YA]: O ye who believe! what is the matter with you, that, when ye are asked to go forth in the cause of Allah, ye cling heavily to the earth? Do ye prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter? But little is the comfort of this life, as compared with the Hereafter.

[RK]:O you who believe, when you are told, "Mobilize in the cause of GOD," why do you become heavily attached to the ground? Have you chosen this worldly life in place of the Hereafter? The materials of this world, compared to the Hereafter, are nil.

Yahlifoona biAllahilakum liyurdookum waAllahu warasooluhu ahaqquan yurdoohu in kanoo mu/mineena

يحلفون بالله لكم ليرضوكم والله ورسوله احق ان يرضوه ان كانوا مؤمنين

[YA]: To you they swear by Allah. In order to please you: But it is more fitting that they should please Allah and His Messenger, if they are Believers.

[RK]:They swear by GOD to you, to please you, when GOD and His messenger are more worthy of pleasing, if they are really believers.

WaAAada Allahu almu/mineena waalmu/minatijannatin tajree min tahtiha al-anharukhalideena feeha wamasakina tayyibatanfee jannati AAadnin waridwanun mina Allahiakbaru thalika huwa alfawzu alAAatheemu

وعد الله المؤمنين والمؤمنات جنات تجري من تحتها الانهار خالدين فيها ومساكن طيبة في جنات عدن ورضوان من الله اكبر ذلك هو الفوز العظيم

[YA]: Allah hath promised to Believers, men and women, gardens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein, and beautiful mansions in gardens of everlasting bliss. But the greatest bliss is the good pleasure of Allah: that is the supreme felicity.

[RK]:GOD promises the believing men and the believing women gardens with flowing streams, wherein they abide forever, and magnificent mansions in the gardens of Eden. And GOD's blessings and approval are even greater. This is the greatest triumph.

Fa-in rajaAAaka Allahu ila ta-ifatinminhum faista/thanooka lilkhurooji faqul lantakhrujoo maAAiya abadan walan tuqatiloo maAAiya AAaduwwaninnakum radeetum bialquAAoodi awwala marratin faoqAAudoomaAAa alkhalifeena

فان رجعك الله الي طائفة منهم فاستاذنوك للخروج فقل لن تخرجوا معي ابدا ولن تقاتلوا معي عدوا انكم رضيتم بالقعود اول مرة فاقعدوا مع الخالفين

[YA]: If, then, Allah bring thee back to any of them, and they ask thy permission to come out (with thee), say: "Never shall ye come out with me, nor fight an enemy with me: for ye preferred to sit inactive on the first occasion: Then sit ye (now) with those who lag behind."

[RK]:If GOD returns you to a situation where they ask your permission to mobilize with you, you shall say, "You will never again mobilize with me, nor will you ever fight with me against any enemy. For you have chosen to be with the sedentary in the first place. Therefore, you must stay with the sedentary."

Yahlifoona lakum litardawAAanhum fa-in tardaw AAanhum fa-inna Allaha layarda AAani alqawmi alfasiqeena

يحلفون لكم لترضوا عنهم فان ترضوا عنهم فان الله لايرضي عن القوم الفاسقين

[YA]: They will swear unto you, that ye may be pleased with them but if ye are pleased with them, Allah is not pleased with those who disobey.

[RK]:They swear to you, that you may pardon them. Even if you pardon them, GOD does not pardon such wicked people.

يحلفون لكم لترضوا عنهم فان ترضوا عنهم فان الله لايرضي عن القوم الفاسقين

Waalssabiqoona al-awwaloonamina almuhajireena waal-ansari waallatheenaittabaAAoohum bi-ihsanin radiya AllahuAAanhum waradoo AAanhu waaAAadda lahum jannatintajree tahtaha al-anharu khalideenafeeha abadan thalika alfawzu alAAatheemu

والسابقون الاولون من المهاجرين والانصار والذين اتبعوهم باحسان رضي الله عنهم ورضوا عنه واعد لهم جنات تجري تحتها الانهار خالدين فيها ابدا ذلك الفوز العظيم

[YA]: The vanguard (of Islam)- the first of those who forsook (their homes) and of those who gave them aid, and (also) those who follow them in (all) good deeds,- well-pleased is Allah with them, as are they with Him: for them hath He prepared gardens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein for ever: that is the supreme felicity.

[RK]:As for the early vanguards who immigrated (Muhajerin), and the supporters who gave them refuge (Ansar) and those who followed them in righteousness, GOD is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him. He has prepared for them gardens with flowing streams, wherein they abide forever. This is the greatest triumph.

