[YA]: Or, Who originates creation, then repeats it, and who gives you sustenance from heaven and earth? (Can there be another) god besides Allah? Say, "Bring forth your argument, if ye are telling the truth!" [RK]:Who is the One who initiates the creation, then repeats it? Who is the One who provides for you from the heaven and the earth? Is it another god with GOD? Say, "Show me your proof, if you are truthful."
552 | [27:77] Line:3236 |
| ||
[YA]: And it certainly is a Guide and a Mercy to those who believe. [RK]:And most assuredly, it is a guide and mercy for the believers.
553 | [27:81] Line:3240 |
| ||
[YA]: Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam. [RK]:Nor can you guide the blind out of their straying. The only ones who will hear you are those who believe in our revelations, and decide to be submitters.
554 | [27:86] Line:3245 |
| ||
[YA]: See they not that We have made the Night for them to rest in and the Day to give them light? Verily in this are Signs for any people that believe! [RK]:Have they not seen that we made the night for their rest, and the day lighted? These should be sufficient proofs for people who believe.
555 | [27:89] Line:3248 |
| ||
[YA]: If any do good, good will (accrue) to them therefrom; and they will be secure from terror that Day. [RK]:Those who bring good works (in their records) will receive far better rewards, and they will be perfectly secure from the horrors of that day.
556 | [28:3] Line:3255 |
| ||
[YA]: We rehearse to thee some of the story of Moses and Pharaoh in Truth, for people who believe. [RK]:We recite to you herein some history of Moses and Pharaoh, truthfully, for the benefit of people who believe.
557 | [28:10] Line:3262 |
| ||
[YA]: But there came to be a void in the heart of the mother of Moses: She was going almost to disclose his (case), had We not strengthened her heart (with faith), so that she might remain a (firm) believer. [RK]:The mind of Moses' mother was growing so anxious that she almost gave away his identity. But we strengthened her heart, to make her a believer.
558 | [28:31] Line:3283 |
| ||
[YA]: "Now do thou throw thy rod!" but when he saw it moving (of its own accord) as if it had been a snake, he turned back in retreat, and retraced not his steps: O Moses!" (It was said), "Draw near, and fear not: for thou art of those who are secure. [RK]:"Throw down your staff." When he saw it moving like a demon, he turned around and fled. "O Moses, come back; do not be afraid. You are perfectly safe.
559 | [28:47] Line:3299 |
| ||
[YA]: If (We had) not (sent thee to the Quraish),- in case a calamity should seize them for (the deeds) that their hands have sent forth, they might say: "Our Lord! why didst Thou not sent us a messenger? We should then have followed Thy Signs and been amongst those who believe!" [RK]:Thus, they cannot say, when a disaster strikes them as a consequence of their own deeds, "Our Lord, had You sent a messenger to us, we would have followed Your revelations, and would have been believers."
560 | [28:52] Line:3304 |
| ||
[YA]: Those to whom We sent the Book before this,- they do believe in this (revelation): [RK]:Those whom we blessed with the previous scriptures will believe in this.
561 | [28:53] Line:3305 |
| ||
[YA]: And when it is recited to them, they say: "We believe therein, for it is the Truth from our Lord: indeed we have been Muslims (bowing to Allah's Will) from before this. [RK]:When it is recited to them, they will say, "We believe in it. This is the truth from our Lord. Even before we heard of it, we were submitters."
562 | [28:57] Line:3309 |
| ||
[YA]: They say: "If we were to follow the guidance with thee, we should be snatched away from our land." Have We not established for them a secure sanctuary, to which are brought as tribute fruits of all kinds,- a provision from Ourselves? but most of them understand not. [RK]:They said, "If we follow your guidance, we will suffer persecution." Did we not establish for them a Sacred Sanctuary, to which all kinds of fruits are offered, as a provision from us? Indeed, most of them do not know.
563 | [28:67] Line:3319 |
| ||
[YA]: But any that (in this life) had repented, believed, and worked righteousness, will have hopes to be among those who achieve salvation. [RK]:As for those who repent, believe, and lead a righteous life, they will end up with the winners.
