[YA]: One day We shall raise from all Peoples a witness against them, from amongst themselves: and We shall bring thee as a witness against these (thy people): and We have sent down to thee the Book explaining all things, a Guide, a Mercy, and Glad Tidings to Muslims. [RK]:The day will come when we will raise from every community a witness from among them, and bring you as the witness of these people. We have revealed to you this book to provide explanations for everything, and guidance, and mercy, and good news for the submitters.

[YA]: When We substitute one revelation for another,- and Allah knows best what He reveals (in stages),- they say, "Thou art but a forger": but most of them understand not. [RK]:When we substitute one revelation in place of another, and GOD is fully aware of what He reveals, they say, "You made this up!" Indeed, most of them do not know.
153 | [16:102] Line:2003 |

[YA]: Say, the Holy Spirit has brought the revelation from thy Lord in Truth, in order to strengthen those who believe, and as a Guide and Glad Tidings to Muslims. [YA]: We send down (stage by stage) in the Qur'an that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe: to the unjust it causes nothing but loss after loss. [RK]:We send down in the Quran healing and mercy for the believers. At the same time, it only increases the wickedness of the transgressors.

[YA]: "Or thou have a house adorned with gold, or thou mount a ladder right into the skies. No, we shall not even believe in thy mounting until thou send down to us a book that we could read." Say: "Glory to my Lord! Am I aught but a man,- a messenger?" [RK]:"Or unless you own a luxurious mansion, or unless you climb into the sky. Even if you do climb, we will not believe unless you bring a book that we can read." Say, "Glory be to my Lord. Am I any more than a human messenger?"
156 | [17:95] Line:2124 |
| ||
[YA]: Say, "If there were settled, on earth, angels walking about in peace and quiet, We should certainly have sent them down from the heavens an angel for a messenger." [RK]:Say, "If the earth were inhabited by angels, we would have sent down to them from the sky an angel messenger."
157 | [17:102] Line:2131 |
| ||
[YA]: Moses said, "Thou knowest well that these things have been sent down by none but the Lord of the heavens and the earth as eye-opening evidence: and I consider thee indeed, O Pharaoh, to be one doomed to destruction!" [RK]:He said, "You know full well that no one can manifest these except, obviously, the Lord of the heavens and the earth. I think that you, Pharaoh, are doomed."
158 | [17:105] Line:2134 |
| ||
[YA]: We sent down the (Qur'an) in Truth, and in Truth has it descended: and We sent thee but to give Glad Tidings and to warn (sinners). [RK]:Truthfully, we sent it down, and with the truth it came down. We did not send you except as a bearer of good news, as well as a warner.

[YA]: (It is) a Qur'an which We have divided (into parts from time to time), in order that thou mightest recite it to men at intervals: We have revealed it by stages. [RK]:A Quran that we have released slowly, in order for you to read it to the people over a long period, although we sent it down all at once.

163 | [18:45] Line:2185 |

[YA]: Set forth to them the similitude of the life of this world: It is like the rain which we send down from the skies: the earth's vegetation absorbs it, but soon it becomes dry stubble, which the winds do scatter: it is (only) Allah who prevails over all things. [RK]:Cite for them the example of this life as water that we send down from the sky to produce plants of the earth, then they turn into hay that is blown away by the wind. GOD is able to do all things.
164 | [18:102] Line:2242 |
| ||
[YA]: Do the Unbelievers think that they can take My servants as protectors besides Me? Verily We have prepared Hell for the Unbelievers for (their) entertainment. 165 | [18:107] Line:2247 |

[YA]: As to those who believe and work righteous deeds, they have, for their entertainment, the Gardens of Paradise, [RK]:As for those who believe and lead a righteous life, they have deserved a blissful Paradise as their abode.

[YA]: (The angels say:) "We descend not but by command of thy Lord: to Him belongeth what is before us and what is behind us, and what is between: and thy Lord never doth forget,- [RK]:We do not come down except by the command of your Lord. To Him belongs our past, our future, and everything between them. Your Lord is never forgetful.
167 | [20:2] Line:2350 |
| ||
[YA]: We have not sent down the Qur'an to thee to be (an occasion) for thy distress, [RK]:We did not reveal the Quran to you, to cause you any hardship.
168 | [20:4] Line:2352 |

| ||
[YA]: "He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others. [RK]:He is the One who made the earth habitable for you, and paved in it roads for you. And He sends down from the sky water with which we produce many different kinds of plants.
170 | [20:80] Line:2428 |
| ||
[YA]: O ye Children of Israel! We delivered you from your enemy, and We made a Covenant with you on the right side of Mount (Sinai), and We sent down to you Manna and quails: [RK]:O Children of Israel, we delivered you from your enemy, summoned you to the right side of Mount Sinai, and we sent down to you manna and quails.
171 | [20:113] Line:2461 |
| ||
[YA]: Thus have We sent this down - an arabic Qur'an - and explained therein in detail some of the warnings, in order that they may fear Allah, or that it may cause their remembrance (of Him). [RK]:We thus revealed it, an Arabic Quran, and we cited in it all kinds of prophecies, that they may be saved, or it may cause them to take heed.
172 | [20:134] Line:2482 |
| ||
[YA]: And if We had inflicted on them a penalty before this, they would have said: "Our Lord! If only Thou hadst sent us a messenger, we should certainly have followed Thy Signs before we were humbled and put to shame." [RK]:Had we annihilated them before this, they would have said, "Our Lord, had You sent a messenger to us, we would have followed Your revelations, and would have avoided this shame and humiliation."
173 | [21:10] Line:2493 |
| ||
[YA]: We have revealed for you (O men!) a book in which is a Message for you: will ye not then understand? [RK]:We have sent down to you a scripture containing your message. Do you not understand?

| ||
[YA]: And this is a blessed Message which We have sent down: will ye then reject it? [RK]:This too is a blessed reminder that we sent down. Are you denying it?

