[YA]: Verily thy Lord will judge between them on the Day of Judgment, in the matters wherein they differ (among themselves) [RK]:Your Lord is the One who will judge them on the Day of Resurrection, regarding everything they disputed.
652 | [33:2] Line:3535 |
| ||
[YA]: But follow that which comes to thee by inspiration from thy Lord: for Allah is well acquainted with (all) that ye do. [RK]:Follow what is revealed to you from your Lord. GOD is fully Cognizant of everything you all do.
653 | [33:67] Line:3600 |
| ||
[YA]: And they would say: "Our Lord! We obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us as to the (right) Path. [RK]:They will also say, "Our Lord, we have obeyed our masters and leaders, but they led us astray.
654 | [33:68] Line:3601 |
| ||
[YA]: "Our Lord! Give them double Penalty and curse them with a very great Curse!" [RK]:"Our Lord, give them double the retribution, and curse them a tremendous curse."
655 | [34:3] Line:3609 |

[YA]: The Unbelievers say, "Never to us will come the Hour": Say, "Nay! but most surely, by my Lord, it will come upon you;- by Him Who knows the unseen,- from Whom is not hidden the least little atom in the heavens or on earth: Nor is there anything less than that, or greater, but is in the Record Perspicuous: [RK]:Those who disbelieve have said, "The Hour will never come to pass!" Say, "Absolutely - by my Lord - it will most certainly come to you. He is the Knower of the future. Not even the equivalent of an atom's weight is hidden from Him, be it in the heavens or the earth. Not even smaller than that, or larger (is hidden). All are in a profound record."
656 | [34:6] Line:3612 |
| ||
[YA]: And those to whom knowledge has come see that the (Revelation) sent down to thee from thy Lord - that is the Truth, and that it guides to the Path of the Exalted (in might), Worthy of all praise. [RK]:It is evident to those who are blessed with knowledge that this revelation from your Lord to you is the truth, and that it guides to the path of the Almighty, the Most Praiseworthy.
657 | [34:12] Line:3618 |

[YA]: And to Solomon (We made) the Wind (obedient): Its early morning (stride) was a month's (journey), and its evening (stride) was a month's (journey); and We made a Font of molten brass to flow for him; and there were Jinns that worked in front of him, by the leave of his Lord, and if any of them turned aside from our command, We made him taste of the Penalty of the Blazing Fire. [RK]:To Solomon we committed the wind at his disposal, traveling one month coming and one month going. And we caused a spring of oil to gush out for him. Also, the jinns worked for him, by his Lord's leave. Any one of them who disregarded our commands, we subjected him to a severe retribution.

[YA]: There was, for Saba, aforetime, a Sign in their home-land - two Gardens to the right and to the left. "Eat of the Sustenance (provided) by your Lord, and be grateful to Him: a territory fair and happy, and a Lord Oft-Forgiving! [RK]:Sheba's homeland used to be a marvel, with two gardens on the right and the left. Eat from your Lord's provisions, and be appreciative of Him - good land, and a forgiving Lord.

660 | [34:19] Line:3625 |

[YA]: But they said: "Our Lord! Place longer distances between our journey-stages": but they wronged themselves (therein). At length We made them as a tale (that is told), and We dispersed them all in scattered fragments. Verily in this are Signs for every (soul that is) patiently constant and grateful. [RK]:But they (turned unappreciative and) challenged: "Our Lord, we do not care if You increase the distance of our journeys (without any stations)." They thus wronged their own souls. Consequently, we made them history, and scattered them into small communities throughout the land. This should provide lessons for those who are steadfast, appreciative.
661 | [34:21] Line:3627 |
| ||
[YA]: But he had no authority over them,- except that We might test the man who believes in the Hereafter from him who is in doubt concerning it: and thy Lord doth watch over all things. [RK]:He never had any power over them. But we thus distinguish those who believe in the Hereafter from those who are doubtful about it. Your Lord is in full control of all things.
662 | [34:23] Line:3629 |