564 | [28:80] Line:3332 |
| ||
[YA]: But those who had been granted (true) knowledge said: "Alas for you! The reward of Allah (in the Hereafter) is best for those who believe and work righteousness: but this none shall attain, save those who steadfastly persevere (in good)." [RK]:As for those who were blessed with knowledge, they said, "Woe to you, GOD's recompense is far better for those who believe and lead a righteous life." None attains this except the steadfast.
565 | [29:2] Line:3342 |
| ||
[YA]: Do men think that they will be left alone on saying, "We believe", and that they will not be tested? [RK]:Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe," without being put to the test?
566 | [29:7] Line:3347 |
| ||
[YA]: Those who believe and work righteous deeds,- from them shall We blot out all evil (that may be) in them, and We shall reward them according to the best of their deeds. [RK]:Those who believe and lead a righteous life, we will certainly remit their sins, and will certainly reward them generously for their righteous works.
567 | [29:9] Line:3349 |
| ||
[YA]: And those who believe and work righteous deeds,- them shall We admit to the company of the Righteous. [RK]:Those who believe and lead a righteous life, we will certainly admit them with the righteous.
568 | [29:10] Line:3350 |
| ||
[YA]: Then there are among men such as say, "We believe in Allah"; but when they suffer affliction in (the cause of) Allah, they treat men's oppression as if it were the Wrath of Allah! And if help comes (to thee) from thy Lord, they are sure to say, "We have (always) been with you!" Does not Allah know best all that is in the hearts of all creation? [RK]:Among the people there are those who say, "We believe in GOD," but as soon as they suffer any hardship because of GOD, they equate the people's persecution with GOD's retribution. But if blessings from your Lord come your way, they say, "We were with you." Is GOD not fully aware of the people's innermost thoughts?
569 | [29:11] Line:3351 |
| ||
[YA]: And Allah most certainly knows those who believe, and as certainly those who are Hypocrites. [RK]:GOD will most certainly distinguish those who believe, and He will most certainly expose the hypocrites.
570 | [29:12] Line:3352 |
| ||
[YA]: And the Unbelievers say to those who believe: "Follow our path, and we will bear (the consequences) of your faults." Never in the least will they bear their faults: in fact they are liars! [RK]:Those who disbelieved said to those who believed, "If you follow our way, we will be responsible for your sins." Not true; they cannot bear any of their sins. They are liars.
571 | [29:24] Line:3364 |
| ||
[YA]: So naught was the answer of (Abraham's) people except that they said: "Slay him or burn him." But Allah did save him from the Fire. Verily in this are Signs for people who believe. [RK]:The only response from his people was their saying, "Kill him, or burn him." But GOD saved him from the fire. This should provide lessons for people who believe.
572 | [29:26] Line:3366 |
| ||
[YA]: But Lut had faith in Him: He said: "I will leave home for the sake of my Lord: for He is Exalted in Might, and Wise." [RK]:Lot believed with him and said, "I am emigrating to my Lord. He is the Almighty, the Most Wise."
573 | [29:44] Line:3384 |
| ||
[YA]: Allah created the heavens and the earth in true (proportions): verily in that is a Sign for those who believe. [RK]:GOD created the heavens and the earth, truthfully. This provides a sufficient proof for the believers.
574 | [29:46] Line:3386 |
| ||
[YA]: And dispute ye not with the People of the Book, except with means better (than mere disputation), unless it be with those of them who inflict wrong (and injury): but say, "We believe in the revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you; Our Allah and your Allah is one; and it is to Him we bow (in Islam)." [RK]:Do not argue with the people of the scripture (Jews, Christians, and Muslims) except in the nicest possible manner - unless they transgress - and say, "We believe in what was revealed to us and in what was revealed to you, and our god and your god is one and the same; to Him we are submitters."
575 | [29:47] Line:3387 |
| ||
[YA]: And thus (it is) that We have sent down the Book to thee. So the People of the Book believe therein, as also do some of these (pagan Arabs): and none but Unbelievers reject our signs. [RK]:We have revealed to you this scripture, and those whom we blessed with the previous scripture will believe in it. Also, some of your people will believe in it. Indeed, those who disregard our revelations are the real disbelievers.
