Is it another god with GOD? Say, "Show me your proof, if you are truthful." | ||||

| [YA]: Are (these two) alike?- one to whom We have made a goodly promise, and who is going to reach its (fulfilment), and one to whom We have given the good things of this life, but who, on the Day of Judgment, is to be among those brought up (for punishment)? [RK]:Is one whom we promised a good promise that will surely come to pass, equal to one whom we provide with the temporary materials of this life, then suffers eternal doom on the Day of Resurrection? | ||||

| [YA]: See they not how Allah originates creation, then repeats it: truly that is easy for Allah. [RK]:Have they not seen how GOD initiates the creation, then repeats it? This is easy for GOD to do. | ||||

[RK]:He said, "You worship beside GOD powerless idols due to peer pressure, just to preserve some friendship among you in this worldly life. But then, on the Day of Resurrection, you will disown one another, and curse one another. Your destiny is Hell, wherein you cannot help one another." | ||||

| [YA]: Every soul shall have a taste of death in the end to Us shall ye be brought back. [RK]:Everyone will taste death, then to us you will be ultimately returned. | ||||

[RK]:If they try to force you to set up any idols beside Me, do not obey them. But continue to treat them amicably in this world. You shall follow only the path of those who have submitted to Me. Ultimately, you all return to Me, then I will inform you of everything you have done. | ||||

| [YA]: We grant them their pleasure for a little while: in the end shall We drive them to a chastisement unrelenting. [RK]:We let them enjoy temporarily, then commit them to severe retribution. | ||||

| [YA]: And if an entry had been effected to them from the sides of the (city), and they had been incited to sedition, they would certainly have brought it to pass, with none but a brief delay! | [YA]: O ye who believe! When ye marry believing women, and then divorce them before ye have touched them, no period of 'Iddat have ye to count in respect of them: so give them a present. And set them free in a handsome manner. [RK]:O you who believe, if you married believing women, then divorced them before having intercourse with them, they do not owe you any waiting interim (before marrying another man). You shall compensate them equitably, and let them go amicably. | ||||

| [YA]: Truly, if the Hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and those who stir up sedition in the City, desist not, We shall certainly stir thee up against them: Then will they not be able to stay in it as thy neighbours for any length of time: [RK]:Unless the hypocrites, and those with disease in their hearts, and the vicious liars of the city refrain (from persecuting you), we will surely grant you the upper hand, then they will be forced to leave within a short while. | ||||

[RK]:We passed the scripture from generation to generation, and we allowed whomever we chose from among our servants to receive it. Subsequently, some of them wronged their souls, others upheld it only part of the time, while others were eager to work righteousness in accordance with GOD's will; this is the greatest triumph. | ||||