[YA]: "No intercession can avail in His Presence, except for those for whom He has granted permission. So far (is this the case) that, when terror is removed from their hearts (at the Day of Judgment, then) will they say, 'what is it that your Lord commanded?' they will say, 'That which is true and just; and He is the Most High Most Great'." [RK]:Intercession with Him will be in vain, unless it coincides with His will. When their minds are finally settled down, and they ask, "What did your Lord say," they will say, "The truth." He is the Most High, the Most Great.
663 | [34:26] Line:3632 |
| ||
[YA]: Say: "Our Lord will gather us together and will in the end decide the matter between us (and you) in truth and justice: and He is the one to decide, the One Who knows all." [RK]:Say, "Our Lord will gather us all together before Him, then He will judge between us equitably. He is the Judge, the Omniscient."
664 | [34:31] Line:3637 |
| ||
[YA]: The Unbelievers say: "We shall neither believe in this scripture nor in (any) that (came) before it." Couldst thou but see when the wrong-doers will be made to stand before their Lord, throwing back the word (of blame) on one another! Those who had been despised will say to the arrogant ones: "Had it not been for you, we should certainly have been believers!" [RK]:Those who disbelieve have said, "We will not believe in this Quran, nor in the previous scriptures." If you could only envision these transgressors when they stand before their Lord! They will argue with one another back and forth. The followers will tell their leaders, "If it were not for you, we would have been believers."
665 | [34:36] Line:3642 |
| ||
[YA]: Say: "Verily my Lord enlarges and restricts the Provision to whom He pleases, but most men understand not." [RK]:Say, "My Lord is the One who controls all provisions; He grants the provisions to whomever He wills, or reduces them, but most people do not know."
666 | [34:39] Line:3645 |
| ||
[YA]: Say: "Verily my Lord enlarges and restricts the Sustenance to such of his servants as He pleases: and nothing do ye spend in the least (in His cause) but He replaces it: for He is the Best of those who grant Sustenance. [RK]:Say, "My Lord is the One who controls all provisions; He increases the provisions for whomever He chooses from among His servants, or reduces them. Anything you spend (in the cause of God), He will reward you for it; He is the Best Provider."
667 | [34:48] Line:3654 |
| ||
[YA]: Say: "Verily my Lord doth cast the (mantle of) Truth (over His servants),- He that has full knowledge of (all) that is hidden." [RK]:Say, "My Lord causes the truth to prevail. He is the Knower of all secrets."
668 | [34:50] Line:3656 |
| ||
[YA]: Say: "If I am astray, I only stray to the loss of my own soul: but if I receive guidance, it is because of the inspiration of my Lord to me: it is He Who hears all things, and is (ever) near." [RK]:Say, "If I go astray, I go astray because of my own shortcomings. And if I am guided, it is because of my Lord's inspiration. He is Hearer, Near."
669 | [35:13] Line:3673 |
| ||
[YA]: He merges Night into Day, and he merges Day into Night, and he has subjected the sun and the moon (to his Law): each one runs its course for a term appointed. Such is Allah your Lord: to Him belongs all Dominion. And those whom ye invoke besides Him have not the least power. [RK]:He merges the night into the day, and merges the day into the night. He has committed the sun and the moon to run for a predetermined period of time. Such is GOD your Lord; to Him belongs all kingship. Any idols you set up beside Him do not possess as much as a seed's shell.
670 | [35:18] Line:3678 |
| ||
[YA]: Nor can a bearer of burdens bear another's burdens if one heavily laden should call another to (bear) his load. Not the least portion of it can be carried (by the other). Even though he be nearly related. Thou canst but admonish such as fear their Lord unseen and establish regular Prayer. And whoever purifies himself does so for the benefit of his own soul; and the destination (of all) is to Allah. [RK]:No soul can carry the sins of another soul. If a soul that is loaded with sins implores another to bear part of its load, no other soul can carry any part of it, even if they were related. The only people to heed your warnings are those who reverence their Lord, even when alone in their privacy, and observe the Contact Prayers (Salat). Whoever purifies his soul, does so for his own good. To GOD is the final destiny.
671 | [35:34] Line:3694 |
| ||
[YA]: And they will say: "Praise be to Allah, Who has removed from us (all) sorrow: for our Lord is indeed Oft-Forgiving Ready to appreciate (service): [RK]:They will say, "Praise GOD for removing all our worries. Our Lord is Forgiving, Appreciative.
672 | [35:37] Line:3697 |
| ||
[YA]: Therein will they cry aloud (for assistance): "Our Lord! Bring us out: we shall work righteousness, not the (deeds) we used to do!" - "Did We not give you long enough life so that he that would should receive admonition? and (moreover) the warner came to you. So taste ye (the fruits of your deeds): for the wrong-doers there is no helper." [RK]:They will scream therein, "Our Lord, if you get us out of here, we will work righteousness, instead of the works we used to do." Did we not give you a life-long chance, with continuous reminders for those who would take heed? Did you not receive the warner? Therefore, taste (the consequences). The transgressors will have no one to help them.
673 | [35:39] Line:3699 |
| ||