576 | [29:47] Line:3387 |

Indeed, those who disregard our revelations are the real disbelievers.
577 | [29:51] Line:3391 |
| ||
[YA]: And is it not enough for them that we have sent down to thee the Book which is rehearsed to them? Verily, in it is Mercy and a Reminder to those who believe. [RK]:Is it not enough of a miracle that we sent down to you this book, being recited to them? This is indeed a mercy and a reminder for people who believe.
578 | [29:52] Line:3392 |
| ||
[YA]: Say: "Enough is Allah for a witness between me and you: He knows what is in the heavens and on earth. And it is those who believe in vanities and reject Allah, that will perish (in the end). [RK]:Say, "GOD suffices as a witness between me and you. He knows everything in the heavens and the earth. Surely, those who believe in falsehood and disbelieve in GOD are the real losers."
579 | [29:56] Line:3396 |
| ||
[YA]: O My servants who believe! truly, spacious is My Earth: therefore serve ye Me - (and Me alone)! [RK]:O My servants who believed, My earth is spacious, so worship Me.
580 | [29:58] Line:3398 |
| ||
[YA]: But those who believe and work deeds of righteousness - to them shall We give a Home in Heaven,- lofty mansions beneath which flow rivers,- to dwell therein for aye;- an excellent reward for those who do (good)!- [RK]:Those who believe and lead a righteous life, we will surely settle them in Paradise, with mansions and flowing streams. Eternally they abide therein. What a beautiful reward for the workers.
581 | [29:67] Line:3407 |
| ||
[YA]: Do they not then see that We have made a sanctuary secure, and that men are being snatched away from all around them? Then, do they believe in that which is vain, and reject the Grace of Allah? [RK]:Have they not seen that we have established a Sacred Sanctuary that we made secure, while all around them the people are in constant danger? Would they still believe in falsehood, and reject GOD's blessings?
582 | [29:67] Line:3407 |
| ||

Would they still believe in falsehood, and reject GOD's blessings?
583 | [30:4] Line:3413 |
| ||
[YA]: Within a few years. With Allah is the Decision, in the past and in the Future: on that Day shall the Believers rejoice- [RK]:Within several years. Such is GOD's decision, both in the first prophecy, and the second. On that day, the believers shall rejoice.
584 | [30:15] Line:3424 |
| ||
[YA]: Then those who have believed and worked righteous deeds, shall be made happy in a Mead of Delight. [RK]:As for those who believe and lead a righteous life, they will be in Paradise, rejoicing.
585 | [30:37] Line:3446 |
| ||
[YA]: See they not that Allah enlarges the provision and restricts it, to whomsoever He pleases? Verily in that are Signs for those who believe. [RK]:Do they not realize that GOD increases the provision for whomever He wills, or reduces it? These should be lessons for people who believe.
586 | [30:45] Line:3454 |
| ||
[YA]: That He may reward those who believe and work righteous deeds, out of his Bounty. For He loves not those who reject Faith. [RK]:For He will generously recompense those who believe and lead a righteous life from His bounties. He does not love the disbelievers.
587 | [30:47] Line:3456 |
| ||
[YA]: We did indeed send, before thee, messengers to their (respective) peoples, and they came to them with Clear Signs: then, to those who transgressed, We meted out Retribution: and it was due from Us to aid those who believed. [RK]:We have sent messengers before you to their people, with profound signs. Subsequently, we punished those who transgressed. It is our duty that we grant victory to the believers.
588 | [30:53] Line:3462 |
| ||
[YA]: Nor canst thou lead back the blind from their straying: only those wilt thou make to hear, who believe in Our signs and submit (their wills in Islam). [RK]:Nor can you guide the blind out of their straying. You can only be heard by those who believe in our revelations, and decide to become submitters.
