[YA]: Verily thy Lord doth provide sustenance in abundance for whom He pleaseth, and He provideth in a just measure. For He doth know and regard all His servants. [RK]:For your Lord increases the provision for anyone He chooses, and reduces it. He is fully Cognizant of His creatures, Seer.
52 | [17:36] Line:2065 |
| ||
[YA]: And pursue not that of which thou hast no knowledge; for every act of hearing, or of seeing or of (feeling in) the heart will be enquired into (on the Day of Reckoning). [RK]:You shall not accept any information, unless you verify it for yourself. I have given you the hearing, the eyesight, and the brain, and you are responsible for using them.
53 | [17:59] Line:2088 |
| ||
[YA]: And We refrain from sending the signs, only because the men of former generations treated them as false: We sent the she-camel to the Thamud to open their eyes, but they treated her wrongfully: We only send the Signs by way of terror (and warning from evil). [RK]:What stopped us from sending the miracles is that the previous generations have rejected them. For example, we showed Thamoud the camel, a profound (miracle), but they transgressed against it. We sent the miracles only to instill reverence.
54 | [17:96] Line:2125 |
| ||
[YA]: Say: "Enough is Allah for a witness between me and you: for He is well acquainted with His servants, and He sees (all things). [RK]:Say, "GOD suffices as a witness between me and you. He is fully Cognizant of His worshipers, Seer."
55 | [17:102] Line:2131 |
| ||
[YA]: Moses said, "Thou knowest well that these things have been sent down by none but the Lord of the heavens and the earth as eye-opening evidence: and I consider thee indeed, O Pharaoh, to be one doomed to destruction!" [RK]:He said, "You know full well that no one can manifest these except, obviously, the Lord of the heavens and the earth. I think that you, Pharaoh, are doomed."
56 | [18:26] Line:2166 |
| ||
[YA]: Say: "Allah knows best how long they stayed: with Him is (the knowledge of) the secrets of the heavens and the earth: how clearly He sees, how finely He hears (everything)! They have no protector other than Him; nor does He share His Command with any person whatsoever. [RK]:Say, "GOD is the best knower of how long they stayed there." He knows all secrets in the heavens and the earth. By His grace you can see; by His grace you can hear. There is none beside Him as Lord and Master, and He never permits any partners to share in His kingship.
57 | [19:38] Line:2288 |
| ||
[YA]: How plainly will they see and hear, the Day that they will appear before Us! but the unjust today are in error manifest! [RK]:Wait till you hear them and see them when they come to face us. The transgressors on that day will be totally lost.
58 | [19:42] Line:2292 |
| ||
[YA]: Behold, he said to his father: "O my father! why worship that which heareth not and seeth not, and can profit thee nothing? [RK]:He said to his father, "O my father, why do you worship what can neither hear, nor see, nor help you in any way?
59 | [20:35] Line:2383 |
| ||
[YA]: "For Thou art He that (ever) regardeth us." [RK]:"You are Seer of us."
60 | [20:96] Line:2444 |
| ||
[YA]: He replied: "I saw what they saw not: so I took a handful (of dust) from the footprint of the Messenger, and threw it (into the calf): thus did my soul suggest to me." [RK]:He said, "I saw what they could not see. I grabbed a fistful (of dust) from the place where the messenger stood, and used it (to mix into the golden calf). This is what my mind inspired me to do."
61 | [20:96] Line:2444 |