[YA]: He it is That has made you inheritors in the earth: if, then, any do reject (Allah), their rejection (works) against themselves: their rejection but adds to the odium for the Unbelievers in the sight of their Lord: their rejection but adds to (their own) undoing. [RK]:He is the One who made you inheritors of the earth. Subsequently, whoever chooses to disbelieve does so to his own detriment. The disbelief of the disbelievers only augments their Lord's abhorrence towards them. The disbelief of the disbelievers plunges them deeper into loss.
674 | [36:16] Line:3721 |
| ||
[YA]: They said: "Our Lord doth know that we have been sent on a mission to you: [RK]:They said, "Our Lord knows that we have been sent to you.
675 | [36:25] Line:3730 |
| ||
[YA]: "For me, I have faith in the Lord of you (all): listen, then, to me!" [RK]:"I have believed in your Lord; please listen to me."
676 | [36:27] Line:3732 |
| ||
[YA]: "For that my Lord has granted me Forgiveness and has enrolled me among those held in honour!" [RK]:"That my Lord has forgiven me, and made me honorable."
677 | [36:46] Line:3751 |
| ||
[YA]: Not a Sign comes to them from among the Signs of their Lord, but they turn away therefrom. [RK]:No matter what kind of proof is given to them from their Lord, they consistently disregard it.
678 | [36:51] Line:3756 |
| ||
[YA]: The trumpet shall be sounded, when behold! from the sepulchres (men) will rush forth to their Lord! [RK]:The horn will be blown, whereupon they will rise from the grave and go to their Lord.
679 | [36:58] Line:3763 |
| ||
[YA]: "Peace!" - a word (of salutation) from a Lord Most Merciful! [RK]:Greetings of peace from a Most Merciful Lord.
680 | [37:5] Line:3793 |
| ||
[YA]: Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun! [RK]:The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and everything between them, and Lord of the easts.
681 | [37:5] Line:3793 |
| ||
[YA]: Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun! [RK]:The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and everything between them, and Lord of the easts.
682 | [37:31] Line:3819 |
| ||
[YA]: "So now has been proved true, against us, the word of our Lord that we shall indeed (have to) taste (the punishment of our sins). [RK]:"We justly incurred our Lord's judgment; now we have to suffer.
683 | [37:57] Line:3845 |
| ||
[YA]: "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I should certainly have been among those brought (there)! [RK]:"If it were not for my Lord's blessing, I would have been with you now.
684 | [37:84] Line:3872 |
| ||
[YA]: Behold! he approached his Lord with a sound heart. [RK]:He came to his Lord wholeheartedly.
685 | [37:87] Line:3875 |
| ||
[YA]: "Then what is your idea about the Lord of the worlds?" [RK]:"What do you think of the Lord of the universe?"
686 | [37:99] Line:3887 |
| ||
[YA]: He said: "I will go to my Lord! He will surely guide me! [RK]:He said, "I am going to my Lord; He will guide me."
687 | [37:100] Line:3888 |
| ||
[YA]: "O my Lord! Grant me a righteous (son)!" [RK]:"My Lord, grant me righteous children."
688 | [37:126] Line:3914 |
| ||
[YA]: "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" [RK]:"GOD; your Lord, and the Lord of your forefathers!"
689 | [37:126] Line:3914 |
| ||
[YA]: "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" [RK]:"GOD; your Lord, and the Lord of your forefathers!"
690 | [37:149] Line:3937 |
| ||
[YA]: Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons?- [RK]:Ask them if your Lord have daughters, while they have sons!
691 | [37:180] Line:3968 |
| ||
[YA]: Glory to thy Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they ascribe (to Him)! [RK]:Glory be to your Lord, the great Lord; far above their claims.
692 | [37:180] Line:3968 |
| ||
[YA]: Glory to thy Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they ascribe (to Him)! [RK]:Glory be to your Lord, the great Lord; far above their claims.
693 | [37:182] Line:3970 |
| ||
[YA]: And Praise to Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds. [RK]:Praise be to GOD, Lord of the universe.
694 | [38:9] Line:3979 |
| ||
[YA]: Or have they the treasures of the mercy of thy Lord,- the Exalted in Power, the Grantor of Bounties without measure? [RK]:Do they own the treasures of mercy of your Lord, the Almighty, the Grantor.
695 | [38:16] Line:3986 |
| ||
[YA]: They say: "Our Lord! hasten to us our sentence (even) before the Day of Account!" [RK]:They challenged: "Our Lord, why do you not rush the retribution for us, before the Day of Reckoning."
696 | [38:24] Line:3994 |
| ||
[YA]: (David) said: "He has undoubtedly wronged thee in demanding thy (single) ewe to be added to his (flock of) ewes: truly many are the partners (in business) who wrong each other: Not so do those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and how few are they?"...and David gathered that We had tried him: he asked forgiveness of his Lord, fell down, bowing (in prostration), and turned (to Allah in repentance). [RK]:He said, "He is being unfair to you by asking to combine your sheep with his. Most people who combine their properties treat each other unfairly, except those who believe and work righteousness, and these are so few." Afterwards, David wondered if he made the right judgment. He thought that we were testing him. He then implored his Lord for forgiveness, bowed down, and repented.
697 | [38:32] Line:4002 |
| ||
[YA]: And he said, "Truly do I love the love of good, with a view to the glory of my Lord,"- until (the sun) was hidden in the veil (of night): [RK]:He then said, "I enjoyed the material things more than I enjoyed worshipping my Lord, until the sun was gone.