589 | [31:8] Line:3477 |
| ||
[YA]: For those who believe and work righteous deeds, there will be Gardens of Bliss,- [RK]:Surely, those who believe and lead a righteous life have deserved the gardens of bliss.
590 | [32:15] Line:3518 |
| ||
[YA]: Only those believe in Our Signs, who, when they are recited to them, fall down in prostration, and celebrate the praises of their Lord, nor are they (ever) puffed up with pride. [RK]:The only people who truly believe in our revelations are those who fall prostrate upon hearing them. They glorify and praise their Lord, without any arrogance.
591 | [32:18] Line:3521 |
| ||
[YA]: Is then the man who believes no better than the man who is rebellious and wicked? Not equal are they. [RK]:Is one who is a believer the same as one who is wicked? They are not equal.
592 | [32:19] Line:3522 |
| ||
[YA]: For those who believe and do righteous deeds are Gardens as hospitable homes, for their (good) deeds. [RK]:As for those who believe and lead a righteous life, they have deserved the eternal Paradise. Such is their abode, in return for their works.
593 | [33:6] Line:3539 |
| ||
[YA]: The Prophet is closer to the Believers than their own selves, and his wives are their mothers. Blood-relations among each other have closer personal ties, in the Decree of Allah. Than (the Brotherhood of) Believers and Muhajirs: nevertheless do ye what is just to your closest friends: such is the writing in the Decree (of Allah). [RK]:The prophet is closer to the believers than they are to each other, and his wives are like mothers to them. The relatives ought to take care of one another in accordance with GOD's scripture. Thus, the believers shall take care of their relatives who immigrate to them, provided they have taken care of their own families first. These are commandments of this scripture.
594 | [33:6] Line:3539 |

595 | [33:9] Line:3542 |
| ||
[YA]: O ye who believe! Remember the Grace of Allah, (bestowed) on you, when there came down on you hosts (to overwhelm you): But We sent against them a hurricane and forces that ye saw not: but Allah sees (clearly) all that ye do. [RK]:O you who believe, remember GOD's blessing upon you; when soldiers attacked you, we sent upon them violent wind and invisible soldiers. GOD is Seer of everything you do.
596 | [33:11] Line:3544 |
| ||
[YA]: In that situation were the Believers tried: they were shaken as by a tremendous shaking. [RK]:That is when the believers were truly tested; they were severely shaken up.
597 | [33:19] Line:3552 |
| ||
[YA]: Covetous over you. Then when fear comes, thou wilt see them looking to thee, their eyes revolving, like (those of) one over whom hovers death: but when the fear is past, they will smite you with sharp tongues, covetous of goods. Such men have no faith, and so Allah has made their deeds of none effect: and that is easy for Allah. [RK]:Also, they are too stingy when dealing with you. If anything threatens the community, you see their eyes rolling with fear, as if death had already come to them. Once the crisis is over, they whip you with sharp tongues. They are too stingy with their wealth. These are not believers, and, consequently, GOD has nullified their works. This is easy for GOD to do.
598 | [33:22] Line:3555 |
| ||
[YA]: When the Believers saw the Confederate forces, they said: "This is what Allah and his Messenger had promised us, and Allah and His Messenger told us what was true." And it only added to their faith and their zeal in obedience. [RK]:When the true believers saw the parties (ready to attack), they said, "This is what GOD and His messenger have promised us, and GOD and His messenger are truthful." This (dangerous situation) only strengthened their faith and augmented their submission.
599 | [33:23] Line:3556 |
| ||
[YA]: Among the Believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah: of them some have completed their vow (to the extreme), and some (still) wait: but they have never changed (their determination) in the least: [RK]:Among the believers there are people who fulfill their pledges with GOD. Some of them died, while others stand ready, never wavering.
600 | [33:25] Line:3558 |
| ||
[YA]: And Allah turned back the Unbelievers for (all) their fury: no advantage did they gain; and enough is Allah for the believers in their fight. And Allah is full of Strength, able to enforce His Will. [RK]:GOD repulsed those who disbelieved with their rage, and they left empty-handed. GOD thus spared the believers any fighting. GOD is Powerful, Almighty.