[YA]: O mankind! if ye have a doubt about the Resurrection, (consider) that We created you out of dust, then out of sperm, then out of a leech-like clot, then out of a morsel of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed, in order that We may manifest (our power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term, then do We bring you out as babes, then (foster you) that ye may reach your age of full strength; and some of you are called to die, and some are sent back to the feeblest old age, so that they know nothing after having known (much), and (further), thou seest the earth barren and lifeless, but when We pour down rain on it, it is stirred (to life), it swells, and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs). [RK]:O people, if you have any doubt about resurrection, (remember that) we created you from dust, and subsequently from a tiny drop, which turns into a hanging (embryo), then it becomes a fetus that is given life or deemed lifeless. We thus clarify things for you. We settle in the wombs whatever we will for a predetermined period. We then bring you out as infants, then you reach maturity. While some of you die young, others live to the worst age, only to find out that no more knowledge can be attained beyond a certain limit. Also, you look at a land that is dead, then as soon as we shower it with water, it vibrates with life and grows all kinds of beautiful plants.
176 | [22:16] Line:2611 |
| ||
[YA]: Thus have We sent down Clear Signs; and verily Allah doth guide whom He will! [RK]:We have thus revealed clear revelations herein, then GOD guides whoever wills (to be guided).

178 | [22:71] Line:2666 |
| ||
[YA]: Yet they worship, besides Allah, things for which no authority has been sent down to them, and of which they have (really) no knowledge: for those that do wrong there is no helper. [RK]:Yet, they idolize beside GOD idols wherein He placed no power, and they know nothing about them. The transgressors have no helper.
179 | [23:18] Line:2691 |
| ||
[YA]: And We send down water from the sky according to (due) measure, and We cause it to soak in the soil; and We certainly are able to drain it off (with ease). [RK]:We send down from the sky water, in exact measure, then we store it in the ground. Certainly, we can let it escape.
180 | [23:24] Line:2697 |
| ||
[YA]: The chiefs of the Unbelievers among his people said: "He is no more than a man like yourselves: his wish is to assert his superiority over you: if Allah had wished (to send messengers), He could have sent down angels; never did we hear such a thing (as he says), among our ancestors of old." [RK]:The leaders who disbelieved among his people said, "This is no more than a human like you, who wants to gain prominence among you. Had GOD willed, He could have sent down angels. We never heard of anything like this from our ancestors.
181 | [23:29] Line:2702 |

[YA]: And say: "O my Lord! enable me to disembark with thy blessing: for Thou art the Best to enable (us) to disembark." [RK]:"And say, `My Lord, let me disembark onto a blessed location; You are the best deliverer.' "

184 | [24:1] Line:2792 |

[YA]: A sura which We have sent down and which We have ordained in it have We sent down Clear Signs, in order that ye may receive admonition. [RK]:A sura that we have sent down, and we have decreed as law. We have revealed in it clear revelations, that you may take heed.

[RK]:We have revealed to you clarifying revelations, and examples from the past generations, and an enlightenment for the righteous.
187 | [24:43] Line:2834 |
| ||
[YA]: Seest thou not that Allah makes the clouds move gently, then joins them together, then makes them into a heap? - then wilt thou see rain issue forth from their midst. And He sends down from the sky mountain masses (of clouds) wherein is hail: He strikes therewith whom He pleases and He turns it away from whom He pleases, the vivid flash of His lightning well-nigh blinds the sight. [RK]:Do you not realize that GOD drives the clouds, then gathers them together, then piles them on each other, then you see the rain coming out of them? He sends down from the sky loads of snow to cover whomever He wills, while diverting it from whomever He wills. The brightness of the snow almost blinds the eyes.
188 | [24:46] Line:2837 |
| ||
[YA]: We have indeed sent down signs that make things manifest: and Allah guides whom He wills to a way that is straight. [RK]:We have sent down to you clarifying revelations, then GOD guides whoever wills (to be guided) in a straight path.
189 | [25:1] Line:2856 |

191 | [25:7] Line:2862 |
| ||
[YA]: And they say: "What sort of a messenger is this, who eats food, and walks through the streets? Why has not an angel been sent down to him to give admonition with him? [RK]:And they said, "How come this messenger eats the food and walks in the markets? If only an angel could come down with him, to serve with him as a preacher!"
192 | [25:21] Line:2876 |
| ||
[YA]: Such as fear not the meeting with Us (for Judgment) say: "Why are not the angels sent down to us, or (why) do we not see our Lord?" Indeed they have an arrogant conceit of themselves, and mighty is the insolence of their impiety! [RK]:Those who do not expect to meet us said, "If only the angels could come down to us, or we could see our Lord (we would then believe)!" Indeed, they have committed a gross arrogance, and have produced a gross blasphemy.
193 | [25:25] Line:2880 |
| ||
[YA]: The Day the heaven shall be rent asunder with clouds, and angels shall be sent down, descending (in ranks),- [RK]:The heaven will break apart, into masses of clouds, and the angels will descend in multitudes.
194 | [25:25] Line:2880 |

Thus (is it revealed), that We may strengthen thy heart thereby, and We have rehearsed it to thee in slow, well-arranged stages, gradually. [RK]:Those who disbelieved said, "Why did not the Quran come through him all at once?" We have released it to you gradually, in order to fix it in your memory. We have recited it in a specific sequence.

197 | [26:4] Line:2936 |
