[YA]: And commemorate Our Servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, possessors of Power and Vision. [RK]:Remember also our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. They were resourceful, and possessed vision.
202 | [38:83] Line:4053 |
| ||
[YA]: "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." [RK]:"Except Your worshipers who are devoted absolutely to You alone."
203 | [39:2] Line:4060 |
| ||
[YA]: Verily it is We Who have revealed the Book to thee in Truth: so serve Allah, offering Him sincere devotion. [RK]:We sent down to you this scripture, truthfully; you shall worship GOD, devoting your religion to Him alone.
204 | [39:3] Line:4061 |
| ||
[YA]: Is it not to Allah that sincere devotion is due? But those who take for protectors other than Allah (say): "We only serve them in order that they may bring us nearer to Allah." Truly Allah will judge between them in that wherein they differ. But Allah guides not such as are false and ungrateful. [RK]:Absolutely, the religion shall be devoted to GOD alone. Those who set up idols beside Him say, "We idolize them only to bring us closer to GOD; for they are in a better position!" GOD will judge them regarding their disputes. GOD does not guide such liars, disbelievers.
205 | [39:7] Line:4065 |
| ||
[YA]: If ye reject (Allah), Truly Allah hath no need of you; but He liketh not ingratitude from His servants: if ye are grateful, He is pleased with you. No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another. In the end, to your Lord is your Return, when He will tell you the truth of all that ye did (in this life). for He knoweth well all that is in (men's) hearts. [RK]:If you disbelieve, GOD does not need anyone. But He dislikes to see His servants make the wrong decision. If you decide to be appreciative, He is pleased for you. No soul bears the sins of any other soul. Ultimately, to your Lord is your return, then He will inform you of everything you had done. He is fully aware of the innermost thoughts.
206 | [39:10] Line:4068 |
| ||
[YA]: Say: "O ye my servants who believe! Fear your Lord, good is (the reward) for those who do good in this world. Spacious is Allah's earth! those who patiently persevere will truly receive a reward without measure!" [RK]:Say, "O My servants who believed, you shall reverence your Lord." For those who worked righteousness in this world, a good reward. GOD's earth is spacious, and those who steadfastly persevere will receive their recompense generously, without limits.
207 | [39:11] Line:4069 |
| ||
[YA]: Say: "Verily, I am commanded to serve Allah with sincere devotion; [RK]:Say, "I have been commanded to worship GOD, devoting the religion absolutely to Him alone.
208 | [39:14] Line:4072 |
| ||
[YA]: Say: "It is Allah I serve, with my sincere (and exclusive) devotion: [RK]:Say, "GOD is the only One I worship, devoting my religion absolutely to Him alone.
209 | [39:15] Line:4073 |
| ||
[YA]: "Serve ye what ye will besides him." Say: "Truly, those in loss are those who lose their own souls and their People on the Day of Judgment: Ah! that is indeed the (real and) evident Loss! [RK]:"Therefore, worship whatever you wish beside Him." Say, "The real losers are those who lose their souls, and their families, on the Day of Resurrection." Most certainly, this is the real loss.
210 | [39:16] Line:4074 |
| ||
[YA]: They shall have Layers of Fire above them, and Layers (of Fire) below them: with this doth Allah warn off his servants: "O My Servants! then fear ye Me!" [RK]:They will have masses of fire on top of them, and under them. GOD thus alerts His servants: O My servants, you shall reverence Me.
211 | [39:16] Line:4074 |

[YA]: They shall have Layers of Fire above them, and Layers (of Fire) below them: with this doth Allah warn off his servants: "O My Servants! then fear ye Me!" [RK]:They will have masses of fire on top of them, and under them. GOD thus alerts His servants: O My servants, you shall reverence Me.
212 | [39:17] Line:4075 |
| ||
[YA]: Those who eschew Evil,- and fall not into its worship,- and turn to Allah (in repentance),- for them is Good News: so announce the Good News to My Servants,- [RK]:As for those who discard the worship of all idols, and devote themselves totally to GOD alone, they have deserved happiness. Give good news to My servants.
213 | [39:17] Line:4075 |

Give good news to My servants.
214 | [39:36] Line:4094 |
| ||
[YA]: Is not Allah enough for his Servant? But they try to frighten thee with other (gods) besides Him! for such as Allah leaves to stray, there can be no guide. [RK]:Is GOD not sufficient for His servant? They frighten you with the idols they set up beside Him. Whomever GOD sends astray, nothing can guide him.
215 | [39:46] Line:4104 |
| ||
[YA]: Say: "O Allah! Creator of the heavens and the earth! Knower of all that is hidden and open! it is Thou that wilt judge between Thy Servants in those matters about which they have differed." [RK]:Proclaim: "Our god, Initiator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of all secrets and declarations, You are the only One who judges among Your servants regarding their disputes."
216 | [39:53] Line:4111 |
| ||
[YA]: Say: "O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. [RK]:Proclaim: "O My servants who exceeded the limits, never despair of GOD's mercy. For GOD forgives all sins. He is the Forgiver, Most Merciful."
217 | [39:64] Line:4122 |
| ||
[YA]: Say: "Is it some one other than Allah that ye order me to worship, O ye ignorant ones?" [RK]:Say, "Is it other than GOD you exhort me to worship, O you ignorant ones?"
218 | [39:66] Line:4124 |
| ||
[YA]: Nay, but worship Allah, and be of those who give thanks. [RK]:Therefore, you shall worship GOD alone, and be appreciative.
219 | [40:15] Line:4148 |