Afaman assasa bunyanahu AAalataqwa mina Allahi waridwanin khayrunam man assasa bunyanahu AAala shafa jurufinharin fainhara bihi fee narijahannama waAllahu la yahdee alqawma alththalimeena

افمن اسس بنيانه علي تقوي منالله ورضوان خير امن اسس بنيانه علي شفا جرف هار فانهار به في نار جهنم والله لايهدي القوم الظالمين

[YA]: Which then is best? - he that layeth his foundation on piety to Allah and His good pleasure? - or he that layeth his foundation on an undermined sand-cliff ready to crumble to pieces? and it doth crumble to pieces with him, into the fire of Hell. And Allah guideth not people that do wrong.

[RK]:Is one who establishes his building on the basis of reverencing GOD and to gain His approval better, or one who establishes his building on the brink of a crumbling cliff, that falls down with him into the fire of Hell? GOD does not guide the transgressing people.

Inna allatheena la yarjoona liqaanawaradoo bialhayati alddunyawaitmaannoo biha waallatheenahum AAan ayatina ghafiloona

ان الذين لايرجون لقاءنا ورضوا بالحياة الدنيا واطمانوا بها والذين هم عن اياتنا غافلون

[YA]: Those who rest not their hope on their meeting with Us, but are pleased and satisfied with the life of the present, and those who heed not Our Signs,-

[RK]:Those who are not expecting to meet us, and are preoccupied with this worldly life, and are content with it, and refuse to heed our proofs;

Yarithunee wayarithu min ali yaAAqoobawaijAAalhu rabbi radiyyan

يرثني ويرث من ال يعقوب واجعله رب رضيا

[YA]: "(One that) will (truly) represent me, and represent the posterity of Jacob; and make him, O my Lord! one with whom Thou art well-pleased!"

[RK]:"Let him be my heir and the heir of Jacob's clan, and make him, my Lord, acceptable."

Fala yasuddannaka AAanhaman la yu/minu biha waittabaAAa hawahufatarda

فلا يصدنك عنها من لايؤمن بها واتبع هواه فتردي

[YA]: "Therefore let not such as believe not therein but follow their own lusts, divert thee therefrom, lest thou perish!"..

[RK]:"Do not be diverted therefrom by those who do not believe in it - those who pursue their own opinions - lest you fall.

Qala hum ola-i AAalaatharee waAAajiltu ilayka rabbi litarda

قال هم اولاء علي اثري وعجلت اليك رب لترضي

[YA]: He replied: "Behold, they are close on my footsteps: I hastened to thee, O my Lord, to please thee."

[RK]:He said, "They are close behind me. I have rushed to You my Lord, that You may be pleased."

Yawma-ithin la tanfaAAu alshshafaAAatuilla man athina lahu alrrahmanuwaradiya lahu qawlan

يومئذ لاتنفع الشفاعة الا من اذن له الرحمن ورضي له قولا

[YA]: On that Day shall no intercession avail except for those for whom permission has been granted by (Allah) Most Gracious and whose word is acceptable to Him.

[RK]:On that day, intercession will be useless, except for those permitted by the Most Gracious, and whose utterances conform to His will.

Faisbir AAala mayaqooloona wasabbih bihamdi rabbika qabla tulooAAialshshamsi waqabla ghuroobiha wamin ana-iallayli fasabbih waatrafa alnnaharilaAAallaka tarda

فاصبر علي مايقولون وسبح بحمد ربك قبل طلوع الشمس وقبل غروبها ومن اناء الليل فسبح واطراف النهار لعلك ترضي

[YA]: Therefore be patient with what they say, and celebrate (constantly) the praises of thy Lord, before the rising of the sun, and before its setting; yea, celebrate them for part of the hours of the night, and at the sides of the day: that thou mayest have (spiritual) joy.

[RK]:Therefore, be patient in the face of their utterances, and praise and glorify your Lord before sunrise and before sunset. And during the night glorify Him, as well as at both ends of the day, that you may be happy.

YaAAlamu ma bayna aydeehim wamakhalfahum wala yashfaAAoona illa limani irtadawahum min khashyatihi mushfiqoona

يعلم مابين ايديهم وماخلفهم ولايشفعون الا لمن ارتضي وهم من خشيته مشفقون

[YA]: He knows what is before them, and what is behind them, and they offer no intercession except for those who are acceptable, and they stand in awe and reverence of His (Glory).