[YA]: He replied: "I saw what they saw not: so I took a handful (of dust) from the footprint of the Messenger, and threw it (into the calf): thus did my soul suggest to me." [RK]:He said, "I saw what they could not see. I grabbed a fistful (of dust) from the place where the messenger stood, and used it (to mix into the golden calf). This is what my mind inspired me to do."
62 | [20:125] Line:2473 |
| ||
[YA]: He will say: "O my Lord! why hast Thou raised me up blind, while I had sight (before)?" [RK]:He will say, "My Lord, why did you summon me blind, when I used to be a seer?"
63 | [21:3] Line:2486 |
| ||
[YA]: Their hearts toying as with trifles. The wrong-doers conceal their private counsels, (saying), "Is this (one) more than a man like yourselves? Will ye go to witchcraft with your eyes open?" [RK]:Their minds are heedless. And the transgressors confer secretly: "Is he not just a human being like you? Would you accept the magic that is presented to you?"
64 | [21:97] Line:2580 |
| ||
[YA]: Then will the true promise draw nigh (of fulfilment): then behold! the eyes of the Unbelievers will fixedly stare in horror: "Ah! Woe to us! we were indeed heedless of this; nay, we truly did wrong!" [RK]:That is when the inevitable prophecy will come to pass, and the disbelievers will stare in horror: "Woe to us; we have been oblivious. Indeed, we have been wicked."
65 | [22:46] Line:2641 |
| ||
[YA]: Do they not travel through the land, so that their hearts (and minds) may thus learn wisdom and their ears may thus learn to hear? Truly it is not their eyes that are blind, but their hearts which are in their breasts. [RK]:Did they not roam the earth, then use their minds to understand, and use their ears to hear? Indeed, the real blindness is not the blindness of the eyes, but the blindness of the hearts inside the chests.
66 | [22:61] Line:2656 |
| ||
[YA]: That is because Allah merges night into day, and He merges day into night, and verily it is Allah Who hears and sees (all things). [RK]:It is a fact that GOD merges the night into the day, and merges the day into the night, and that GOD is Hearer, Seer.
67 | [22:75] Line:2670 |
| ||
[YA]: Allah chooses messengers from angels and from men for Allah is He Who hears and sees (all things). [RK]:GOD chooses from among the angels messengers, as well as from among the people. GOD is Hearer, Seer.
68 | [23:78] Line:2751 |
| ||

| ||
[YA]: Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: And Allah is well acquainted with all that they do. [RK]:Tell the believing men that they shall subdue their eyes (and not stare at the women), and to maintain their chastity. This is purer for them. GOD is fully Cognizant of everything they do.
70 | [24:31] Line:2822 |
| ||
[YA]: And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband's fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or the slaves whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O ye Believers! turn ye all together towards Allah, that ye may attain Bliss. [RK]:And tell the believing women to subdue their eyes, and maintain their chastity. They shall not reveal any parts of their bodies, except that which is necessary. They shall cover their chests, and shall not relax this code in the presence of other than their husbands, their fathers, the fathers of their husbands, their sons, the sons of their husbands, their brothers, the sons of their brothers, the sons of their sisters, other women, the male servants or employees whose sexual drive has been nullified, or the children who have not reached puberty. They shall not strike their feet when they walk in order to shake and reveal certain details of their bodies. All of you shall repent to GOD, O you believers, that you may succeed.
71 | [24:37] Line:2828 |

[YA]: By men whom neither traffic nor merchandise can divert from the Remembrance of Allah, nor from regular Prayer, nor from the practice of regular Charity: Their (only) fear is for the Day when hearts and eyes will be transformed (in a world wholly new),- [RK]:People who are not distracted by business or trade from commemorating GOD; they observe the Contact Prayers (Salat), and give the obligatory charity (Zakat), and they are conscious of the day when the minds and the eyes will be horrified.
72 | [24:43] Line:2834 |
| ||
[YA]: Seest thou not that Allah makes the clouds move gently, then joins them together, then makes them into a heap? - then wilt thou see rain issue forth from their midst. And He sends down from the sky mountain masses (of clouds) wherein is hail: He strikes therewith whom He pleases and He turns it away from whom He pleases, the vivid flash of His lightning well-nigh blinds the sight. [RK]:Do you not realize that GOD drives the clouds, then gathers them together, then piles them on each other, then you see the rain coming out of them? He sends down from the sky loads of snow to cover whomever He wills, while diverting it from whomever He wills. The brightness of the snow almost blinds the eyes.
73 | [24:44] Line:2835 |
| ||
[YA]: It is Allah Who alternates the Night and the Day: verily in these things is an instructive example for those who have vision! [RK]:GOD controls the night and day. This should be a lesson for those who possess eyes.