[YA]: Raised high above ranks (or degrees), (He is) the Lord of the Throne (of Authority): by His Command doth He send the Spirit (of inspiration) to any of His servants he pleases, that it may warn (men) of the Day of Mutual Meeting,- [RK]:Possessor of the highest ranks, and Ruler of the whole dominion. He sends inspiration, bearing His commands, to whomever He chooses from among His servants, to warn about the Day of Summoning.
220 | [40:31] Line:4164 |
| ||
[YA]: "Something like the fate of the People of Noah, the 'Ad, and the Thamud, and those who came after them: but Allah never wishes injustice to his Servants. [RK]:"The opponents of Noah, and `Aad, Thamoud, and others who came after them. GOD does not wish any injustice for the people.
221 | [40:44] Line:4177 |
| ||
[YA]: "Soon will ye remember what I say to you (now), My (own) affair I commit to Allah: for Allah (ever) watches over His Servants." [RK]:"Some day you will remember what I am telling you now. I leave the judgment of this matter to GOD; GOD is the Seer of all the people."
222 | [40:48] Line:4181 |
| ||
[YA]: Those who had been arrogant will say: "We are all in this (Fire)! Truly, Allah has judged between (his) Servants!" [RK]:The leaders will say, "We are all in this together. GOD has judged among the people."
223 | [40:60] Line:4193 |
| ||
[YA]: And your Lord says: "Call on Me; I will answer your (Prayer): but those who are too arrogant to serve Me will surely find themselves in Hell - in humiliation!" [RK]:Your Lord says, "Implore Me, and I will respond to you. Surely, those who are too arrogant to worship Me will enter Gehenna, forcibly."
224 | [40:66] Line:4199 |
| ||
[YA]: Say: "I have been forbidden to invoke those whom ye invoke besides Allah,- seeing that the Clear Signs have come to me from my Lord; and I have been commanded to bow (in Islam) to the Lord of the Worlds." [RK]:Say, "I have been enjoined from worshipping the idols you worship beside GOD, when the clear revelations came to me from my Lord. I was commanded to submit to the Lord of the universe."
225 | [40:85] Line:4218 |
| ||
[YA]: But their professing the Faith when they (actually) saw Our Punishment was not going to profit them. (Such has been) Allah's Way of dealing with His Servants (from the most ancient times). And even thus did the Rejecters of Allah perish (utterly)! [RK]:Their belief then could not help them in the least, once they saw our retribution. Such is GOD's system that has been established to deal with His creatures; the disbelievers are always doomed.
226 | [41:14] Line:4232 |
| ||
[YA]: Behold, the messengers came to them, from before them and behind them, (preaching): "Serve none but Allah." They said, "If our Lord had so pleased, He would certainly have sent down angels (to preach). Now we reject your mission (altogether)." [RK]:Their messengers went to them, as well as before them and after them, saying, "You shall not worship except GOD." They said, "Had our Lord willed, He could have sent angels. We are disbelievers in what you say."
227 | [41:37] Line:4255 |
| ||
[YA]: Among His Signs are the Night and the Day, and the Sun and the Moon. Do not prostrate to the sun and the moon, but prostrate to Allah, Who created them, if it is Him ye wish to serve. [RK]:Among His proofs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Do not prostrate before the sun, nor the moon; you shall fall prostrate before the GOD who created them, if you truly worship Him alone.
228 | [41:46] Line:4264 |
| ||
[YA]: Whoever works righteousness benefits his own soul; whoever works evil, it is against his own soul: nor is thy Lord ever unjust (in the least) to His Servants. [RK]:Whoever works righteousness does so for his own good, and whoever works evil does so to his own detriment. Your Lord is never unjust towards the people.
229 | [42:19] Line:4291 |
| ||
[YA]: Gracious is Allah to His servants: He gives Sustenance to whom He pleases: and He has power and can carry out His Will. [RK]:GOD is fully aware of all His creatures; He provides for whomever He wills. He is the Powerful, the Almighty.
230 | [42:23] Line:4295 |
| ||
[YA]: That is (the Bounty) whereof Allah gives Glad Tidings to His Servants who believe and do righteous deeds. Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this except the love of those near of kin." And if any one earns any good, We shall give him an increase of good in respect thereof: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Ready to appreciate (service). [RK]:This is the good news from GOD to His servants who believe and lead a righteous life. Say, "I do not ask you for any wage. I do ask each of you to take care of your own relatives." Anyone who does a righteous work, we multiply his reward for it. GOD is Forgiver, Appreciative.
231 | [42:25] Line:4297 |
| ||
[YA]: He is the One that accepts repentance from His Servants and forgives sins: and He knows all that ye do. [RK]:He is the One who accepts the repentance from His servants, and remits the sins. He is fully aware of everything you do.
232 | [42:27] Line:4299 |
| ||
[YA]: If Allah were to enlarge the provision for His Servants, they would indeed transgress beyond all bounds through the earth; but he sends (it) down in due measure as He pleases. For He is with His Servants Well-acquainted, Watchful. [RK]:If GOD increased the provision for His servants, they would transgress on earth. This is why He sends it precisely measured to whomever He wills. He is fully Cognizant and Seer of His servants.
233 | [42:27] Line:4299 |