[RK]:He knows their future and their past. They do not intercede, except for those already accepted by Him, and they are worried about their own necks.

WaAAada Allahu allatheena amanoominkum waAAamiloo alssalihatilayastakhlifannahum fee al-ardi kama istakhlafaallatheena min qablihim walayumakkinanna lahum deenahumuallathee irtada lahum walayubaddilannahum minbaAAdi khawfihim amnan yaAAbudoonanee la yushrikoona beeshay-an waman kafara baAAda thalika faola-ika humualfasiqoona

وعد الله الذين امنوا منكم وعملوا الصالحات ليستخلفنهم في الارض كما استخلف الذين من قبلهم وليمكنن لهم دينهم الذي ارتضي لهم وليبدلنهم من بعد خوفهم امنا يعبدونني لايشركون بي شيئا ومن كفر بعد ذلك فاولئك هم الفاسقون

[YA]: Allah has promised, to those among you who believe and work righteous deeds, that He will, of a surety, grant them in the land, inheritance (of power), as He granted it to those before them; that He will establish in authority their religion - the one which He has chosen for them; and that He will change (their state), after the fear in which they (lived), to one of security and peace: 'They will worship Me (alone) and not associate aught with Me. 'If any do reject Faith after this, they are rebellious and wicked.

[RK]:GOD promises those among you who believe and lead a righteous life, that He will make them sovereigns on earth, as He did for those before them, and will establish for them the religion He has chosen for them, and will substitute peace and security for them in place of fear. All this because they worship Me alone; they never set up any idols beside Me. Those who disbelieve after this are the truly wicked.

Fatabassama dahikan min qawlihawaqala rabbi awziAAnee an ashkura niAAmataka allateeanAAamta AAalayya waAAala walidayya waan aAAmala salihantardahu waadkhilnee birahmatika fee AAibadikaalssaliheena

فتبسم ضاحكا من قولها وقال رب اوزعني ان اشكر نعمتك التي انعمت علي وعلي والدي وان اعمل صالحا ترضاه وادخلني برحمتك في عبادك الصالحين

[YA]: So he smiled, amused at her speech; and he said: "O my Lord! so order me that I may be grateful for Thy favours, which thou hast bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may work the righteousness that will please Thee: And admit me, by Thy Grace, to the ranks of Thy righteous Servants."

[RK]:He smiled and laughed at her statement, and said, "My Lord, direct me to be appreciative of the blessings You have bestowed upon me and my parents, and to do the righteous works that please You. Admit me by Your mercy into the company of Your righteous servants."

Waawrathakum ardahum wadiyarahumwaamwalahum waardan lam tataooha wakanaAllahu AAala kulli shay-in qadeeran

واورثكم ارضهم وديارهم واموالهم وارضا لم تطؤوها وكان الله علي كل شئ قديرا

[YA]: And He made you heirs of their lands, their houses, and their goods, and of a land which ye had not frequented (before). And Allah has power over all things.

[RK]:He made you inherit their land, their homes, their money, and lands you had never stepped on. GOD is in full control of all things.

ترجي من تشاء منهن وتؤوي اليك من تشاء ومن ابتغيت ممن عزلت فلا جناح عليك ذلك ادني ان تقر اعينهن ولايحزن ويرضين بما اتيتهن كلهن والله يعلم مافي قلوبكم وكان الله عليما حليما

[YA]: Thou mayest defer (the turn of) any of them that thou pleasest, and thou mayest receive any thou pleasest: and there is no blame on thee if thou invite one whose (turn) thou hadst set aside. This were nigher to the cooling of their eyes, the prevention of their grief, and their satisfaction - that of all of them - with that which thou hast to give them: and Allah knows (all) that is in your hearts: and Allah is All-Knowing, Most Forbearing.

[RK]:You may gently shun any one of them, and you may bring closer to you any one of them. If you reconcile with any one you had estranged, you commit no error. In this way, they will be pleased, will have no grief, and will be content with what you equitably offer to all of them. GOD knows what is in your hearts. GOD is Omniscient, Clement.

[YA]: He said: "By Allah! thou wast little short of bringing me to perdition!

[RK]:He (will go to him and) say, "By GOD, you almost ruined me.

ان تكفروا فان الله غني عنكم ولايرضي لعباده الكفر وان تشكروا يرضه لكم ولاتزر وازرة وزر اخري ثم الي ربكم مرجعكم فينبئكم بما كنتم تعملون انه عليم بذات الصدور

[YA]: If ye reject (Allah), Truly Allah hath no need of you; but He liketh not ingratitude from His servants: if ye are grateful, He is pleased with you. No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another. In the end, to your Lord is your Return, when He will tell you the truth of all that ye did (in this life). for He knoweth well all that is in (men's) hearts.