| ||
[YA]: And the messengers whom We sent before thee were all (men) who ate food and walked through the streets: We have made some of you as a trial for others: will ye have patience? for Allah is One Who sees (all things). [RK]:We did not send any messengers before you who did not eat food and walk in the markets. We thus test you by each other; will you steadfastly persevere? Your Lord is Seer.
75 | [27:13] Line:3172 |
| ||
[YA]: But when Our Signs came to them, that should have opened their eyes, they said: "This is sorcery manifest!" [RK]:When our miracles were presented to them, clear and profound, they said, "This is obviously magic."
76 | [27:54] Line:3213 |
| ||
[YA]: (We also sent) Lut (as a messenger): behold, He said to his people, "Do ye do what is shameful though ye see (its iniquity)? [RK]:Lot said to his people, "How could you commit such an abomination, publicly, while you see?
77 | [27:86] Line:3245 |
| ||
[YA]: See they not that We have made the Night for them to rest in and the Day to give them light? Verily in this are Signs for any people that believe! 79 | [28:43] Line:3295 |
| ||
[YA]: We did reveal to Moses the Book after We had destroyed the earlier generations, (to give) Insight to men, and guidance and Mercy, that they might receive admonition. [RK]:We gave Moses the scripture - after having annihilated the previous generations, and after setting the examples through them - to provide enlightenment for the people, and guidance, and mercy, that they may take heed.
80 | [28:72] Line:3324 |
| ||
[YA]: Say: See ye? If Allah were to make the day perpetual over you to the Day of Judgment, what god is there other than Allah, who can give you a night in which ye can rest? Will ye not then see? [RK]:Say, "What if GOD made the daylight perpetual, until the Day of Resurrection? Which god, other than GOD, can provide you with a night for your rest? Do you not see?"
81 | [29:38] Line:3378 |
| ||
[YA]: (Remember also) the 'Ad and the Thamud (people): clearly will appear to you from (the traces) of their buildings (their fate): the Evil One made their deeds alluring to them, and kept them back from the Path, though they were gifted with intelligence and skill. [RK]:Similarly, 'Aad and Thamoud (were annihilated). This is made manifest to you through their ruins. The devil had adorned their works in their eyes, and had diverted them from the path, even though they had eyes.
82 | [31:28] Line:3497 |
| ||
[YA]: And your creation or your resurrection is in no wise but as an individual soul: for Allah is He Who hears and sees (all things). [RK]:The creation and resurrection of all of you is the same as that of one person. GOD is Hearer, Seer.

We have seen and we have heard: Now then send us back (to the world): we will work righteousness: for we do indeed (now) believe." [RK]:If only you could see the guilty when they bow down their heads before their Lord: "Our Lord, now we have seen and we have heard. Send us back and we will be righteous. Now we have attained certainty."
85 | [32:27] Line:3530 |
| ||
[YA]: And do they not see that We do drive rain to parched soil (bare of herbage), and produce therewith crops, providing food for their cattle and themselves? Have they not the vision? [RK]:Do they not realize that we drive the water to barren lands, and produce with it crops to feed their livestock, as well as themselves? Do they not see?
86 | [33:9] Line:3542 |
| ||
[YA]: O ye who believe! Remember the Grace of Allah, (bestowed) on you, when there came down on you hosts (to overwhelm you): But We sent against them a hurricane and forces that ye saw not: but Allah sees (clearly) all that ye do. [RK]:O you who believe, remember GOD's blessing upon you; when soldiers attacked you, we sent upon them violent wind and invisible soldiers. GOD is Seer of everything you do.
87 | [33:10] Line:3543 |

| ||
[YA]: (Commanding), "Make thou coast of mail, balancing well the rings of chain armour, and work ye righteousness; for be sure I see (clearly) all that ye do." [RK]:"You may make shields that fit perfectly, and work righteousness. Whatever you do, I am Seer thereof."
89 | [35:19] Line:3679 |
| ||
[YA]: The blind and the seeing are not alike; [RK]:The blind and the seer are not equal.
90 | [35:31] Line:3691 |
| ||
[YA]: That which We have revealed to thee of the Book is the Truth,- confirming what was (revealed) before it: for Allah is assuredly- with respect to His Servants - well acquainted and Fully Observant. [RK]:What we revealed to you in this scripture is the truth, consummating all previous scriptures. GOD is fully Cognizant of His servants, Seer.
91 | [35:45] Line:3705 |
| ||
[YA]: If Allah were to punish men according to what they deserve. He would not leave on the back of the (earth) a single living creature: but He gives them respite for a stated Term: when their Term expires, verily Allah has in His sight all His Servants. [RK]:If GOD punished the people for their sins, He would not leave a single creature on earth. But He respites them for a predetermined interim. 93 | [36:66] Line:3771 |
| ||
[YA]: If it had been our Will, We could surely have blotted out their eyes; then should they have run about groping for the Path, but how could they have seen? [RK]:If we will, we can veil their eyes and, consequently, when they seek the path, they will not see.
94 | [37:175] Line:3963 |
| ||
[YA]: And watch them (how they fare), and they soon shall see (how thou farest)! [RK]:Watch them; they too will watch.
95 | [37:175] Line:3963 |
| ||
[YA]: And watch them (how they fare), and they soon shall see (how thou farest)! [RK]:Watch them; they too will watch.
96 | [37:179] Line:3967 |
| ||