234 | [42:52] Line:4324 |

[YA]: And thus have We, by Our Command, sent inspiration to thee: thou knewest not (before) what was Revelation, and what was Faith; but We have made the (Qur'an) a Light, wherewith We guide such of Our servants as We will; and verily thou dost guide (men) to the Straight Way,- [RK]:Thus, we inspired to you a revelation proclaiming our commandments. You had no idea about the scripture, or faith. Yet, we made this a beacon to guide whomever we choose from among our servants. Surely, you guide in a straight path.
235 | [43:15] Line:4340 |
| ||
[YA]: Yet they attribute to some of His servants a share with Him (in his godhead)! truly is man a blasphemous ingrate avowed! [RK]:They even assigned for Him a share from His own creation! Surely, the human being is profoundly unappreciative.
236 | [43:19] Line:4344 |
| ||
[YA]: And they make into females angels who themselves serve Allah. Did they witness their creation? Their evidence will be recorded, and they will be called to account! [RK]:They claimed that the angels, who are servants of the Most Gracious, are females! Have they witnessed their creation? Their claims are recorded, and they will be asked.
237 | [43:20] Line:4345 |
| ||
[YA]: ("Ah!") they say, "If it had been the will of (Allah) Most Gracious, we should not have worshipped such (deities)!" Of that they have no knowledge! they do nothing but lie! [RK]:They even said, "If the Most Gracious willed, we would not have worshipped them." They have no basis for such a claim; they only conjecture.
238 | [43:26] Line:4351 |
| ||
[YA]: Behold! Abraham said to his father and his people: "I do indeed clear myself of what ye worship: [RK]:Abraham said to his father and his people, "I disown what you worship.
239 | [43:45] Line:4370 |
| ||
[YA]: And question thou our messengers whom We sent before thee; did We appoint any deities other than (Allah) Most Gracious, to be worshipped? [RK]:Check the messengers we sent before you: "Have we ever appointed any other gods - beside the Most Gracious - to be worshipped?"
240 | [43:59] Line:4384 |
| ||
[YA]: He was no more than a servant: We granted Our favour to him, and We made him an example to the Children of Israel. [RK]:He was no more than a servant whom we blessed, and we sent him as an example for the Children of Israel.
241 | [43:64] Line:4389 |
| ||
[YA]: "For Allah, He is my Lord and your Lord: so worship ye Him: this is a Straight Way." [RK]:"GOD is my Lord and your Lord, you shall worship Him alone. This is the right path."
242 | [43:68] Line:4393 |
| ||
[YA]: My devotees! no fear shall be on you that Day, nor shall ye grieve,- [RK]:O My servants, you will have no fear on that day, nor will you grieve.
243 | [43:81] Line:4406 |
| ||
[YA]: Say: "If (Allah) Most Gracious had a son, I would be the first to worship." [RK]:Proclaim: "If the Most Gracious did have a son, I would still be the foremost worshiper."
244 | [44:18] Line:4432 |
| ||
[YA]: Saying: "Restore to me the Servants of Allah: I am to you an messenger worthy of all trust; [RK]:Proclaiming: "Listen to me, servants of GOD. I am an honest messenger to you."
245 | [44:23] Line:4437 |
| ||
[YA]: (The reply came:) "March forth with My Servants by night: for ye are sure to be pursued. [RK]:(God said,) "Travel with My servants during the night; you will be pursued.
246 | [46:6] Line:4516 |
| ||
[YA]: And when mankind are gathered together (at the Resurrection), they will be hostile to them and reject their worship (altogether)! [RK]:And when the people are summoned (on the Day of Judgment), their idols will become their enemies, and will denounce their idolatry.
247 | [46:21] Line:4531 |
| ||
[YA]: Mention (Hud) one of 'Ad's (own) brethren: Behold, he warned his people about the winding Sand-tracts: but there have been warners before him and after him: "Worship ye none other than Allah: Truly I fear for you the Penalty of a Mighty Day." [RK]:Recall that the brother of `Aad warned his people at the dunes - numerous warnings were also delivered before him and after him: "You shall not worship except GOD. I fear for you the retribution of a great day."

250 | [50:29] Line:4659 |
| ||
[YA]: "The Word changes not before Me, and I do not the least injustice to My Servants." [RK]:"Nothing can be changed now. I am never unjust towards the people."