[RK]:If you disbelieve, GOD does not need anyone. But He dislikes to see His servants make the wrong decision. If you decide to be appreciative, He is pleased for you. No soul bears the sins of any other soul. Ultimately, to your Lord is your return, then He will inform you of everything you had done. He is fully aware of the innermost thoughts.

Wawassayna al-insanabiwalidayhi ihsanan hamalat-hu ommuhukurhan wawadaAAat-hu kurhan wahamluhu wafisaluhuthalathoona shahran hatta ithabalagha ashuddahu wabalagha arbaAAeena sanatan qala rabbiawziAAnee an ashkura niAAmataka allatee anAAamta AAalayya waAAalawalidayya waan aAAmala salihan tardahuwaaslih lee fee thurriyyatee innee tubtuilayka wa-innee mina almuslimeena

ووصينا الانسان بوالديه احسانا حملته امه كرها ووضعته كرها وحمله وفصاله ثلاثون شهرا حتي اذا بلغ اشده وبلغ اربعين سنة قال رب اوزعني ان اشكر نعمتك التي انعمت علي وعلي والدي وان اعمل صالحا ترضاه واصلح لي في ذريتي اني تبت اليك واني من المسلمين

[YA]: We have enjoined on man kindness to his parents: In pain did his mother bear him, and in pain did she give him birth. The carrying of the (child) to his weaning is (a period of) thirty months. At length, when he reaches the age of full strength and attains forty years, he says, "O my Lord! Grant me that I may be grateful for Thy favour which Thou has bestowed upon me, and upon both my parents, and that I may work righteousness such as Thou mayest approve; and be gracious to me in my issue. Truly have I turned to Thee and truly do I bow (to Thee) in Islam."

[RK]:We enjoined the human being to honor his parents. His mother bore him arduously, gave birth to him arduously, and took intimate care of him for thirty months. When he reaches maturity, and reaches the age of forty, he should say, "My Lord, direct me to appreciate the blessings You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and to do the righteous works that please You. Let my children be righteous as well. I have repented to You; I am a submitter."

Laqad radiya Allahu AAanialmu/mineena ith yubayiAAoonaka tahta alshshajaratifaAAalima ma fee quloobihim faanzala alsakeenataAAalayhim waathabahum fathan qareeban

لقد رضي الله عن المؤمنين اذ يبايعونك تحت الشجرة فعلم مافي قلوبهم فانزل السكينة عليهم واثابهم فتحا قريبا

[YA]: Allah's Good Pleasure was on the Believers when they swore Fealty to thee under the Tree: He knew what was in their hearts, and He sent down Tranquillity to them; and He rewarded them with a speedy Victory;

[RK]:GOD is pleased with the believers who pledged allegiance to you under the tree. He knew what was in their hearts and, consequently, He blessed them with contentment, and rewarded them with an immediate victory.

محمد رسول الله والذين معه اشداء علي الكفار رحماء بينهم تراهم ركعا سجدا يبتغون فضلا من الله ورضوانا سيماهم في وجوههم من اثر السجود ذلك مثلهم في التوراة ومثلهم في الانجيل كزرع اخرج شطاه فازره فاستغلظ فاستوي علي سوقه يعجب الزراع ليغيظ بهم الكفار وعد الله الذين امنوا وعملوا الصالحات منهم مغفرة واجرا عظيما

[YA]: Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other. Thou wilt see them bow and prostrate themselves (in prayer), seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. On their faces are their marks, (being) the traces of their prostration. This is their similitude in the Taurat; and their similitude in the Gospel is: like a seed which sends forth its blade, then makes it strong; it then becomes thick, and it stands on its own stem, (filling) the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result, it fills the Unbelievers with rage at them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness, and a great Reward.

[RK]:Muhammad - the messenger of GOD - and those with him are harsh and stern against the disbelievers, but kind and compassionate amongst themselves. You see them bowing and prostrating, as they seek GOD's blessings and approval. Their marks are on their faces, because of prostrating. This is the same example as in the Torah. Their example in the Gospel is like plants that grow taller and stronger, and please the farmers. He thus enrages the disbelievers. GOD promises those among them who believe, and lead a righteous life, forgiveness and a great recompense.

وكم من ملك في السماوات لاتغني شفاعتهم شيئا الا من بعد ان ياذن الله لمن يشاء ويرضي

[YA]: How many-so-ever be the angels in the heavens, their intercession will avail nothing except after Allah has given leave for whom He pleases and that he is acceptable to Him.

[RK]:Not even the angels in heaven possess authority to intercede. The only ones permitted by GOD are those who act in accordance with His will and His approval.

اعلموا انما الحياة الدنيا لعب ولهو وزينة وتفاخر بينكم وتكاثر في الاموال والاولاد كمثل غيث اعجب الكفار نباته ثم يهيج فتراه مصفرا ثم يكون حطاما وفي الاخرة عذاب شديد ومغفرة من الله ورضوان وماالحياة الدنيا الا متاع الغرور

[YA]: Know ye (all), that the life of this world is but play and amusement, pomp and mutual boasting and multiplying, (in rivalry) among yourselves, riches and children. Here is a similitude: How rain and the growth which it brings forth, delight (the hearts of) the tillers; soon it withers; thou wilt see it grow yellow; then it becomes dry and crumbles away. But in the Hereafter is a Penalty severe (for the devotees of wrong). And Forgiveness from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure (for the devotees of Allah). And what is the life of this world, but goods and chattels of deception?

[RK]:Know that this worldly life is no more than play and games, and boasting among you, and hoarding of money and children. It is like abundant rain that produces plants and pleases the disbelievers. But then the plants turn into useless hay, and are blown away by the wind. In the Hereafter there is either severe retribution, or forgiveness from GOD and approval. This worldly life is no more than a temporary illusion.

لاتجد قوما يؤمنون بالله واليوم الاخر يوادون من حاد الله ورسوله ولو كانوا اباءهم او ابناءهم او اخوانهم او عشيرتهم اولئك كتب في قلوبهم الايمان وايدهم بروح منه ويدخلهم جنات تجري من تحتها الانهار خالدين فيها رضي الله عنهم ورضوا عنه اولئك حزب الله الا ان حزب الله هم المفلحون

[YA]: Thou wilt not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, loving those who resist Allah and His Messenger, even though they were their fathers or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred. For such He has written Faith in their hearts, and strengthened them with a spirit from Himself. And He will admit them to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein (for ever). Allah will be well pleased with them, and they with Him. They are the Party of Allah. Truly it is the Party of Allah that will achieve Felicity.

[RK]:You will not find people who believe in GOD and the Last Day befriending those who oppose GOD and His messenger, even if they were their parents, or their children, or their siblings, or their tribe. For these, He decrees faith into their hearts, and supports them with inspiration from Him, and admits them into gardens with flowing streams wherein they abide forever. GOD is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him. These are the party of GOD. Most assuredly, GOD's party are the winners.

للفقراء المهاجرين الذين اخرجوا من ديارهم واموالهم يبتغون فضلا من الله ورضوانا وينصرون الله ورسوله اولئك هم الصادقون

[YA]: (Some part is due) to the indigent Muhajirs, those who were expelled from their homes and their property, while seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure, and aiding Allah and His Messenger: such are indeed the sincere ones:-

[RK]:(You shall give) to the needy who immigrated. They were evicted from their homes and deprived of their properties, because they sought GOD's grace and pleasure, and because they supported GOD and His messenger. They are the truthful.

[RK]:Only to a messenger that He chooses, does He reveal from the past and the future, specific news.

[YA]: "Come back thou to thy Lord,- well pleased (thyself), and well-pleasing unto Him!

[YA]: Nor will his wealth profit him when he falls headlong (into the Pit).

[YA]: And soon will they attain (complete) satisfaction.

[RK]:He will certainly attain salvation.

[YA]: And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased.

Jazaohum AAinda rabbihim jannatuAAadnin tajree min tahtiha al-anharu khalideenafeeha abadan radiya Allahu AAanhum waradooAAanhu thalika liman khashiya rabbahu

جزاؤهم عند ربهم جنات عدن تجري من تحتها الانهار خالدين فيها ابدا رضي الله عنهم ورضوا عنه ذلك لمن خشي ربه

[YA]: Their reward is with Allah: Gardens of Eternity, beneath which rivers flow; they will dwell therein for ever; Allah well pleased with them, and they with Him: all this for such as fear their Lord and Cherisher.

[RK]:Their reward at their Lord is the gardens of Eden with flowing streams, wherein they abide forever. GOD is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him. Such is the reward for those who reverence their Lord.
